Seductrix
Jim replied to Jeroen Ottens's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
This is a great model. Absolutely stunning. However, I don't see any transformations on the chassis/car. In the discussion topic I have stated it needs to be more than guns popping out, which is exactly what this car does. To be honest; this feels like a MOC, modified to enter the contest. So for now, I won't accept this for the contest, sorry. I know you can do better than this -
Technic General Discussion

It probably fits better in the Special Themes forum. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showforum=92 Do post a link in this topic, when you are done. I'd like to see the result and I don't visit the special themes forum frequently. -

I used to have a remote, but I lost it (?!). It's probably in the pocket of old pants somewhere. Since I lost it, I use the 2 second delay too. Works perfectly -
Small colored custom decals are allowed. Smaller tires on largers wheels is allowed too.

The Volvo looks great on the glass plate. I also tested with reflecting PVC. The results weren't that good. Maybe I need to try a glass plate too. Very nice -

There are no size limits. But you said it was getting too big -

What mode do you use? Do you shoot at 100 ISO? It would be nice to see a comparison shot using the same model and the same background. (both pictures are fine btw) -

Exactly! Always use ISO 100 (using a tripod) and let the camera decide the shutter time. Don't use auto ISO. Definitely true. Although a prime lens doesn't mean it's expensive. I use the cheapest 50mm prime available and it's tack sharp PS nice pic of my favorite Dutch city -
Which part of "let's stick to the 2015 sets", didn't you understand? Take it to the Technic Pub if you will.

Nice work so far. And a great idea I might be an idea to scale it down a little bit and make it more compact. -
LEGOception I have embedded the videos. Nice work on this project. This is quite an achievement. Great to see you have used different kind of techniques and equipment to get this machine working.

I'm glad I made the same arrangement as Mahjqa and you But let's stick to the 2015 sets, before this turns into an entirely different topic

Mostly grey is not what I am looking for. Grey can be a supporting color, not the main color. This means the bodywork definitely needs to contain more color than grey. I'm sorry if this limits you, but one exception leads to another.

Don't minimod topics. Use the report button instead. A poll is a good idea! I will create one tomorrow.

Hi, I removed the "LEGO Ideas Project" from the title. It's okay to post a topic on EB and mention it's LEGO Ideas, but putting it in the title feels like blatantly promoting your project to get votes. Enough with the negative comments, now for the positive ones; I saw this MOC on Facebook this morning and it really caught my attention. Very nice creation. I own the yellow Murcielago (which is a great set) and this could very well be an official set too. I will move it to Creator, since I feel like it belongs there more than in Technic.

Closed on request of OP. -
I think I need to deny this request. I don't know where it ends, so let's stick to grey, white or black.

There's actually a M.A.S.K. project on LEGO Ideas. http://www.agentsofmask.com/2015/02/support-this-thunderhawk-project-on.html

Have you ever seen a Feller-Buncher? I bet not. Here's one made entirely out of Technic LEGO. Check out this great machine, with equally great presentation.
