The FedEx looks nice. You can save on wheels and couplers by making articulated flat cars with shared single axle bogies like the Talgo train set.

The next question is how many of us on Eurobricks will sign up to be contestants? Which country will host the show? -

A LEGO reality show... a good idea or a bad one?
dr_spock replied to XAxles's topic in General LEGO Discussion
There was a competition to find the new MasterBuilder for a new Legoland Discovery Centre. It happened over a weekend. It started with 200 contestants, down to 50, 12 and then 1. How are they going to stretch out over several episodes and keep it interesting? Will viewers get to vote contestants off Brick Island? -
Looks nicer with the roof radiator fans/grilles. The white body and blue strip looks a bit like Indonesia railroad U20C.

Wouldn't be receivers be independently sending power to the motor? If one of them missed the stop button signal, it would still continue to keep the engine going?
-
Maybe too much friction somewhere. Are the wheel properly spaced on the motor? How about hooking up the motor directly to battery box and by-passing the IR receiver? Does the motor go full power on the tracks?

How many boys play toilets or bedrooms with their LEGO? I can see bedrooms as a part of Friends theme since my daughter and friends have sleepover parties.

Not bad. If it is electric, you could add a pantograph.

Is there a place here for Megabloks posts?

In the Community section. 3rd party brands can be discussed there. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showforum=7 -
Nice work. You should do one in pink and purple. Then you can use it for the Friends theme.

Imagine like a toilet to complement all those coffee cups and coffee machines LEGO put into their CITY sets. Actually toilets are pretty easy to MOC yourself.

Should LEGO cut ties with Shell?

If the contract ends in 18 months as indicated in the German article, then that would be in 2016, n'est-ce pas?- 214 replies

With so much police watching the LEGO City, there is no crime as no one can get away. So no need for court houses. Or we can pretend it is the Judge Dredd police force.

Using Duplo bricks as structure elements?
dr_spock replied to Andy D's topic in General LEGO Discussion
We used Duplo for the support structure to our LEGO Store Window display. A regular 2x4 brick will connect to the top of the Duplo brick. The connection won't have much clutch power. If you don't move or lift your MOC too much then it is fine. Duplo is goood if you already have them from your childhood.
