Lovely builds both of them! I love the angles of the roof in the larger model, very cleverly done in both models though. I too love the corners of the house and the great use of SNOT throughout the build! Great work and happy building

I've just skimmed through this whole thread and it's quite awe inspiring. I am so jealous of you guys having PaB walls and LEGO stores.... To be able to go to a store every week and see what's on the wall would be amazing! I get excited enough sorting through my BL orders, but this would on another level! I hope one day a LEGO store will open up in Australia, til then I will have to live vicariously through all of your booty and BL....

I am not currently a LUG member, but have thought recently of joining one, although I'm not sure how healthy the LUG is in my area, I get the impression it's not doing so well but I would love to join in! I would love to help out online, any way I could really. I'm mainly into Town (modulars, City and Trains)..... :D just ask and I'll help

Awesome train there, as said before the detailing is exquisite. If you had said I made a train and it's all grey, I would have thought how boring, but there is nothing boring about this design, all the details and features make it really pop despite the mono-tone colouring!! And I love Golden Eye so it's  Excellent job and happy building

Great MOC, it's a fantastic resemblance to the real thing! I love the windows with the arches over the top, it makes it look very grand! Great work and happy building

Looking good LT, and it fits into your layout very well! That must be pretty big by now with that store added! I too love the air con unit, very modern and the light looks great too! You put so much detail into your interiors, they're always really good I look forward to the next instalment, happy building

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
timmyc1983 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I have mine set out in a layout all in a row with my MOCs/MODs in amongst the official modulars. I think that's how they look best if you have the room, all in a row with 'streets' in between the corner buildings where necessary. Table/s placed against the wall sounds like the go Here's mine: -

LDD MOC: Club Car for the 7938 Passenger Train
timmyc1983 replied to Lazarus's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Yeah I love this design. It suits the other carriages really well and by the looks of it you have made the interior match the old club car very well, very well adapted! I look forward to seeing it brick built, happy building -
Very well put together with lots of great details. I think the houses are my favourite part, but that's mainly 'cause I'm partial to great houses The tanks look good too tho, I like how you can see the smaller one has degraded over time, that really well done! Great work and happy building

Bears don't like mushrooms, but they like humans Great little scene, made me chuckle Happy building!

Very nice build and as usual the details in the interior is wonderful! I look forward to more soon, happy building

Very impressive building. The detail both inside and out is exceptional, the exterior has a very imposing feel to it which you would expect a bank to have, and the interior is very well laid out. And I love the detail you have put on the roof too! I would love to see this brick built, it would be one hell of a modular. But I dare say at 4000+ pieces this will never see the bricks?? Do you plan to brick it?? Great work and happy building

REVIEW: 71002 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11
timmyc1983 replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Another fantastic review of what looks to be another fantastic series of CMFs. I am relatively new in the CMFs business and generally look to just buy the figures I like in each series rather than blindly collect all 16. However, your photos of all 176 minifigures is hugely impressive and I'm extremely jealous I am very excited about the gingerbread man, the grandma (especially for the cat), the scientist, the jazz musician and the yeti. Thanks very much for your review and I look forward 1st September for the Australian release....- 117 replies

All modular buildings in LegoSjaak's Layout 31 July 2013
timmyc1983 replied to LegoSjaak's topic in LEGO Town
Very impressive. Will this be their final positions or is it a bit of a work in progress?? They certainly add to the hustle and bustle of your city! I can't wait for more updates happy building! -
Awesome tower! I particularly like the detailed interior, especially the control room, awesome details! And the octagon is very clever, it looks great! Fantastic job and happy building
-
I love your layout, very good mixture of the modulars and the old sets and your MOCs in the retro style!! I see you have done a modification to the Octan Service Station, I would love to see some more pics of that if you have them. That was my favourite set as a kid and I was thinking of adding a back to mine too!! Anyway, I hope there will be more updates in the future? Happy building
-
I love this addition, it all looks really good. I love the woodwork affect and the barrels are a great touch. As everyone else has said the trailer/water effect is very clever too, as is the chap tipping the water out, very well done!! I look forward to the next update! Happy building

It's very nice, looks very cosy the whole scene looks excellent! I look forward to more soon, Happy building
