That net shooter is quite goofy. I mean, how many police vehicles do see driving around your community with something like that mounted on the back? Other than that, its a rather fine set build wise. Besides the fact it has a prison shirt underneath, I really like the robber's bomber jacket torso, and I can't complain about that new dirt bike helmet!

LEGO Sci-Fi 2017 Pictures and Rumors
Digger of Bricks replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
There is now a leaked image on Instagram of the Bat-Spacesuit to be seen in 2018's TLBM Bat-Spaceshuttle set, which comes with a Black recolor of the helmet/airtank headgear part from the Atlantis theme and a very nice set of Black legs with some great Dark Bluish Grey armor prints. Both have some good reusage potential for either Blacktron I or II. -

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Just found it on Instagram. While I am excited about the Black recolor of the Atlantis helmet/airtank headgear part, I'm even more anxious to see this figure's torso prints, especially after seeing what its leg printing looks like. Most of all, I hope this figure will have a fusioned Classic Space/Bat-emblem smack dab in the center of the chest. Well whatever remaining Batsuits we may potentially get in this third wave, Lego might just opt to give us even more wacky variants, simply because there will never be another opportunity to introduce such variants. Same here! Do you have any immediate reusage ideas for either of those yourself? -
When I find a builder I like on Flickr, checking out their favorites will send you down quite the rabbit hole, turning up many amazing creations and fan builders whose work you have never even seen before. Then you end up checking their favorites and tumble even further down the rabbit hole, losing an incredible amount of time in the process. When you've burned yourself out endlessly browsing around Flickr, Pinterest can be another great site to lose yourself in, especially when are looking for inspiring non-Lego concept art and illustrations, usually based upon whatever pet genres and art subjects you take a particular liking to.

Oh my gosh, that didn't even register as Lego to me there for a second! Those eyes and expression, I mean, that's the most personality I have ever seen expressed in a creation before! I'm just simply gobstopped! Brilliant work, especially in your reusage of constraction Chewbacca's parts!

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Oh man, I would just LOVE a Gotham by Gaslight Batman! After all, Gaslight Batman was seen as a suit variant in TLBM, so who knows? But, I think that Vacation Batman's cowl would be a better choice for such a figure, albeit with recolored goggles. The "Nightwing" cowl may have more appropriate rounded goggles unlike the vacation cowl's oval ones, but you just can't get past that jilted angle. Exactly! Otherwise, the Nightwing cowl would be just perfect. But, that would just make it a new mold altogether anyway. It's more of an issue of what would they be able to do the hat/hair/cowl piece after the fact; where as if Lego did it right the first time, they would have done a plain old Jamaican hat/dreadlocks piece to top a printed Bricktober style cowl printed head. With this piece however, it's just a dead end. -
Wow, Random.org gave you five entry level priced sets and one large pirate ship? Gee, that's a hard decision.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Oh, I was talking about TLBM Robin/Dick Grayson's hairpiece and glasses mold, juxtapostioned to the short eared cowl and glasses mold seen in the Joker Manor set on "Nightwing" Dick Grayson. The part is more likely than not a solid single mold, as opposed to a new hat/hair mold which slips over the preexisting long eared cowl piece. Even if that latter situation was the case, it would be conforming around the shape of the cowl, therefore not being able to normally stud down onto a minifigure head. -
LEGO Nexo Knights 2018
Digger of Bricks replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I've now seen the figure, and yeah, it is quite "Chima-y" like you had said. One thing I'm surprised about is that this armor has no dual molded Trans. Neon Orange shoulder pads or accents. Like most of these highly specific new minifigure gear parts, I hope that Lego will try to incorporate them into as many other themes as they can after Nexo Knights has inevitably run its course.- 1,601 replies

Well, that headgear piece I think has a lot more potential for reusage compared to the "Nightwing" cowl. For instance, it could work great for a nerd/geek archetype for the normal Collectable Minifigure Series line. I'm hoping to see the utility belt part used much more in the future beyond the TLBM theme. Particularly, I would like to see the part recolored in Gold sometime soon. -

Same thing can be said for that cowl/glasses headgear mold used by "Nightwing" in the Joker Manor set. If it weren't for that intentional jilted angle set for comedic effect, the part could have reused as another cowl/googles variant, much like CMS Vacation Batman's cowl. -

Dang, does that Firestarter Batsuit have a Dark Red cowl? If so, that's pretty cool! Now as far as Reggae Man goes, that cowl is unfortunately just a one and done mold. Lego could have just opted for a hat and dreadlocks piece with a printed Bricktober style head, therefore making the headgear much more versatile for usage beyond its intended purpose. I really hope to see an image of the BatSpacesuit soon, particularly a shot of its torso print, if you know what I'm getting at. -
LEGO Ideas Discussion

If the rule were to apply to all animals (real or otherwise), I guess that could mean for instance that a medieval fantasy project focused on a knight slaying a dragon would be considered "cruelty to animals". -
Lego themes that we would like to happen
Digger of Bricks replied to YellowCorvette's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thanks to Mattel, this would most unfortunately be an impossibility, but I'd really love to see Lego return to the Thomas the Tank Engine licence. Ideally, a two separate System based lines could be done. The first would be a Juniors subtheme, made up of around five to six sets a year utilizing the narrow gauge track introduced in 2009's 7199 The Temple of Doom. Each set would feature a brick-built location, at least one engine with cars, and several lengths of narrow gauge track. Most importantly, such a subtheme would potentially introduce highly desired narrow gauge straights and even switches/crosstrack. The second line would be most simply a annual L-Gauge D2C theme for older builders, with a single set released each year. No track would be included for cost's sake, just a single character locomotive with a pair of cars, trucks, or coaches for them. Also, about five to six exclusive figures in period set attire would ice the cake quite nicely. Such a D2C line would also definitely supply train fans with both recolored locomotive wheels and potentially new midsized locomotive wheels. A Racers revival would definitely open many more doors for experimental subthemes than Speed Champions could. I mean, Speed Champions could evolve, but Lego doesn't seem like they are interested in expanding the theme beyond licensed minifigure-scaled supercars. I guess D2C Expert scale cars, non-licensed minifigure scale sport cars, Technic supercars, four-wide cars, and others have all simply been relegated to already preexisting themes such as Technic, City, and Creator. There just wasn't a place for licensed minifigure scale cars though, so hence was born Speed Champions.- 451 replies

I'm thinking that at least one of those Creator D2Cs has to pertain to the System's sixtieth anniversary next year. Well, at least I hope that's the case.
