This MOC is based on the building in 2026 Marvel set 76350 - Spider-Man vs. Hulk Epic Clash. I replaced all the tan parts, removed the fall-apart / explosion features, and enclosed it with a fold-open back half. The floors of the middle area are repeatable as well, if you desire more height for the building. Also, there are no interior details for this building in the LDD file. As for the MOC's name: this building echoes the 1960s 'Brutalist' architectural style, so I named it after that. NOTE: The building is missing a 3x3 tile with clock print of your choice on the front above the door. Rear of the building. The inside is totally empty. The building is supposed to lock shut on a Technic pin. (not included) The free LDD file of this MOC is available at this Bricksafe page. I will not be building this MOC myself... if anyone does, be sure to post pictures of it! Thoughts? -
I present to you the main academic building at Lake Forest College, in Lake Forest, IL, USA, built and rendered with stud.io Building this in 1:350 scale was tough because it's hard to capture all the shapes and details at such a small size. I used bricks in existing colors in hopes of one day physically building it, and also incorporated very complicated techniques that I never knew I could even attempt. The inside is a mess of supporting the outside, and I made sure it is stable enough but in digital form, who really knows? All things considered, I'm very proud of this, and looks just like the real thing. There are more shots in the flickr gallery and I can make more on request. -
Never really happy with my former 8-wide design this is what I ended up with after reworking it digitally with what ended up as a near-total overhaul DSB Litra EA The Danish State Railways' (DSB) first electric locomotive was built by Henschel & Sohn in Kassel, Germany (the first two) and Scandia, Denmark (the remaining ones). 22 were built in total from 1984 to 1992. 1 was scrapped. 16 were sold to Bulgaria and Romania from 2007 to 2010 and 4 to Bulmarket in Bulgaria in 2021. The last remaining one (EA 3004) was transferred to The Danish Railway Museum in 2020. Wiki here and irl photo here. My model: DSB "modern" red & black livery used in the 1980s. Scale: 1:46 Length: 52 studs from buffer to buffer Width: 8 1/3 studs Bricks: 1.132 Weight: 1.042g excl. batteri box Locomotion: 2 L-motors (PF or PU) Power: BuWizz 2.0/3.0 or 1 AAA PF/PU battery box Control: BuWizz, PU or SBrick Designed: 2023 Redesigned: 2025 It still has the fictional serial number EA 3024 and is named 'O K Kristiansen' Very high setting render from Stud.io with custom decals done in the PartDesigner tool. When you fix an irregular post, inform the indexer, so that he can update the index database. Good habits Avoid unnecessary posts inside this topic, if possible. NOTE: Alternate Versions (official different configurations for the same set) are counted as separate sets. Presenting another of my Danish State Railways’ (DSB) trains redesigned to 8-wide and digitally rendered (with a bonus livery)... DSB IC3 The Danish State Railways’ (DSB) highly successful and innovative InterCity 3 aka IC3 passenger train was co-developed by Siemens -Duewag in Germany and ABB Scandia in Denmark. The train is operated by DSB in Denmark and Sweden, by Renfe Operadora in Spain and by Israel Railways in Israel. Amtrak in the USA and Via Rail in Canada have tested the train in the past. A trainset consists of three units; two diesel motor units (Litra MFA and Litra MFB) and one intermediary unit (Litra FF). Up to five trainsets can be coupled together. 96 trainset were built for DSB from 1989 to 1991. All are still in service today. My model: Original white and red livery used from 1989 to 2002. Fictionally named “Jørgen Vig” with the crest of Billund added. Scale: 1:48 Length: 157 studs (MFA: 55 – FF: 47 – MFB 55) or approx. 122 cm Width: 8 studs Bricks: 2.948 (MFA: 1.040 – FF: 861 – MFB 1.047) Locomotion: 2 x 9v or 2 x PF/PUP train motors Power: 9v, 2 x LEGO AAA battery boxes or 2 x BuWizz battery boxes Control: 9v, PUP, SBrick, PFx Brick or BuWizz Designed: 2022 Conversion of my 7-wide model from 2017 to 8-wide with more accurate dimensions. Its able to navigate R40 but looks rather silly doing so: Interior with seats for 83 minifigs: Decorative side design for the bogies - a combination of parts and the molded decorative side for train motors: The coupling part can be change to a Liftarm Thin 1x7 (BL#32065) when combining several trainsets. Technique used for the sliding doors: Removing the 1 x 4 Tile as shown enables the door to slide open as a play feature. The fixed outer doors are a necessary part of the construction otherwise the very long body breaks too easily due to the roof being removable. Monas is a Local Landmark of Jakarta, Indonesia. Inspired by this Yul Burman Karel’s Monas MOC, but I redesigned it. Monas by Kamal Muftie Yafi, on Flickr I actually want to make this model for join this "Local Landmarks contest" in this forum, but the rules state: “All entries are to include only real LEGO. No clone brands, 3rd party parts, or digital entries allowed.”, Sadly, I don’t have all the part that need to create this model, though all the parts are exist in real life. Well, at least this could be an addition to my (digital) creations.

