  1. Thanks I'm really looking forward to see what you come up with. You don't see enough CC interiors on here!! I haven't had a chance to take another shot of the bar but will do tomorrow
  2. Just read through the thread and watching the progress on this amazing model is something quite special!!! You have done an exceptional job on this boat, the detail is quite astounding! I wouldn't even know where to start with something on that scale.... I will stick to my modular but I look forward to seeing this and more beautiful creations from you in the future Happy building
  3. Really nice build, lovely detail all over and the landscape and water looks great too. I particularly like the cacti very well done Happy building
  4. Aww man!! It's been 5 days already.......... When's the pic coming...? This is going to be a good one, I can feel it in my bones can't wait!!!!
  5. I'm hopeless at designing roofs, and this is a great looking technique! I'm trying to think how I can use it in a town modular building I'd love to see more pics if you have any, thanks for sharing and happy building
  6. Fantastic build and the detail is awesome. I particularly love the way you have done the beach and the water close into the beach. The dark tan tiles/plates and the trans clear/light blue rounds give it such a realistic look! And the castle itself is very impressive! Very many excellent details Well done and happy building
  7. Awesome station, fantastic use of the monorail tracks! And I love the overall look of the platform Re: the name. wikipedia has much information on the 'current' layout of the island: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodor_(fictional_island)#Current_system_.28passenger.29 I look forward to seeing your project grow, happy building
  8. I'm glad to hear your GG is complete, congrats. And I think the GG is my fav modular, certianly exterior wise anyway. In terms of interiors for the CC, I've put a couple of pics below here for inspiration, the good things is that there is a decent amount of space on the bottom floor to work with for the cafe, unlike the top floors for the hotel. I planned my interior on LDD before buying the bricks. There's a couple more pics on my flickr as well as pics of the hotel MOC interior I made if you're interested Welcome to EB and welcome back to the obsession which will take up all your spare time and money I agree with TomLego, your best bet is to buy the sets which are still for sale at the normal price. So if I were you I would buy the FB first and then save my pennies for the GE simply because that's the order that they will most likely retire in. Then once I had all of the current modulars for sale I would BL the GG and CC. And I will also add, I bought the GE and the FB at the same time, and thought I would prefer the GE build, but in the end I preferred the FB, it has some great techniques and mini builds and IMO has a wonderful finish with the brickwork on the second floor. The GE is a great build too, it's just the second floor is a little repetitive... I look forward to hearing which way you go
  9. Very nice, I normally prefer minifig scale builds, but I quite like this one. I think the look of the blue columns is worth any structural issues you may have encountered, they make the 'look' of the building! And I like the look of your street altogether, looks awesome! And I like some of your LDD designs on flickr too! Particularly the bank and the dark blue shop, would love to see them in bricks too. Great work and happy building
  10. Ahhhh, very good, I like it. And you've kept your favourite open backs on two sides!!! Very good! but it really wanna push that plate down I look forward to more, happy building
  11. Wow, this is a fantastic layout and that train station It is spectacular!! I really like the fire station too, and the Dutch buildings are very nice too. Great touch having the famous characters around the city, made me giggle I look forward to your city growing and seeing the updates, happy building
  12. Wonderful detail in both these and it's a hard choice. I've always wanted one of each to be honest hahaha a T1 to drive around in and a T2 for going to the beach and wot not! If only I could afford it!!! Great work and happy building
  13. Wow, fantastic MOC, the detail is incredible. I love the under the water shot, very clever, and as Eurotrash said, the spilling gunk out of the barrel is brilliant! I also love the car half in the water rotting away, great detailing! The whole thing is really well done and I love the twist with the boy learning the very hard way that he should not be any where near that water!! Great MOC and happy building
  14. Very interesting building I really like how you've set the entrance back, that is quite unique for a modular building, and the façade remains interesting as well! The interior works well with very nice detail too! Great work and happy building
  15. Firstly, thanks for making the program, its potential is excellent!! Ok, so I've probably done something wrong, but it seemed to be working fine and then it gave me the html report and didn't do anything else. I used a BL wanted list upload and am using ver 0.85. Have I missed a step? Was I correct in thinking it should give me a list of stores to potentially purchase from? The html report is interesting to see what bricks are more/less available but without knowing what the stores it's a bit useless to me.... Any help much appreciated
  16. Looks good and nice roller door! How many times have you rolled it up and down since finishing it....? I look forward to more, happy building
  17. Very nice little train station, I love the roof and the colour scheme works really well! I like the stickers too, you haven't gone over board with them, they're just right Great job all around and happy building
  18. Huge and amazing details there. Fantastic building all around. I'd love to see it brick built but I assume that won't happen Happy building
  19. HAHAHAHAHA!! That's very true! Anyway, *ahem* um the posters look great!! I do tend to agree with the Lego Dr tho, they look great with the light coming in but not quite as good when the building is stacked. I think the plain white posters will look fantastic though! And I also think if you managed to light the inside of the cinema the transparent posters would look sensational!! Either way, great job with them and I look forward to updates :D happy building!
  20. Wow really impressive MOD! I too really like both sets of bay windows, especially the two story one on the left! Unfortunately I missed out on the HH, I would have loved to make a modular building out of a HH set. I also love the deck (in Australia we would call it a verandah) out the front, really gives life to the front of the house and the section where the roof meets the house looks very realistic! Fantastic work all 'round!!! I look forward to seeing the interior and the other 'big plans' you have in store! Happy building
  21. Both of these are great little builds! And fantastic parts usage, I love the yellow bike with the track switch part, really well done! Happy building
  22. They look fantastic. I did similar for my custom modified 10182 cinema but not with the transparent stickers. When I bought the sticker sheet the transparent one was so much more expensive I couldn't quite justify spending the extra dough! But yours look great!!! Here's how mine turned out: Well done and happy building
  23. Once again another brilliant building from you! I love the colour scheme and the general façade. The interior is also very good, I love the artwork and the kitchen is so simple yet very detailed, very well done. The wooden deck out the back is lovely touch as well! Well done (again) and happy building
  24. Yeah the window and the wall decorations are really well done. And they do look like a motley crew! Very well done!!
  25. Very nice looking building with fantastic interior, my favourite bits are the coffee table, the shower and bedroom cupboards, all very clever!! Well done and happy building
