  1. Technic Contest Bandits vs Enforcers - Results This contest was based on the series M.A.S.K. which aired during the 80's. It's about vehicles transforming from a regular vehicle to a battle vehicle. This concept made for an interesting, yet difficult contest, resulting in a limited number of entries. Nonetheless the contest was still very succesful. Below are the results of the classic Top 3. However, the contest was split into two categories. One for the Pro builders and previous contest winners. And one for all other contestants. The winner of each category receives a prize and a third prize will be raffled. 1st The Sandstormer (Bandits) by MajklSpajkl Entry Topic - Discussion Topic For me the clear winner. Perfect example of the bandit leader vehicle. 2nd VIP Transporter (Enforcers) by Desert752 Entry Topic - Discussion Topic Another great example of a leader vehicle. Transforms into a powerful launch facility. 3rd Moby-Brick (Enforcers) by JamesJT Entry Topic - Discussion Topic One of my favorites. Great aesthetics, combined with a killer transformation makes for a killer whale vehicle. Prizes I have used a random number generator (random.org) to raffle the bonus prize. And the winner is....#23: Block_Smarts Lego Technic. 1st Prize: MajklSpajkl or 2nd Prize: Desert752 Get's the set MajklSpajkl didn't choose. 3rd Prize: Block_Smarts Lego Technic Thanks again to the Vengit for making this generous prize pool possible  To find out more about SBrick, click here or on the image below. Congratulations to all winners and thanks to everyone for joining this great contest I will contact the winners via PM to handle their prizes. 2. Technic Bandits vs Enforcers Contest This topic will be used as a voting topic for the Bandits vs Enforcers Contest. VOTING RULES AND REGULATIONS Voting scheme uses the old Formula One style point distribution (10, 6, 4, 3, 2 and 1 POINT) You need to assign 10 points to the 1st place, 6 points to the second and so one. You need to vote for 6 ENTRIES (no more, no less) Clearly mention the ENTRY NUMBER and the NUMBER OF POINTS per entry that you vote on. If you joined Eurobricks after the start of the contest, you can be banned from voting (when vote rigging is suspected) You may NOT vote for your own entry. In the event of a tie for any place the Technic Staff will decide which entry wins. Our decision is final. Questions about voting can be asked in the Bandits vs Enforcers Contest Information Topic. For example (entries randomly chosen): --- comments can be placed above the votes 5: 10 (no comments here please) 6: 6 1: 4 9: 3 7: 2 3: 1 Or comments can be placed below the votes ---- NOTES Please use this exact notation NUMBER: VOTES (with a colon). Colossal Battle Contest!

Hey everybody! Just wanted to let you all know there is a contest in progress in the LEGO War group on Flickr! Check it out and join the fun! ~Mark
  4. Looting, robbing, smuggling and plundering are the hobbies of every healthy pirate. This contest explores the nefarious side of the LEGO System pirate's life, so your mission is to show us the gory aspect of their daily activities in the Golden Age of Piracy. If you have a soft stomach then you'd better not enter the pirate forum until the contest is over! Blood, gore, and insanity will prevail until then. Winners! It's time to announce the winners of the contest! Thanks everyone for participating, you all did great! With almost accepted 50 entries, the Large and Small Categories were a great success. If you are one of the winners, please PM me your full name and address (including country) and a phone number. Thank you Eurobricks Administrators and the The Lego Group for allowing such a great contest with great prizes. As you may have noticed, Kolonialbeamter won first prize for the Digital Category. Since he is staff, prizes will be distributed to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place winners. Large Category 1st Place: Puerto Secarico Raid by vitreolum 2nd Place: Repel Boarders! by PaddyBricksplitter 3rd Place: Death On A Salt Breaze by Adair 4th Place: The Last Bottle Or The Golden Age Of Piracy by DwalinF 5th Place: Judgement Day by blackdeathgr Small Category 1st Place: Tavern Brawl by Dzoni90 2nd Place: Only Imperial Stormtroopers Are So Precise... by jansued 3rd Place: Death From Above by Halhi 141 4th Place: Offering To Huitzilopochtli by kritch Digital Category 1st Place: Sharknado? Digital Division: Maximum size 16x16. Rules 1. First rule: have fun! 2. The contest will run from August 14th to October 23rd, 2015. As long as it's still October 23rd somewhere in the world, you can still enter. 3. No entries will be accepted after that date, unless something arises causing the contest deadline to be extended unexpectedly. 4. This contest is open to all EB members, even if they joined EB after the contest has begun. Staff are allowed to enter, but are not eligible to win prizes. 5. One entry per member and per category. You can enter all categories with different entries, but you'll be eligible to receive only one prize. 