I could not find a discussion on this already so here goes: I am a professional freelance LEGO artist. My fondness for the LEGO System developed partly because of the challenge and restraint of the system. When ever something is called LEGO, that is what I relate it to. I sometimes see some pretty renderings of so-called digital LEGO builds on places like Flickr, and they are promoted as LEGO builds via LEGO groups. The problem is that these builds are often rendered with parts in colors that those parts have not been released in, and thus the build might as well have clone parts in it. That's when it does not belong in a group sharing things build with the LEGO System anymore. People doing this, could just as easily call it something else (Brick Art or something) and everything will be totally ok with me, but calling it LEGO is just misleading, frankly cheating. What do you guys think? Here is the latest example using a Slope 45 2 x 1 with 2/3 Cutout in Trans-Black for the windshield. I have nothing against the guy, but calling it LEGO just because LDD was used... Perhaps the problem only really lays with the groups accepting these contributions. -
Hi, I have been removing lots of land in Lego worlds (including water and clouds) and have came into a problem where some black bricks simply will not delete. I have tried the following methods: Remove Terrain tool - left click Remove Terrain Tool - right and left click (this keeps the red delete cube from moving about) Smooth terrain- this just adds more undeletable black bricks Lower terrain - this just adds even more undeletable bricks The brick building tool cannot delete them because it can only delete bricks that you have placed from the brick pallette here is a screen shot of the problem: Large Picture:http://bricksafe.com...undeletable.png Any ideas how I can delete it, it looks ugly sticking up when everything else is prefectly smooth. The floating floor area is also undeletable. Edit: I could share the world file so you can actually go into it and try and delete the bricks. Regards, Snipe -
Hello everyone, some time ago i got amazed when i saw the lego trains, and after a long time watching thems i wondered, if there was any lego technic train, so i decided to search, and i didnt find any one,i ve just found some trains on internet, but none really a technic model, so i wanted to make one by myself, so here it goes: This is the main idea its to have a fully working lego technic train, i wanted to make it to work without rails (because it would be to hard to make or buy them), it would work like a crane like movement. The whole model isnt very good because i had almost no time to make it, the idea its to have 2 bogie motors, both powered and steerable, i have used normal wheels with tires, because normal lego train wheels arent enough big or grippier, also the profile and the look wouldnt work, so i made this: The bogies would be powered by XL motors in the frame (from the green part) and rotated by servos, the drivetrain its like a normal truck rear transmission (but without suspension), differentials are to prevent damage to the axles during turning: And this is a picture showing how it would work: I know this model is really ugly and simple, but is because i hadnt time and im first designing the working parts, there are obviously some strength problems, but i will do my best and i will keep working on it to make it better (and maybe bigger), any suggestion for an improvement or ideas are welcome (sorry if i have a wrong spelt or misused word). When I'm working on something, I like to build with real bricks. But I also like to keep a digital copy of them for future reference. I usually have no problem with digital building in MLCad (except LSynth), but creating instructions is always a problem. The ordering of pieces requires huge amounts of time & care. What I'm asking is, what is the best way to build a digital copy of a real model, with the aim of making creating instructions easier? I'm asking about MLCad&LPub, but tips for other tools are also welcome. Also I almost exclusively do technic builds, so concerns might be different for regular bricks vs studless technic builds. -
Hi, I have been working on making a large Galactus figure in LDD, intending on buying the pieces necessary and building it in real life once I have finished. I completed the head (I'm building it in sections) and went on Bricklink to check the general prices of the bricks I need. For some reason, though, there is one piece: (Inverted Roof Tile Corner in Dark Purple or Medium Lilac) that was not available on Bricklink, and I have not been able to find anywhere. This kind of screwed me up, because I assumed if it was available in that color in LDD, it would be available in real life. Now I have to figure out a way to bypass this issue when I actually build the figure. Any one else run into a problem like this? -
A Conversation heard in Haven: "Did they have to build it like that?" "It's a lighthouse. It's s'pposed to be all tall and stuff." "Right." "But?" "Did they have to make it look so evil?" Looming over the Horns is the lonley Black Tower lighthouse, inhabited only by the mysterious woman who operates it. While all in Haven are happy to see the light of it's beacon, few like to visit the grimly foreboding structure. Whispers abound that the Lightkeeper worships some dark patron, and that the tower is truly more of a shrine that just happens to require a freshly kindled flame. Details behind the Spoiler.
