  1. So I take it that these are playsets, and not just BrickHeadz and the such? Well, those wishing for World of Warcraft and/or Starcraft sets are going to be all over that comment!
  2. Besides BrickHeadz and minifigure-based playsets, I kinda could see this being a high possibility for the license. But, having said that, I'm not quite thrilled to hear of yet another licensed partnership. Unless such news parallels announcements of new in-house themes, then I won't mind this continuous barrage of franchises.
  3. Somewhere fantastical would be where I'd wished the theme had gone, so Atlantis being explored in the 1920's would've been a pretty cool idea for a playtheme back then! Hey, taking inspiration from Jules Verne, traveling into the depths of the earth to discover lost subterranean civilizations could've been another novel idea! By the way, does anyone remember this one former CUUSOO project, speaking of subterranea? LEGO Ideas - Hyperborea
  4. Thanks for the heads up on this opportunity @leafan! I just want to tell you that the New Elementary blog is also offering a similar chance for their own readers! New Elementary - FAN MEDIA DAYS ARE APPROACHING! Also, Eurobricks members may have a similar opportunity to do so here too!
  5. Aw heck, for the love of Ole Kirk, do we not have ENOUGH MegaBlokking licensed themes already?!!! Ok, for as little as I know about this property, I at least know this line may potentially offer us some interesting parts and minifigures for others to utilize elsewhere, but... Please TLG, expand your in-house action themes beyond Ninjago before you acquire yet another license!
  6. For those who read this discussion, I'd like to know... Where would you've liked the Adventurers theme to go if it were to pick up from where it left off? So, as opposed to retreading old ground, what new horizons would you wish to see Thunder and company explore?
  7. Well, there's always the possibility that "Space" isn't what we're immediately figuring it to be. As I've said before elsewhere, "Space" may be used more abstractly given the destination the sequel's main characters are said to be heading, and that is up out from the basement and up into the upper floor of Finn's house to his sister's room. To a minifigure, that would be equivalent to traveling into "Space" for us, in terms of their cosmology.
  8. I've said this before elsewhere, but I wished that Lego had made Pharaoh's Quest a theme with with much broader horizons, much like the original Adventurers theme. If Jake Raines was to be the Johnny Thunder for a new generation, why couldn't Lego have given the line a less specific name, one that suggested a continuation of Jake's adventures if the line were a better success than they'd expected?
  9. Typically posters closely follow behind teasers/trailers within the same week, so I'm hopefully expecting to see our first teaser for the sequel attached to Solo, which is releasing this weekend. Well, given the "Space Action Musical" precedent hinted for this one, I'm expecting even less of a presence for the Classic Castle theme compared to the first movie, which strangely wasn't much to begin with then anyway.
  10. Welcome back to Eurobricks, your latest streamliner is a rare beauty! It's not often do you see streamlined steam locomotives in Lego, so I'm always thrilled when I do come across one! Indeed, as the next one really needs to be a streamlined steam locomotive, whether it be American, British, or European in it original inspiration!
  11. Cool, I'm glad this small discussion here has inspired you! Anything you have in mind as to how it may look, perhaps in terms of color for starts?
  12. Whoa, that is quite the drawing @lookl! No one out of the loop would know it otherwise, but that there's technically AFOL Lego fan art! Should be hung in an art institute gallery!
  13. Hmmm, you don't think we'll see our first teaser this weekend attached to Solo? By the way, what time gap was there between our first look at the first movie's logo and the release of its first teaser? I don't remember when we first saw the logo myself, but I do remember that the first teaser was attached to Man of Steel, which hit theaters mid-June of 2013.
  14. It has just occurred to me: Perhaps a teaser will be attached to Solo: A Star Wars Story releasing this weekend? Given that Phil Lord and Chris Miller were once attached to that movie, it would be awkwardly ironic. P.S. Don't you think we should now change the title of this topic @Robert8? Didn't you mean to say... AWESOME!!!
  15. I just love his reaction!
  16. Ah, so it has been done! Thanks a lot for finding that!
  17. Maybe, perhaps a Disneyland Sleeping Beauty Castle as a successor to the 2016 Walt Disney World Cinderella Castle could be the ticket. P.S. Have you seen this speculative CMF draft for a second Disney CMS by @just2good?
  18. OMG! The Second Part?! This just has to mean a teaser is imminent!
  19. Well, from the way it looks now, we may have a chance to see a second Disney CMS come May 2019 or September 2019. A CMS for February's sequel to The Lego Movie is a likely given, while May or September will probably give us Series 19; so whatever date that isn't taken by S19 could be where Disney Series 2 may sit. P.S. Back a few months ago, the earliest I expected to see Disney Series 2 was January 2020, as Warner Brothers' The Billion Brick Race was slated for May 2019. But now, with no director to helm the movie, we should be hearing very soon of WB's intentions to push back that movie to sometime in 2020.
  20. If anyone has any questions regarding the modular building line, the New Elementary blog is taking questions from readers which they hope they can ask to designers over at this weekend's Fan Media Days event! New Elementary - Fan Media Days Are Approaching! What a novel idea, I don't believe I've even seen anyone attempt a modular creation of that sort of establishment, so it certainly would be a first! * * Has anyone seen such a creation around before?
  21. I really couldn't see us getting more sets from this line, even though I was surprised to even see the Docks appear this year. If I were to guess, any further expansions to these two would come in the form of more "cityscape modulars" stemming from future installments of Warner Brothers' cinematic Lego universe. Perhaps we may see one or two Bricksburg sets come 2019 to tie into next year's sequel to 2014's The Lego Movie! I still wished we saw a Ninjago City like modular of Gotham City from TLBM, instead of the Joker Manor we got.