6. All entries must be new creations, not posted anywhere else prior to being entered in the contest. You may be asked by a staff member to change your entry if it is too similar to an earlier creation. 7. All entries must be built from real LEGO. No clone brands. Third-party custom minifigure accessories are allowed. 8. Digital entries will ONLY be allowed in the Digital Division. 9. There is no piece restriction or height restriction or mini-figure limit for any class. 10. A reasonable amount of overlap is allowed in the Small and Digital Categories, but nothing extensive. Stacking plates/baseplates will not be allowed. If you are uncertain that your entry qualifies, we suggest posting it with a specific request in this topic for a review and someone in the staff will make a determination. Reasonable overlap is defined by:The main build should be able to fit inside the 16x16 square. Minor portions of the MOC such as greebling, minifigs, and accessories could be partially outside the "square". [*]11. Custom sails, rigging, and flags are allowed. [*]12. Non-Lego light sources are allowed as long as you mention it in your entry description. [*]13. You can use official stickers or custom stickers. [*]14. All entries must be posted as a new topic in the Pirate MOCs Forum, The thread title should be the title of the MOC. One creation per thread and one thread per creation. [*]15. A specific thread tag (beneath the title) is required for each entry. Only entries with these tags will be accepted. This topic contains the three tags below. If you select the relevant tag and your topic is not listed, you need your tag corrected. If you need help with your thread's tag, ask in this topic. PTV 2015 Large PTV 2015 Small PTV 2015 Digital [*]16. You may present up to 6 pictures per entry. Post pictures no larger than 800x600, but you may link to bigger pictures and image galleries. No collage pictures please. [*]17. You may do a 'full-blown photo edit' with all the text, effects, background compositing, support erasing, and other effects on one picture. This should be your first image. The first picture will become your thumbnail for the voting round, so pick well. All your other pictures may have no editing other than color adjustment or background removal for a solid-color background. For obvious reasons, any photo editing that changes the shape, functionality, or color (not tint or adjustment, but actual color) of a LEGO piece is prohibited. [*]18. All entries are considered WIPs (Works In Progress) until the deadline passes. You may change and improve your MOC right up to the deadline. [*]19. Your entry has to contain something evil, depicting the spirit of the contest. No peaceful scenes. [*]20. For each category, EB staff will make a first selection, and then EB members will vote for their favorite entry among that selection. If the staff doesn't question your sanity based upon your gruesome entry, it's not making the first cut. Prizes Large Division: 1st Prize: 70413 The Brick Bounty 2nd Prize: Pirates Chess Set 3rd Prize: 70412 Soldiers Fort 4th Prize: 70410 Soldiers Outpost 5th Prize: 70411 Treasure Island Small Division: 1st Prize: 70412 Soldiers Fort 2nd Prize: 70410 Soldiers Outpost 3rd Prize: 70409 Shipwreck Defense 4th Prize: 10679 Pirate Treasure Hunt Digital Division: 1st Prize: 70410 Soldiers Outpost 2nd Prize: 70409 Shipwreck Defense 3rd Prize: 10679 Pirate Treasure Hunt Questions and Answers A summary of relevant questions asked about this contest with answers. Does the entry need a baseplate or custom plate? It doesn't matter what you place your heinous entry on. You may use baseplates, BURPS, plates, bricks, or prefab hulls. Does it mean only a 16x16 square? For a small or digital entry, the entry must be able to fit inside a 16X16 square. What pirate factions are allowed? Any pirate faction may be performing gruesome acts onto any other faction is allowed. Only factions related to this Pirate Forum are allowed. Space Pirates will not be accepted. This includes, but is not limited to: Pirates Islanders Armada Napoleonic Wars Golden Age of Sail Aztec Maya Inca Fantasy pirates similar to Pirates of the Caribbean [*]Are minifig scaled MOCs the only scale allowed? Scale does not matter, but it may be hard to see mayhem and heinous acts in micro scale. [*]Is the description I provide for my entry sound evil enough for the contest? It's hard to judge based upon a text description. Your description may sound inadequate for the contest, but then your entry turns out to be insanely awesome. Remember, entries are considered W.I.P.s until the end of the contest. If you're looking for ideas, I suggest the same as KB. Check out the Pillage the Village Contest from 2008,large, medium, and small entries. [*]Are early steam vessels allowed? Yes, early steam vessels will be allowed similar to the types found in the Ship Index. [*]May I mutilate and brutalize the actual Lego bricks in my creation by cutting, gluing, painting them? Custom Figs (including animals) are fine. Physical modification of Lego pieces for the construction of the entry is not allowed. Now, let's see your evil side! Get building, lads, there be pillagin' and plunderin' to be done here!
