  1. There's been much discussion over on the topic for City regarding this new line of polybags: The Brick Fan - New LEGO xtra Accessory Polybags Found So, does anyone see any potential in this line for other themes, particularly Friends?
  2. I highlighted this project over on the general Fairground set discussion topic soon after I discovered it! Best of luck to you on your journey to 10,000 supporters!
  3. Man, I really do hope so! I love themes like this, ones with a broadly encompassing scope that is!
  4. Someone should start a discussion topic (or at least a wishlist one) for this new line, as I can't imagine what this theme couldn't cover, given its seemingly broad nature!
  5. He never said anything about any particular year, only the potential for such in the undetermined near future.
  6. Here's yet another collaborative CMF draft by @just2good with renders by @Ashnflash!
  7. Not unlike Thomas the Tank Engine too, except that franchise was never conceived solely for the sake of toys.
  8. Unless there are any other D2C sets expected on the horizon for this year (some UCS Star Wars set perhaps?), that could very well be our second confirmation of a Creator Expert automobile set for this year.
  9. It just has to be an upcoming Creator Expert set he's referring to. Here's that section of the interview by the way:
  10. Here's a parts-centric review of the Rollercoaster for anyone interested: New Elementary - LEGO® CREATOR 10261 ROLLER COASTER
  11. For a Technic set, I think it looks like a pretty solid build as far as exterior aesthetics go, and I do dig their color scheme choice of Earth Blue and Dark Azure!
  12. I've always felt that European brands and/or source material were chosen for their broader appeal, as perhaps American and Japanese brands may alienate other global audiences.
  13. Ooooh, now this is a new theme I'll be keeping a close eye on! I wonder if it will encompass a broader range of themes besides City seemingly?
  14. What a beauty! It's like a British take on the Assembly Square, only that this one still sits upon a 32×32 baseplate. Not only do I love all the attentive exterior and interior detailing, the inclusion of that staircase between the two is pretty cool to see in a modular creation!
  15. Didn't you or @rob-ot5000 say something about a potential Rebirth variant of Superman a little while ago?
  16. Hey @SheldonF, get this: Apparently the designer for the upcoming LEGO Ideas Pop-Up Book had this to say regarding the rejection of the Jaguar E-Type Roadster project in a new interview: New Elementary - LEGO® IDEAS POP-UP BOOK: EXCLUSIVE SAMUEL JOHNSON INTERVIEW Bottom line is, I think that may at least be confirmation that we'll see another Creator Expert car this year! P.S. By the way, what do you think about changing the subject of this topic to one dealing with the Creator Expert automobile line in a broader sense, as opposed to just the year 2018? Over on the Town subforum, there are general discussion topics for the Modular Building and Fairground lines, but I don't think there's yet a general discussion topic for the Creator Expert automobile line.
  17. True, as Steampunk can be so lazily utilized and/or labeled as far as retrofuturistic/alternative historical genres go. I'd love to see that as an alternative too, but understandably, it would be less of a fantastical Pirates theme and more of a honest-to-goodness Space theme instead.
  18. The only project from this last review that I'm somewhat mourning the rejection of is the Jaguar E-Type Roadster. That could've been such a beauty!
  19. You're quite welcome, that project was submitted there just this morning by the way! Also, here's another similar project brought up at that link as a suggestion: LEGO Ideas - Pirates VS Kraken Ride
  20. Are you talking about the custom creations I shared here, or has Lego's official Ariel BrickHeadz set leaked?
  21. Are we certain that only the Red Riding Hood theme will carry on over to the final product? Could we perhaps see the option to build multiple alternate themes within the contents on the finalized set? After all, there were other narrative options presented in the pitch for the project. I certainly hope the latter will be the case! Edit: Here's a new interview @L@go did with the designer of upcoming finalized version of the project! New Elementary - LEGO® IDEAS POP-UP BOOK: EXCLUSIVE SAMUEL JOHNSON INTERVIEW
  22. The only project that I'm slightly saddened to see rejected, is the Jaguar E-Type. That certainly would've been a beauty, but I suppose that it would've fit in too similarly to the Creator Expert automobile line; so, much like many modular building projects, it may have been rejected for at least that reason alone. If he had chosen a different theme for those architectural projects besides the nautical theme again, I believe they would've had a somewhat better chance, as it seems that those at LEGO Ideas are trying to avoid approving of any projects that would take away from the individuality of past sets in the Ideas portfolio.
  23. My votes to to the Treehouse, the Flintstones, and the Vintage BMW Motorcycle as the three projects I feel to be the most likely for approval. I know many have their doubts regarding the Treehouse, but it's the only project in this review that has no ties to any preexisting line, license, or source material, hence why I think that it may be at least be strongly considered.
  24. Dang, thanks a billion for rediscovering this creation! His heightened skyline version of it is also incredible! My gosh, I really love this one! It's a full-width meets half-width meets quarter-width trifecta wrapped up in one beautiful color scheme!
