These bridges are amazing!!!! I will eventually need something similar in my layout, but was thinking of one I could just pick up and put back down, but this way is heaps cooler I'm going to study these photos quite a lot And your whole layout is very impressive! I look forward to further updates, happy building

Welcome to EB It looks very nice from a distance and it sounds like it has heaps of cool features! Any chance of some closer shots and shots of the interiors? Do you plan to brick build it eventually?

MOC: Blazing Modulars (some stupid with a flare gun)
timmyc1983 replied to eurotrash's topic in LEGO Town
Good looking fire damage here (if there is such a thing), I love the broken glass effect and the use of the technic beams. And finally the LEGO police have something to do, there's enough of them about the place I look forward to either a grand re-opening or a fresh new building taking its place, happy building -
Nice modular, and a very different idea which is always good to see.... I like your detail in the interior and the run down effect on the exterior is very well done!! I see it's had an accident in the other thread, so I'm off there to comment on that

What a lovely little country scene my favourite bits are the little mountain and the eating area under the grape vine very nice for the weekend! Fantastic MOC, happy building

Brilliant MOC, I think it was mentioned above, but the amount of detail that still 'pops' in grey is simply amazing! The coloured room is fantastic but there is detail throughout the MOC, very well done! Fantastic idea and very well built, happy building

Looking great, awesome little scene there although the pizza store had better avoid health inspections... I look forward to further updates (i hope there will be more ), happy building

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
timmyc1983 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Fantastic work I look forward to seeing them all completed! Are you going to incorporate them into a layout? -
This has a fantastic ruined and overgrown look to it, really love the overlook of the MOC. I particularly like the stairs and the ruined lean-to. Those poor soldiers met their match, that's for sure! And so much detail in the foliage Fantastic MOC and happy building

Very nice MOC, I love the effect of the tiles on the roof and porch, very effective! But the whole MOC is very put together. And I love a bit of western good luck for the contest and happy building

Ahaha that's an awesome photo! "Does that thing breathe fire?" "I don't know, just run!!!!"

This is a fantastic MOC!!! Fantastic idea executed perfectly. The detail you have managed to fit into this incredibly intricate design is absolutely astounding!! Congratulations and good luck for the competition, which I'm sure you will win with that design! Happy building

I like it, it's very cute nice amount of detail all around and the stickers are a good touch! I look forward to seeing the modifications once done, happy building

It looks very nice but I'd like to take a closer look, the pics are only thumbnails even after they've been clicked is there another link??

I consider the era I grew up with Town the golden age of LEGO Town/City... My first sets date back to 1990 (age 7) and my dark age began in 1997 mainly due to that year's dismal town selection ( http://www.brickset.com/browse/themes/?year=1997&theme=Town )... But I got the best of everything, best police station ever released 6398, best airport ever released 6597 and arguably the best ever town set in any category released, the aforementioned 1992 petrol station along with a host of buildings/vehicles found around town including a harbour and car racing tracks.... It would seem kid these days (God I'm old) just don't get the same joy from building a whole town, they want play cops and robbers with fast cars and gadgets.. So that's what TLG give them. Where as I was happy to keep my town going with as many buildings and vehicles of different types, kids now days clearly want police and fire with flashy lights etc. So we just have to wait in the wings until the occasional beauty comes along (like 3661 ) And if you don't like what TLG release you can always MOC

[MOD] My first mod posting, 60016 Octan tanker with 3180 trailer
timmyc1983 replied to canuckster's topic in LEGO Town
Yeah looks good maybe with the raised tank you could fit those wheel mud guards in where you wanted to....? Not exactly sure how you've done the MOD but it would look nice( r). Fantastic work and I look forward to further MODs, happy building -
Looking good, I can remember the anticipation before building each of these, and I collected the bricks for each set separately a few months apart... To have both at once Out of curiosity, how easily did you find the medium blue torso for the CC fig? I've had it on my wanted list for months and none of the stores I've bought from have had it....

Great modifications to already amazing modulars! My favourite is the pub, it looks really good next to the Cafe Corner. I love the little alley in the pub too (any more pics of that?) really well done! And I much prefer the top story windows with the roof pieces in the theatre along with the dark tan, great modification. Well done all 'round and I look forward to the next update, happy building

Haha great little scene, I'd be a bit worried about getting out of that hole but he seems to be enjoying his 'roll in the deep'! Great job on the tree and I love the roots growing down, fantastic touch! Nice work, happy building

Wow, amazing building!! The façade is awesome, so much detail and it's a fantastic representation of the original building! And I love the tram, it looks very realistic, fantastic lines on it. And the interior is perfect! I love the detail on each floor! I think my favourite is the furniture floor though, I love the two couches in the middle, very clever! Closely followed by the bottom floor, so many wonderful intricate details in the food and beverage on that floor. Awesome building, I can't wait for you next! Happy building

Another solid scene there I really like the wall colour scheme and the flowers. And once again lovely job with the minifigs. I think my favourite minifig is Noccio, although they are all done very well! I look forward to the next chapter, happy building

MOC: Pennsylvania RR's York Coaling Tower and Yard Office
timmyc1983 replied to Cale's topic in LEGO Train Tech
That coal tower is amazing such wonderful detail all over! And the office is a neat little building too, I really like the colour scheme! I look forward to seeing more, happy building -
Amazing city scape! I'm not normally a fan of much other than minifig scale, but this is simply awesome. Each building is more spectacular than the next, wonderful techniques used too. I too would love to see more of your work, happy building

MOC: VW Camper in minifig scale + hippie version!
timmyc1983 replied to Skrytsson's topic in LEGO Town
My favourite is the minifig scale (mainly because I just enjoy that scale all round mostly) but I think you've managed such fantastic detail in it, I particularly like the front end The mini scale version is cute and the hippie version is a nice touch but I just can't get past the minifig scale red and white version. Fantastic builds all 'round and happy building -