  5. Here is my entry for the TC7 contest, the Snake Charmer counterpart of Kill Bill. It is an enforcer pursuit vehicle, not motorised in the end. No weapons decided yet, 3-in-1 transformations almost done. Its a drag car for the road, that can transform into a speed boat for water, or a jet plane for the air. Entry name: Snake Charmer Description: Enforcer Pursuit vehicle, able to get to the bandits on land, water and air. Drag car that turns into a high speed boat by folding the wheels revealing jet motor. Then it turns into a high speed plane, by unfolding the wings from the middle section, securing them with long axels and adding tips to them. Landing gear can be deployed to land on groud or it can land as a seaplane. Armed with multiple rocket launchers, search lights, radars, two man crew. 6. Here is the progress on my first entry on Eurobricks, a transformer helicopter truck. It is powered by a large motor for wheels and rotors (that disengage and fold in via levers when not in use), with a medium motor for the front canon. The canon shoots Zamor balls from a large container, that is hidden by (and can be reloaded via) the cabin. Only the canon nozzle is visible, the rest is hidden. The construction will be remote controlled. Entry name: Kill Bill, the bandit truck Functions summary: Large motor remote controlled 4wd drive train, twin front and back saw blades linked to the same large motor, manual extracting and retracting top/tail rotor, connected to the large motor when extracted. Front Zamor canon hidden behind a sliding door, sliding cabin roof to reload, driven to shoot by a medium motor. 7. Hello EB community! My entry for the SWEU Contest (Category: Interaction) is the Tsoss Beacon Conference from the novel "Darksaber" by Kevin J Anderson. In 12 ABY, Admiral Natasi Daala called the remaining 13 warlords to Tsoss Beacon in the Deep Core in order reunify the warring Imperial factions. Among those present were self-stylized Superior General Sander Delvardus, High Admiral Treuten Teradoc and Admiral Blitzer Harrsk. When the warlords refused to cooperate, Daala gassed them and took command of their forces. You can find details on Wookieepedia: http://starwars.wiki...l_Reunification My vignette is based on this illustration: Daala reenacts a scene from her favorite movie: Goldfinger The Warlords don't match Harrsk, Delvardus and Teradoc because I didn't have better minifig-heads. Also, I placed Daala and Gilad outside the conference room because Lego doesn't make gas masks, I hope that can be seen as artistic freedom. 8. Hello EB community! My entry for the SWEU Contest (Category: Starships) is the E-Wing Starfighter. Commissioned by the New Republic during the Thrawn campaign as a replacement for the X-Wing, the E-Wing remained in service until after the Yuuzhan Vong War. E-Wings were often carried into battle by Endurance-class Fleet Carriers, MC90 Star Cruisers and Imperial-II-class Star Destroyers. Since the NJO novels aren't eligible for the contest, this fighter is active during the Black Fleet Crisis, particularly the Battle of ILC-905. (from: Tyrant's Test) You can find details, technical specifications and reference pictures on Wookieepedia: http://starwars.wiki...ort_starfighter Pictures: Link to the album: [EDITED August 5th, 2015: changed link from Picasa to Flickr]

  10. Still very much a WIP, so I'm open for comments and feedback. Wolverine's claw is a placeholder until i can get the real thing. Wolverine and Count Dooku are having an epic battle in New York! Thanks for looking! Please comment on what I need to improve on.
