While I'd presume most train fans would rather see an all new Creator Expert train set, I myself would love to see a re-release of the Emerald Night! How about though, instead of just merely a complete remake, how about a recolored remake of the set? Perhaps the set could be recolored in either Earth Blue or Dark Red, with a corresponding altered name also (Sapphire Night as opposed to Emerald Night, for instance). If that were to happen though, I'd like to see the locomotive come with both large and small wheels in colors matching the main color scheme, as opposed to simply black wheels.

For the first group, I went with the S3 Elf and then the S12 Dino Tracker for the second group.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
That's not a bad idea, but wouldn't there still be an opportunity for such a set for the normal DC SuperHeroes theme? Perhaps that could be the place to slip in a "Krampus Bat" figure, even though the set wouldn't be branded under the TLBM theme. -

Hands on? As in you've actually seen and handled some of next year's City sets? Are they from next year's Mining subtheme?- 991 replies

Lioness? Mysterious moulded animal
Digger of Bricks replied to AmperZand's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yep, you've got a 2018 Mountain Lion there from next year's City Police sets, that's pretty cool! Check #legoleak on Instagram, dig a little and you'll see what I'm talking about. -
Classic Space Train, Space Train, SPACE TRAIN!
Digger of Bricks replied to Feuer Zug's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Fun idea! I've seen many Classic Space themed monorails in the past before, but traditional trains are not seen too often for the theme, especially when done as a rolling mobile base.- 4 replies

The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
Digger of Bricks replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Hey Cap, welcome to Eurobricks! I've just checked out your Ideas project, and I like the concept's modular formula and constructive storyline format. I do think those qualities could make the project potentially attractive to the Ideas staff if the project were to reach the 10K milestone. By the way, I really like the torso designs on the space colonist figures. Also, are those Atlantis helmets of theirs painted? Well, 2017 has been good to us in that respect, with about three different canopy/windshield recolors in Trans-yellow for this year. https://brickset.com/parts/colour-Transparent-Yellow/year-2017- 991 replies

For the first group, I just had to go with TLNM Misako. I don't why particularly, I just really like that figure for some reason. For the second group, I went went the S11 Evil Mech, primarily because I really dig his helmet and Blacktron I armor. The rest of the figure though I find a bit too over embellished in printing. The S1 Spaceman and S12 Swashbuckler were tempting though, if only the Swashbuckler were a Zorro figure.

It would cool to have a "sheepish" grin type emoticon, a big open mouth smile with blushed cheeks. Also, how about a "SPACESHIP! Face" Benny emoticon, something like one of these two examples shown below.

Well of course they did, as they do with nearly all TV show and TT (Traveler's Tale) game animations. The cinematic movies (The Lego Movie, The Lego Batman Movie, The Lego Ninjago Movie) on the other hand, work within the confines of a faux stop motion animation style, though the latter two movies did cheat to a degree. For instance, TLM's figure animation did not allow their solid plastic components to bend or flex fluidly, and kept their motions limited to as far as joints would allow them to move. The TLBM and TLNM on the other hand, completely disregarded the figures' jointed limitations, and made a few exceptions in the solidity of some otherwise static plastic parts (e.g. Batman's cowl). For continuity's sake, I hope that 2019's sequel to TLM retains the animation style seen in the original film, unlike its two spinoff movies. But, if minidolls are to possibly appear in the sequel, perhaps they would have to adopt the spinoffs animation methodology.

If there were a steady stream of Post-Apocalyptic MOCs from multiple EB users, yes, but perhaps instead it should be a subforum of the Sci-Fi forum. Also, I think it would be more of a Alt. History subforum like @Littleworlds had suggested, encompassing Earth set subgenres such Cyberpunk, Steampunk, Dieselpunk, Atompunk, Decopunk, Teslapunk, DaVinci-Punk, this-punk, that-punk, and on and on. Basically, anything not set in Space or other planets/worlds other than Earth.

I didn't think we'd ever get a figure like that bathing guy in a City set. He's seems like a figure we would otherwise see in a CMS. I sure hope he has dual molded legs, because otherwise... Aren't you talking about one of the 2018 Creator sets?

I was just expressing my uncertainty, since the user I quoted said to take the rumor with a "grain of salt"; so whoever his source is, the user himself is not quite certain about it. Also, many people on the topic are finding the concept of a modular compatible train station to be not quite feasible, so there is uncertainty in the rumor in that regard too.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
Digger of Bricks replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
After looking at the close up picture, the torso printing is not as elaborate as it initially seemed, therefore making the figure a bit more plausible for a Juniors set. Also, his alternate expression is quite nice, just as a calm, confidant smile. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Digger of Bricks replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I do think TLG may be considering the franchise for the distant, if not near, future. As of now, for instance, there are two Flintstones based Ideas projects with 5000+ votes making their way to the 10K threshold; and Warner Bros. has a animated Hanna Barbera cinematic universe in the works, with its first entry, a Scooby Doo movie, slated for 2020. -
That's a beast of a locomotive, and such a nice, clean looking design also!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Digger of Bricks replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well, licensed/branded offshoot CMSs certainly now take up the bulk of each year now, so I'm grateful we are at least seeing one traditional CMS a year now. Regarding a hypothetical Scooby Doo CMS though, I think instead if we were to see such a line, a broader Hanna Barbara CMS would be a much more ideal scenario. -
Survey: New parts and new colors
Digger of Bricks replied to Bonaparte's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I would like see a rounded corner brick with a two by two footprint and the height of one brick, which would be the smaller counterpart to part no. 88293 (pictured below on the left). Its slope would correspond to that of part no. 6091 (pictured below on the right). I have a few of those canopies, even one in Trans. Purple from a Year Two Ninjago set. For some reason though, I've never liked the design of that piece, even though I not sure why. It might just the length of it I'm not fond of, so perhaps a shorter version of that canopy might be more appealing. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Digger of Bricks replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Unless they completely skip it for a year, the September slot has to be filled by a traditional non-licensed CMS (a.k.a. Series 19). -
Say, that's pretty cool! It may be a land based mech, but given its avian inspiration, this thing looks like it's going to fly! I like the way the legs can crouch down for entrance and exit.

If it is true, it most definitely is a good thing, since a modular train station would call for a complimentary Expert series train set!
