  1. Thanks LT, I have some more MOCs planned but I really need a job to pay for the bricks Haha, yeah it pretty much is a cave... It's in the foundations under the house, so it's all surrounded in sandstone... It's pretty awesome
  2. So this is a cool set i think, although I won't get all of them, i really want the scientist, the grandma (mainly for the cat ) and the jazz musician and maybe the scarecrow (although not sure where he'd fit into my city), oh and the ginger bread man!! But it looks like a great set all up!!
  3. Since it's been bumped i'll bite.... I'm not a fan of police stations, but this one is great! Those stairs on the corner, the dark blue arches over the windows, and the gate on the side are all fantastic features!! And as said above, it fits in very well with the official series. I also love the bay window on the first floor. Great work and happy building
  4. It's a nice looking building! I like the extended version, great conversion! And the bins look great! I wonder what you have done with the back in this new format? Happy building
  5. So, it's been a while and it's time for an update. Quite a lot has happened, many new building, paved streets etc. here are some photos: I really need some grey baseplates to go under the railway line.... I realised I didn't get many good shots of the pavements, but they have been extended by 4 studs plus a six studs wide for parking spaces... And here's the new 'suburban' area I have added, if you remember it used to be a straight line, now it's an 'L' shape... And here's my sigfig enjoying a cup of joe at the Cafe Corner. He loves this town :D Would love to hear what you guys think, constructive criticism welcome and there are more plans for the town down the track (when I get some more $$) As usual there are more pics and close ups on my flickr account (link in my sig) and here is a video I made of the town!
  6. Looking fantastic as usual, I love what you've done with the train station, I keep looking at mine no back and thinking how cold everyone must be in there! Fantastic layout and I look forward to the next update, happy building
  7. Nice MOC, I like the rock work but my favourite bits are the cacti and the bull skull, I can't decide which I like more but they are all very well done :D Happy building
  8. Cool park I like the statue and the little girl has knocked over the rubbish bin haha nice touch It looks like the park is kept in very good order! Great job and happy building
  9. I didn't notice that haha, I think I got so caught up in building the pillars and the rest of the build that I forgot the doors open!! But I am very happy with my town hall, I'm still trying to figure out where to fit it into my town
  10. Well no wonder you won!!! This is a fantastic house packed with awesome details I particularly like the fence/wall out the front (so much detail ), the fireplace is awesome too and the roof with all those tiles! But the whole MOC is amazing! Congratulations and happy building
  11. Wow, that is immense and amazing! Very very cool!! It seems a little too big to fit into a layout though, do you plan to add it to a layout? It's very impressive either way!! Great work and happy building
  12. Well I can report that I purchased the Town Hall and am half way through building it with no regrets!! It's a great build so far! I just need to figure out where to put it and I have decided to convert my Town Plan Town Hall into a Public Library!!! And the only colour differential problems I have is between black and dark blue.... They seem very similar even in the paper copies of the instructions.
  13. Ahaha, very cool, love the hidden room, but I think my favourite part of the house is the bottom floor. I love the living room with the different levels, very well done with such limited space! In fact the whole building is very well done being only 16 wide! And I also love the stained glass above the window on the ground floor too, great touch! Fantastic modular and happy building
  14. Very nice modular MOC, I like the overall colour scheme and design. THe garage door looks really nice and I like the stairs and pillars at the base of the stairs. Great building Happy building
  15. Cool train MOC, will it be doing laps of your town?? I like the colour scheme, they work well together And I love the landscaping you've done around it as a side note Well done and happy building
  16. Yeah those are reddish brown I wonder whether these items will come down even further when the new winter town set comes out.... They've already dropped and the set isn't even released yet, so surely once they become more readily available they will drop again.....???
  17. Amazing model of this very recognisable building! And the lighting effect is outstanding. You have captured the curves and the arch so well!! Congratulations! Well done and happy building
  18. Good call, I didn't notice them on first look at those pics. This couldn't be more perfect timing for me, as I am just beginning to look at BLing Market Street, which has 5 of those puppies!!! Thanks for the heads up
  19. Wow, yeah that really sux!! I got a Light grey left door for quite cheap for my Cafe Corner, and it stated playwear and surface scratches but was no where near as bad as that one the problem is sometimes you have to get used parts from BL as TLG no longer make the required brick, this door being a good example, you'll struggle to find a 'new' one as these pieces are so old now. It would seem this seller has not used the numeric guide Splatman has kindly showed us!! I hope you can get your money back, if not I would file a complaint against the seller...
  20. This looks like a nice little seem, I've haven't watched the show, although it's been recommended to me a few times. My favourite bit is the circular section in the tan house, very nice feature Happy building
  21. If these restaurants are really busy then we should be getting a whole bunch of minifigs...... right?? And no kid minifigs, kids aren't welcome at fancy Parisian Restaurants
  22. Nice interiors there, I like what you've done on the top floor, my interior on that floor is rather cramped (including only a one stud wide corridor for the entrance into one of the room) but each of the 3 rooms has an en suite! (Check out my flickr account for some pics if you're ineretsted!) And I like the detailing in the Cafe kitchen and the hotel Office is a great touch too Great work and happy building
  23. Very nice house. Excellent detail on the building and in the garden. I love the stud fence and stud walls on the lower part of the house, but the whole house is well designed and built I look forward to more MOCs and happy building
  24. Yeah I agree, the map is very well done! I look forward to the next chapter (as usual)
  25. Fantastic building there, I too when I went to Paris arrived at the Gare du Nord and it is a beautiful station, and you have captured its likeness very well here. Stunning build and good luck for the exhibition, happy building