  11. Thank you all for your patience. I've had a lot of real life events keeping me from posting this. And let me tell you, it was hard to narrow it down to the final entries that you all get to vote on. For all of you whose entries did not make it, it wasn't because your entry wasn't good. I thought all the battle packs were incredible and showed hard work on your part. Thank you for getting involved. Voting is now open! Each picture is a link to the original thread. Please go to each thread before voting as there are more pictures from the members that may help you make a better choice. Please vote for your two favorite entries by listing the numbers. For example: Only those who were members before the contest ended on June 1st can vote. If you were not a member before June 1st then you can't vote. This is to prevent accounts being created for voting. You must vote for two entries, you cannot only vote for one. The two entries with the most votes will win the prize: Endor Rebel Trooper & Imperial Trooper Battle Pack. Some members have more than one entry you can vote for. As a member can only win one of the two prizes, if a member gets the most votes for both of their entries the 2nd prize will go to the 3rd place member. You cannot vote for your own entry! Voting will close at the end of the day on the 24th of June. As long as it is still the 24th somewhere in the world, you can still vote. Votes cast after that hour will not be accepted. 1. LordDan - Advanced Bomb Squad 2. jansued - Alliance Anti Boarding Crew 3. Ninja Nin - Angry Senator Battle Pack 4. Artizan - Arc Troopers Battlepack 5. BJM - Assassins of Honoghr 6. 12. On Thanos' endless hunt for the six infinity gems, he has sent MODOK to a distant galaxy to hunt for the Space Gem! However, Iron Man and Falcon have followed him, and have made a few allies along the way. Now they battle on Tatooine to prevent each other from nabbing the Space Gem! R2-D2 is now Iron Man's trusty right-hand man - taking on the mind-controlled Stormtroopers! Unbeknownst to this market seller on his cargo sled, he is the owner of the all-powerful Space Gem! Can you see it? (it's the pink gem in the crate) C-3PO provides valuable information to Iron Man behind the holographic display. Falcon provides support from above. The battle is on between Modok in his upgraded chair, and Iron Man! The young, Rodian child must be put out of danger! He was simply working on his podracer engine when this battle arose. Watto emerges from his crooked shack to see what all the noise is about. That's all folks, hope you like it, and please vote for me!
  13. TECHNIC BANDITS VS ENFORCERS CONTEST Bandits are roaming the wastelands, driving custom battle vehicles, making life miserable, hatching plots against humanity and what not. Things would have gone from bad to worse if it weren't for the Enforcers, trying to maintain peace and calm. This ongoing conflict needs to end once and for all. DESCRIPTION Build a Technic Vechicle with two modes, one normal mode and a battle mode. The vehicle needs to be able to switch/transform between the two modes. In normal mode the vehicle needs to look like a normal vehicle, without visible weapons, armor, etc. In battle mode all bets are off. No restrictions here, use your imagination. Weapons popping out, armor plating sliding out, whatever. You and your vehicle need to survive, so you need to outsmart your rivals. For example: A vehicle with wheels (a car, a motorbike) that turns into a vehicle that doesn't need wheels (a plane, a helicopter, a boat, a submersible). A truck that transforms into a rocket launch site A helicopter that turns into a jet plane TRANSFORMATION The single most important aspect of this contest is that the vehicle (that is the chassis or bodywork) needs to have some sort of transformation, which makes it possible to turn the normal vehicle into the battle vehicle. Essentially, it needs to transform into another type of vehicle, or the same vehicle with sufficient transformation. For example; You can create a vehicle where the bodywork rises and can turn like a tank. This doesn't really make it a different vehicle, but there is a proper transformation. CHOOSE SIDES Before you start building, you need to choose a side! Will you ride with the Bandits and wreak havoc or will you uphold the law and roll with the Enforcers. The choice is yours! In order to distinguish the two sides, there's a mandatory color scheme to be used. The Enforcers roll in Black & White (optional), while the Bandits use any other color combination they can get their hands on (Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, a mix of colors, whatever). Both sides can use Grey as a supporting color (as long as it's not predominant). Both sides can use any color in the