I'm not familiar with the comic, but your build is outstanding. I love the way you combined old and new grey with classic space blue. This MOC deserves the frontpage

The Erradikor 7 is directly inspired by the French Sillage comics from Jean-David Morvan & Philippe Buchet. Eurobricks member Veynom has created a fantastic brickbuilt version, combining classic space blue with new and old grey. It's well worth checking out in the SciFi Forum.

You've captured it quite well in such a small scale. I would love to see a brick built version

[TC7] Bandits - Lights Out
Jim replied to jono rocky's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Very nice work! You've captured the spirit of the contest. For those of you thinking "this vehicle doesn't change into another vehicle". That's correct, but it has sufficient transformation in the chassis and there's a lot going on. Nice work! -
[MOC] Hummer H2
Jim replied to Fanylover's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have frontpaged your MOC! You have managed to capture the essense of the Hummer in such a small scale. Great work. These new-ish wheels fit the Hummer very well. -
Who says a Technic Hummer needs to be big?! Check out this 1:19 scale Hummer by one of our newest members Fanylover.

Welcome to EB! I'd like to mention that EB is an adult site, which means you need to be 18+ in order to join. We make exceptions for members who act maturely. However, publicly stating that you are under age is not a wise thing to do. So please remove your age and act maturely Thanks

We don't need this kind of comparisons on EB! Please refrain from calling people with Schizophrenia "bat- s@#$ crazy"....period! Not only here. And a more general comment; do we really need a separate topic for this? We had this conversation in the 2015 Discussion and Speculation topic. Let's keep it there. Basic conclusion is that nobody knows why.

Hi Paul, Sorry that you feel this way, but we try to maintain a uniform policy here at EB. This means that your first post needs to have (most of) the necessary information, instead of linking to external resources. Why don't you create a Youtube channel, upload your videos and link to your blog, EB, Facebook, etc. This also reduces traffic to your own site, which is always beneficial. Same goes for pictures. As Pandora mentioned, you can use Bricksafe, Flickr or any other service to host your pictures. From there you can get almost any size you want. I think you need to reconsider whether using your Blog as the central source of your content is the best approach. Sites like Youtube and Flickr exist for a very good reason and hosting content is one of them. You know I won't ban you for something like this, but I hope you understand that I need to treat you like I treat other members.
-
Hi Paul, I have said this to other members as well, and it applies to you too; can you embed the pictures and video in the first post, instead of constantly linking to your blog. Eurobricks' purpuse is not to redirect people to their own blog/site. The information should be available in the original post. Of course you can have a link to your blog (which you already have in your footer), but there's no need to add extra links. And can you make sure your images are 800 wide (or 1024 if you wish, but not wider than that)? Thanks for understanding.

I always search Markplaats and try to find a reliable seller. http://link.marktplaats.nl/a1017095389 I have no experience with this seller, but it might be worth contacting him.
-
It depends on your country. In The Netherlands I can get both sets for 159 euro (pre-order offer for the 42043), although the normal price for the 42043 will be around 179. (this is based on online shopping prices, not retail)
-
Don't exaggerate. They are pretty much in the same price range. The 42043 is a bit more expensive, but defintely not twice as expensive. As dr_spock suggested; read the review of the 42009 and compare it with the 42043, based on this review. Only you can determine what's important to you.

Your pictures can be Your images are fine for EB, so please add them to your post instead of just adding a link.
-
Why can't you embedthe pictures? 800 wide is perfectly fine, as you can see below. So please embed the images in your post, instead of constantly linking to your MOCpages page. You can add a link to your post, but do include the images in your post. EB's purpose is not to link to another site. Your model does look great by the way.

[MOC] Yellow Truck
Jim replied to damjan97PL's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
When you make a post, please add some content. Say you like the MOC and why you like it. Don't just post "Instructions?". That doesn't anything to the conversation. Nice work Damjan! The front of the truck indeed looks good. And you have added plenty of functions I have embedded the video. -
Pneumatics General Discussion
Jim replied to 9v system's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
This can definitely be an interesting topic, but since you created the topic, why didn't you start by showing some tips and tricks?! You haven't contributed anything to your own topic. There's lots of stuff to find on EB, Youtube, Bricklink (parts), so you could have easily taken 5 minutes to come up with some content. -
Please use an image service like Bricksafe or Flickr to embed images. Creating a topic without pictures doesn't add value and needs to be avoided.
