  1. It looks really good so far, the crane also seems very big (which i think is really nice).
  2. i saw this video some time ago, i think that this will help you gezuvor.
  3. Dont worry, for a moment i thought it was an 18 too.
  4. Hi The Rebrickable, i think this would be an amazing crane truck, about the tandem axle, it is ok in that place, you would only need to put mudguards between it and the other axles, and i must say that the outrigger system is really amazing, i never saw it before, i hope it works so well as it looks, looking forward for more updates.
  5. Now a new axle, this time, for Pinzgauer-like vehicle, it is based on my previous small axle but with small modifications and with independent movement, it uses the same steering principle as ZBLJ tatra´s transmission, it is a WIP now but i will see if i can complete it and put a better suspension system: The LDD file: http://bricksafe.com/files/imanol/mini-portal-hub-axle/suspension%2005-25-16.lxf
  6. Hi again, i got some free time to upgrade the axle, about the wheels, it is supposed to use these http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3739c01#T=C https://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=2903c01#T=C, however, it could use these http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?id=47727#T=C with some modifications because the tires are too wide (at least you use the smaller ones or 3rd party narrower ones); i made the axle to fit for an small unimog, like a 401 or 411, but i think that this same axle could work, for example, for a G63 6x6 or a G500, i also tried to put steering and suspension on it, my work so far: And the updated LDD file: http://bricksafe.com/files/imanol/mini-portal-hub-axle/front%20drivetrain%2005-24-16.lxf
  7. Hi, here is another model i have made for an small unimog, it is in WIP state right now, i will give more information tomorrow: http://bricksafe.com/files/imanol/mini-portal-hub-axle/front%20drivetrain.lxf
  8. If there is anyone interested, i posted some mods for the axles and chassis, also added the LDD file if you want to build them too http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=57543&st=1875#entry2563781 (see the lower pictures).
  9. therealjustion, it happened to me too, i almost die of a heart attack when i searched for the pieces in bricklink, i hope you get all the pieces to complete the cab, i also tried to make the modded cab too to check if all worked how is thought, some of the pieces arent of the same color, or even arent there because i dont have them, for me, the unimog now seems a bit closer to the original one: i made some modifications to the chassis, the middle of it is now 2 studs wider to match the new mudguards and the wheels, this gives me the opportunity to put some "covers" for the BB´s (they should be black): EDIT: Here are some more modifications: I added 2 driving rings to the transmission, so i am able to lock both front and rear transmission separately, or unlock both and put the truck in "neutral", for manual movement (it is thought to work only with planetary gear rims, so the rings wont be under high load): I also added stabilization bars to make the mog a bit more stable, this lets me put the shock absorbers a bit closer together and it let the tires steer more without colliding the absorbers, they have 2 main functions, maintain the whole axle aligned, because it doesn't use rods, the axle wont moves sideways, the other function, of course, is to give more stability to the truck (you can add the bar and remove the absorbers to see how it works), an optional function, is that you can lock the bar, to make the axle be completely horizontal: And here is the LDD file of the chassis: http://bricksafe.com...is 05-19-16.lxf
  10. Thanks Paul, i also saw your mower, and instantly i thought in the MULAG mowers, it looks really good with those chain parts and it goes really fast, just like a real one.
  11. I have been working on a new crane for the mog, and after watching some cranes of palfinger, i decided to make an epsilon, at the first time, i was going to put the 8258 crane, but i thought it was too small for it, so i changed it a bit, the lower part is almost the same, but the upper part is completely different, and because i failed a lot of times trying to make a fully working and compact system to be the same as the Z folding system that has the epsilon, i used Efferman´s design ( http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=57372&st=50#entry1203710 ), and i put it in the upper part, with some modifications, a really basic boom extention system and a small graber, here is the pic and the LDD file: The crane has 4 large linear actuators, and the new turntable, i will make the base for it later. http://bricksafe.com/files/imanol/unimog/attachments-for-8110/epsilon%20crane%20for%208110.lxf I hope you like it.
  12. Hi, which crawler are you talking about the 41999 or the 9398, and for what i can see and imagine, you possibly misplaced a pin in the chassis and the locking pins in the top part dont get in the place, you should see in the instructions if you placed all the pins correctly in the vehicle.
  13. It looks really good and detailed, and those wheels add some kind of "futuristic" look, it also seems to work good for all the functions, nice work.
  14. Hi, i must say that i am really impressed, when i saw it, i first thought it was just a display model with no functions, but i got surprised when it is actually fully working, i must say that you made an excellent job hiding the motors and the whole chassis and suspension, and it performs really good, well done.
  15. Hi again, i was also thinking to make a really big model (in LDD), using unimog´s wheels, and 1 motor on each wheel, it would use planetary rims, so it would be strong enough and wouldnt need too much space on the structure, the steering would be done by motors inside the robot, which would be connected to the wheels platforms by U-joints, i will make an small test, an if it is enough good i will post it.
  16. Hi Roppie, i saw this suspension in the uncommon suspension tread, and like you, i found it very interesting, now, if you are going to build it, how big do you think it would be? or at least, which wheels would you use?, because i think i could help you with all the transmission system, i think that the best solution, if the model is enough big, is to make an strong structure for the suspension system, and put axles thru it, the wheels would turn with turntables, and it is possible to make it all wheel drive.
  17. Sorry for bumping, hi jippen, if you are interested in a rigger system, i have been working in a stabilization bar that also works as a rigger, once i finish it i will post it in this topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=57543&st=1850
  18. This would be the best model: Just kidding, what i would really like is a car like Ken Block´s ones:
  19. Hi, i saw the pics of the skidder and it looks really nice, you made a great work on it.
  20. Hello, i hope the pics to be uploaded soon, also, it is very interesting to me how it must look and work with NXT, i am looking forward for updates
  21. It looks fantastic, nice work Ron.
  22. I am very impressed of how well the L motors performed, as you said, we would think that they wouldn't be strong enough to move a vehicle of this size like that, and even make it go thru that kind of obstacles at high speed, but it did, it also seems very stable and the suspension system is really amazing, nice work.
  23. It looks really nice and so well designed, the balance between aesthetics and functionality is really amazing, and the instructions looks very good, nice work.