chassis, as long as the bodywork is mainly the color of the chosen sides Both sides can use grey in the chassis. Colored pins and bushes are allowed, but please try to avoid using colored connectors, clearly visible from the outside. NAME YOUR VEHICLE What would a bad megablocks vehicle be without a bad megablocks name?! Exactly! So each vehicle needs to have a cool name, designating the vehicle in the pack. DEADLINE Since this is a summer contest and some of you might enjoy a well earned holiday, the allotted time for this contest is 8 weeks. Deadline date is August 16th, 2015. Contest will be closed on Monday the 17th OR LATER. Disclaimer: I will close the contest when I see fit and when I have the time to process the results. This can be later than the 10th of August. Please don't complain about this not being fair and all. RULES AND REGULATIONS The following section describes the contest specific and general rules and regulations. But before that, please take notice of a simple motto regarding the Eurobricks Contests: CONTESTS ARE FOR FUN! Of course there's competition, but at the end of the day, LEGO is just a hobby and the main goal for each of us is to have fun! CATEGORIES In order to make it a bit more interesting for everyone to enter the contest, we are trying something new. Instead of having a single list of participants with Jeroen winning , this contest consists of two categories (A and B). One for Pro builders (designated by the Pro tag) and the previous contest medalists. The second category is for everyone else. Updated category rules (thanks to Lipkop for the suggestion): The two categories aren't strictly separated. Voters will not be forced to vote in both categories, and the ranking will still be announced as a single list, not just the separated A and B lists. So basically everything will be as it was before, but the first pro/non-pro in the list also gets a prize and gets attention. The winner of the non pro category might get promoted tho the pro list Disclaimer: Not all Pro builders have a Pro tag. When I see a Pro builder entering the contest, I retain the right to grant him the Pro builder tag and promote him to category A (no questions asked). CONTEST SPECIFIC RULES AND REGULATIONS Each vehicle needs to have a cool name (no name, no entry). Each contestant needs to chose a side (Bandits or Enforcers). Bodywork of an Enforcer needs to be Black & White (optional) as supporting color (grey as supporting color is allowed). Bodywork of a Bandit needs to be Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, ... (any color, or a mix of colors), as long as it's not Black or White (grey as supporting color is allowed). Pneumatics are permitted. LEDs are permitted. 3rd party strings, hoses and rubber bands are permitted. Electronics (PF elements, SBricks and Mindstorms) are permitted. GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS The contest is open to all EB members (also new members). Members who joined EB after the start of the contest can be banned from voting (when vote rigging is suspected). Voting rules will be explained later in the voting topic. One entry per member. Entries need to be new (never posted anywhere previously). Only physical builds, so no LDD or other virtual entry. If you have any doubts about the suitability of your entry contact me. All entries are to include only real LEGO. No clone brands, 3rd party parts, or digital entries allowed. No cutting, sculpting or modifying parts. Entries are to be placed in the entry topic in this forum. Entries not in the entry topic are not eligible for voting. The entry post may be edited at any time up to the end of the contest, so feel free to make improvements if you wish. The contest might be closed later than the deadline. Don't complain about this not being fair. You have enough time to build. Don't ask for more time. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not follow these rules. These rules can be changed whenever we see fit to ensure that people follow the intent of the contest. Staff members are not eligible for winning prizes. WHAT DO I NEED TO ENTER? All participant need to create a discussion topic and create a post in the entry topic. REMEMBER TO GIVE YOUR VEHICLE A BAD megablocks NAME! 15. This is my entry (Yay! I'm the first!) for the Star Wars Vs Marvel Contest Category A. I wanted to make a fluid fighting scene, and I think this works quite well. Spider-man, "In your face!" Spider-man uses his web to pull off a speeder from it's course. He has already taken care of this Stormtrooper. A shot of the vegetation. Another shot of vegitation Another Stormtrooper. A shot from under. There he is again! Spider-man taking in 5 of the Empire's finest! I hope you like it (and vote for it) and if you do, be sure to comment!

