Disney Movies and TV Shows Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Oky's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Here's the first teaser for Disney Pixar's Incredibles 2. It doesn't though give us much of a preview of what to expect from the upcoming Juniors sets next year, so we'll just have to wait a little longer for that. -
Does anyone know how to move or delete a quote in the post editor in desktop format? I saw there was a discussion on this topic earlier pertaining on how to attempt this on mobile format; and even then, it was said to be difficult.

Rhino? Is that the name of another Wakandan vehicle like the Royal Talon Fighter, or is it the actual animal? -

The question is, what would a minidoll space theme look like? I've heard many people say that Elves is in a way a minidoll castle theme of sorts. So if Elves is to Castle what Friends is to City, what would the look, style, and storyline of a minidoll based space theme be like? Would it have a more realistic, STEM-like approach to sci-fi, or would it more be in the vein of high fantasy like the Elves theme? Personally, if such a theme took after the colorful look and retro style of the Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon comic strips of the 1930's, then I'd be sold. Given the colorful style of Elves and other minidoll themes, colored canopies would most likely be a given for such a theme!

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I sort of wish we instead got something more like a "Bat" take on Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! That just would have been sweet. -
Other than the few official winter wave images we've seen so far, we've also seen preliminaries of the other winter wave sets that haven't yet been seen officially, and none of them would fit into that subtheme. So perhaps there may be a chance for such a set come summer 2018, but so far, we haven't heard of any rumored details for those yet. Maybe after the release of official images for the rest of the winter wave will we hear of some details for the summer wave. Now EB user Sir von Lego has already shared details for summer's sets for the City theme, perhaps he would be the one to ask. Edit: By the way, here's JANGBRiCKS's review of 31071 Drone Explorer.

If it indeed is a new print, and also therefore a newly set precedent, that really opens up a whole lot of possibilities for the future of the theme! As you may know, many people would love to see classic themes represented in Creator, both Expert and Non-Expert. Since the theme though has traditionally utilized whatever stock minifigure components that TLG has on hand from other themes, that has been a limitation for that possibility for the most part. So..... Are you listening @x105Black? You know what really got me, was the dual functioning purpose of the spare wheel on the hood of the main build in 31075 Outback Adventures. That was just freaking brilliant!

In order of first to last, I ended up choosing the S13 King, the TLNM N-Pop Girl, the S11 Constable, the S15 Clumsy Guy, the S10 Grandpa, and TLM Wiley Fusebot.

That's the thing, Classic Castle has better chances of returning after Nexo Knights runs down than Classic Space seems that it ever will. With multiple "Star Wars Story" movies taking up the gap in between every other year there isn't a main saga movie, and with the recent announcement of another trilogy on the horizon, I think we can safely say that we may never see another proper Space theme at this rate.

The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
Digger of Bricks replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Well, 2016's 41130 Amusement Park Roller Coaster was in a way Space themed, as were many of the other attraction sets in that subtheme, many of them featuring a stylized spin on the Classic Space logo as graphics stickers.- 991 replies

Wait a minute, after looking at his stunt plane review again, does that figure feature a new torso print? If so, has that ever been seen before in a three in one Creator set?

LEGO Nexo Knights 2018
Digger of Bricks replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Much like Chima, I'd suspect there will be a final "wrap up" wave slatted for summer next year, with probably no more than three sets. Now if that were the case, I'd just hope they wouldn't be as lackluster those three in Chima's final wave. After that, it's hard to imagine what Lego would have in store for a "big bang" successor theme. I'd just hope it wouldn't be something like Chima.- 1,601 replies

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
All the sets are pretty good build wise in their own ways, as most cinematic sets usually hold a higher standard of build quality compared to other themes. In the Anniversary Party set, I'm really digging Superman's jovial expression, and the classic Green Arrow figure is nice to have. As far as the Shuttle sets goes, its kind of disappointing that the front part of the craft has the Bat-emblem printed onto it, but at least we get the complementary windshield part in Trans-yellow to use elsewhere. In Harley's Cannonball Truck, it looks like Gentlemen's Ghost ends up using Penguin's top hat recolored after all. Besides, we didn't need another similarly new mold anyway. The only set though I like as a whole without picking it apart is Egghead's Mech. It's not so much the figures I care about, just that squatty, cool mech. Oh, and sunny side up eggs are certainly fun to have. -
In order of first to last, I chose the S13 Sheriff, the S17 Elf Maiden, the S7 Viking Woman, the S6 Leprechaun, the S6 Clockwork Robot, and the S12 Fairytale Princess.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Digger of Bricks replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I know I've said this before, but if this Harry Potter theme and CMF line also includes material based upon the Fantastic Beasts movie and its sequel, then at least we'd obtain some 1920's-1930's minifigure attire prints for period set repurposing, which would be the only good thing I would hope for from this theme. That or at least loads of bricks in desirable rare recolors and/or a Expert scale Hogwarts Express. -
The initial film didn't do great at the domestic box office on its opening week back in 2013; but it was only because of its success at the Chinese box office after the fact that we ended up getting a sequel as a result. While I don't remember finding any minifigure Jaegers creations before myself, there were these "microfigure-scale" ones someone else pointed out to me by EB user @toothdominoes, which utilize those two-part cockpit assemblies from the Nexo Knights battle suits. It would be cool if some of the CMFs were more pertinent both the System's sixtieth and the minifigure's fortieth anniversary. Some relevant archetypes could include a Lego set designer, an AFOL, updated versions of classic minifigures, and, although it would be more specific as opposed to an archetype, a minifigure of Ole Kirk Christiansen.
