Hmmm. That was when my contest was running, so it should be fine as you shared it in the first place this year and during the contest time.

I dunno. The creatures from Nexo Knights: and the Elves Goblins Are similar and match the same design idea. They are a little larger I suppose.

Hello! I have been looking at the new little guys in Dreamzzz and got to thinking about all the "odd" figures over the years since the Minifigure was introduced. From 4 Junior's Jack Stone, Basic & Fabuland, the variety of figures from Belville, Technic and the Bionicle/Hero Factory minifig scaled characters... Really, from A to Xalax. There has been a lot of the non standard figures (I liked the Elves Goblins, Rock Monsters from Power Miners and the Game board minis quite a lot also). So, opinions? Like 'em, Love 'em? Loath the figures appearing at all? Just to nip anything in the bud: Minidolls can count in here but after so many consistent years in production I would say they are not odd figures when compared with all the others I have mentioned above. Figures that have appeared for a while, even just one theme, and are now gone.

It is quite alright! It is no big deal It has been a long time since I was solely in the Ladies Group. I was a Fellow just before the launch of Ninjago and the new EB creation of Action Themes and that was a long time ago now!

Another option depends on your location. Some online dealers exist who will purchase sets or broker their sale. However, eBay is nice and easy to figure out. I have sold a few diecast cars successfully, and I am a complete amatuer seller!

I am not sure if that is 100% possible without permission from the site owners. It might be possible to ask the webmaster of the site to allow the data to be copied from their servers to some you are funding (as I guess they plan to take it offline so they no longer pay for hosting) but I am not sure of the costs involved and just how well data transfer will work. Creating a new forum can be as easy as searching the web for a free forum creation site that you want to use. The Wayback Machine takes snapshots of a site and archives them, then you can search the domain name and see a timeline of the site. Choosing a date on that timeline has captures taken on that time/date. It works pretty well for most things but can be missing some pages and functions on a site. (I use it to look at lost fan sites from my youth, it is okay for that purpose). For you, it would likely be most useful once the site is defunct, then the final captures will have the most up to date pages possible.

Unfortunately, PPP as a metric does not take into account desire to have a set or a specific character minifigure. That is the crux of the matter. With something like LEGO purchased by AFOLs, Desire for Thing is an important subjective facet of perceived "value" that always supersedes PPP. Sure, PPP will be a consideration, but if you really really want something, it doesn't matter! I encounter a lot of discounts in the supermarket, all sorts of themes are on the shelves. However, the cost has to be sub £15 for me to pick up Harry Potter, Star Wars and Architecture. Maybe even less than £10. The themes aren't bad, I just don't like them as much, so if the reduction is significant and the parts in the set are useful to my builds, I will buy. A collector of Star Wars LEGO would snatch up certain sets at even retail price and if it was cheaper they would get it faster still. The value is there for them. All very subjective.

Saw this in person in April Good build.

Help with identifying parts/sets!
Peppermint_M replied to WhiteFang's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That film was my childhood A quick tip for seeking parts on Bricklink for newbies (as there are a lot of queries that seem to be easy finds, at least to me) go to the specific part section (Aka - Minifig Head) and search out a key feature of the figure. "Stubble" will turn hundreds and hundreds to less, if you are trying to find where one figure head came from. Another good one is colour search, heads that are a less common colour can be found quickly if you start looking from the plastic colour. -
It is not exactly the theme that LegendaryArticuno wants, so of course it is a failure Personally I am looking forward to getting hold of some.

Help with identifying parts/sets!
Peppermint_M replied to WhiteFang's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Tap on Bricklink. This is the current available version. -
I very misty memory style recall spotting the Dinosaur sets in a Woolworths shop when they were available. One of my brothers had at least one as the parts are knocking around in the "boys" collection of bricks (Currently inherited by the youngest of the boys still into LEGO, my own collection was always separate and I am not so much of a meanie that I would take it now!) Maybe it was a Q part, TLG still had full ownership of the LEGOLand parks at the time and would make very small limited Q part runs for Miniland or other park models. While some Q parts do make their way into the fan community, many are not as well recorded.

Nothing too busy, the vehicle is the focus. A nice backdrop is fine for presentation but a whole extra MOC is a little beyond the category.

Nah, anyone can enter with a ticket! They are foundations of the Eurobrick's Event and let us mad AFOLs in no problem. A few parks even have "Shopping" Tickets that allow half hour refunded entry so you can make purchases in the shops and then get your entry fee back. Also, I hasten to add to my previous post: The 13 year old friend of mine is the nephew of one of my best friends, so I have not exactly gone out and procured a teenaged friend!