    Expanded Universe Contest

UPDATE! The deadline has been extended to Aug 2nd! UPDATE! The prizes have been listed! What has, for decades now, been the history of the Star Wars universe after Return of the Jedi will officially be replaced this December. The story of the Expanded Universe has been told through dozens of books, some of them good and some of the not-so-good. But for many Star Wars fans, those books have been on equal footing with the movies. It has been long enough now since Lucas announced that he would be re-writing Star Wars history, that those of us who are EU fans have come to terms with the fact. But before Star Wars 7 is released, I want to celebrate the former EU with a contest. Because the EU covers too large an amount of time, this contest will only deal with events taking place between 4 ABY to 24 ABY (ABY=After the Battle of Yavin). The contest will also only include content found in books, not video games or e-novellas. Each entry will need to cite which book it is from (exact page numbers not necessary). The following is a list of books that can be used for this contest: For those who are less familiar with the EU I would suggest checking out Wikipedia and Wookieepedia's sections on the New Republic era as that is where all the books you can build from are found. Category A: Show an interaction between the good guys and the bad guys. Maybe Jacen and Jaina Solo are trying to escape from Qorl, the TIE pilot. Maybe Corran Horn is helping to defeat the ghost of Exar Kun. Maybe Talon Karrde is trying to survive an encounter with Admiral Thrawn. Or maybe the Rogue Squadron is facing off against Ysanne Isard. Whichever characters you choose, this category should be about the interaction between them. This is not a contest about for making the best custom EU minifigs. This category will be judged based on how recognizable the setting and interaction of the characters is. Category B: Build a ship from the EU. This should be a ship that does not appear in the films but only in the EU. Exceptions to this would be ships owned by specific people such as Kyp Durron’s X-Wing or Ysanne Isard’s Super Star Destroyer the Lusankya. Other exceptions would be variations on ships like the Stealth X-Wing. Examples of ships that are only in the EU would be the Wild Karrde, the Sun Crusher, the K-Wing, TIE-uglies, etc. Category C: This category is all about the creatures of the EU. Build a brick built Ysalamir of Myrkr, a Crystal Spider from the glitterstim spice mines of Kessel, one of Talon Karrde’s Vornskr, a battle hydra used by Exar Kun, or any other creature from the EU. Alternately, you could use a creature already molded by Lego and create the setting from the EU in which the creature is found. You could build the wampa pack led by the one-armed wampa on Hoth, a Hapan horde of rancors, or other scenes. Rules One entry per member and per category. You can enter all categories with different entries, but you'll be eligible to receive only one prize. There are no size restrictions for any of the categories. The contest will run from 4th May to 2nd Aug, 2015. As long as it's still Aug 1st somewhere in the world, you can still enter. Entries posted after the deadline will be disqualified. This contest is open to all EB members, even if they joined EB after the contest has begun, with the exception of the Star Wars staff, who are not eligible to win prizes. All entries must be new creations, not posted anywhere else prior to being entered in the contest. You may be asked by a staff member to change your entry if it is too similar to an earlier creation. All entries must be built from real LEGO. No clone brands, no third-party custom parts. Digital entries will be allowed. All digital entries must use only existing pieces in existing colors. All entries must be posted as a new topic in the Watto’s Junkyard forum, the title prefixed by, "[sWEU] – category - entry name". (For example, "[sWEU] – Cat. A. - Jacen and Jaina’s Harrowing Escape".) A link must also be included in this thread for your entry to count. Post pictures no larger than 800x640, but you may link to bigger pictures. You may do a 'full-blown photo edit' with all the text, effects, background compositing, support erasing, and other effects on one picture. All your other pictures may have no editing other than color adjustment or background removal for a solid-color background. For obvious reasons, any photo editing that changes the shape, functionality, or color (not tint or adjustment, but actual color) of a LEGO piece is prohibited. It is also prohibited to use the Lego logo in any picture. All entries are considered WIPs (Works In Progress) until the deadline passes. Until the deadline has passed, you are allowed to change and improve your MOC. For each category, EB staff will choose the top 25, and then EB members will vote for their favorite entry among that selection. Prizes First place in Cat. A will win 75053 The Ghost First place in Cat. B will win 75046 Coruscant Police Gunship First place in Cat. C will win 75045 Republic AV-7 Anti-Vehicle Cannon
  21. Voting is over and the votes have been tallied, congratulations jansued and Artizan! Ever since 2007 The Lego Company has raided our wallets with their mostly popular (and sometimes less so, I’m looking at you 8015 Assassin Droid!) Battle Packs. Now it’s your turn! Create your own Star Wars Battle Pack to populate the galaxy (and your desk) with more minifigures! An all Jedi battle pack, Star Wars Christmas battle pack, an astromech battle pack, a cantina goer battle pack, the options are endless! All entries should include a small build with play features as well as 4 minifigures. Look to the previous battle packs for inspiration but use your imagination too. If you are using aliens that do not already have a mold produced by Lego (such as the Quarren), they must be a race that makes an appearance in one of the main 6 Star Wars movies. This is not a fig-barf contest. Each entry will be judged on play features, the main build, and the minifigures. The entries will be given a maximum of 6/15 points for the build, 5/15 points for the minifigures, and 4/15 points for play features. Rules Each person is allowed up to 2 entries in this contest, but each person is eligible to receive only one prize. Each entry must include 4 minifigures or the equivalent of minifigures (brick built figs may not contain more than 30 pieces). Each entry should not include more than 100 pieces (not including minifigures and 1 weapon apiece), but there will be some grace given if the piece count exceeds this number be a small amount. The contest will run from 1st May to 31th May, 2015. As long as it's still May 31 somewhere in the world, you can still enter. Entries posted after the deadline will be disqualified. This contest is open to all EB members, even if they joined EB after the contest has begun. EB Staff are ineligible to win prizes. You can use official stickers or custom stickers for the minifigures only. All entries must be posted as a new topic in the Watto’s Junkyard forum, the title prefixed by, "[sWBP] – entry name". (For example, "[sWBP] – Youngling Battle Pack") A link must also be included in this thread for your entry to count. If there are more than 25 entries, EB staff will make a first selection to bring the number down to 25, and then EB members will vote for their favorite entry among that selection. EB staff will using the judging scale listed above. EB members should vote based on the judging scale, but will not be required to show what points they judged by. Rules Update: The piece count allowed for brick-built figs has been increased to 30 pieces The piece limit rules has been updated to be more flexible. It's still at 100, but there is some overage allowed. This is being purposely left vague because I don't want people to abuse this rule and I reserve the right to veto any builds that are obviously too parts intensive. Entries are not required to list their piece count (though you still can if you want). The piece count needs to visually look like it could be a battlepack but can be done in a completely different way from the TLG produced battlepacks. (See my example entry for what would still be acceptable if it's not in the TLG format). Prizes First and second place will win 9489 Endor Rebel Trooper & Imperial Trooper Battle Pack. Example Entry: Rodian Bounty Hunter Battle Pack A galaxy far, far away always has work for a bounty hunter. Go on adventures with this group of Rodians! Help them crack the security codes on the door! Help make sure this group of bounty hunters always gets their guy, alive or disintegrated!

[SPC] Cat B - A Tale of Two Outposts

From the Diary of Captain Abraham Mayhew, July 14,1733 It has been eight days since my ship crashed upon the rocks of this desolate island. I have found an abandoned garrison stocked with supplies and weapons and am now patrolling the roof, searching for passing ships on the horizon. I raised the old pirate flag I always kept hidden in my cabin this morning in hopes that it may be noticed by a sharp-eyed sailor, but these waters are infrequently traveled and I fear I may be marooned here for some time. Luckily I have some company in a monkey I found stealing my lunch the other day. I have decided to call him Wilson, after my deceased father.
