Hi everyone, Today I'm showing you my new little MOC, the Mini 42065 Tracked Racer. I was playing around with ideas of things to build with tracks, and then thought of making a mini 42065. So I quickly build a chassis, and then build a body off of it. There are some rare pieces, like the sprockets, rubber track pieces, and a MiniZip 9V cable. Everything else should be relatively simple to find for sale. I know the colors aren't lime, but they don't make the small panels on the front in that color. I also tried to add details of the real set, like the stripes and white with red sprockets. Anyway, here are some pictures of it: Normal View ^ Side ^ Back ^ Here is the underside shot, with the surprise M-Motor! You can drive it like the real set, but only forwards and backwards. ^ Here are all the cables I use to power it. It is pretty long, so you can follow it around and change direction with the PF Switch. ^ I'll be making it more stable soon, since it is a bit flimsy right now, and I'll post pictures, so stay tuned! -
Here's my first MOC after a 17-year dark age. During that period, all that crazy studless thing happened, so I had to re-learn everything. (Also, I miss Technic figures.) The MOC was built from a limited assortment of parts that I have now, mainly 42035 Mining Truck and 42045 Hydroplane Racer. I added some of my pre-dark age parts like the wheels and the gears used as brushes. Because of the part assortment limit, the color coordination in the model isn't very good. I'm somewhat unhappy about this. The MOC is loosely based on Bucher Citycat 1000 series compact sweepers, which I often see in the streets of my city. It's not a scale model: I wanted to capture the general impression from compact sweepers. Building a true scale model in such a small scale is a task for which my building skills are too poor. More photos: Functions (no PF, obviously): - The brushes rotate while driving (non-Lego rubbers are used, but suitable Lego rubbers exist) - A fake 2-cylinder engine connected to the front axle (the prototype has a 3-cylinder engine) - Rear axle steering (the prototype can be either front-steered or all wheel steered, so for this scale I think this is acceptable) - Tipper The build is dirty for my taste (no way for an official set to be built like this), but the resulting model is quite sturdy (which I guess isn't hard anyway for models of this size). The scale is quite close for the Technic figure to fit, but I couldn't manage: there is not enough space in the cabin. The steering module was borrowed from laix's excellent Mini Mobile Crane MOC. I can highly recommend this steering, it is much less wobbly than from 8067 Mini Mobile Crane, and the steering lock is generous. The only improvement I made was adding a 1L beam on the arm connected to the HOG to reduce backlash. Partially disassembled: -
A small model I whipped up in LDD in the timespace of about 25 minutes. Based on the Eclipse Dreadnought used by the Empire around six years after the Battle of Endor. Comments? Suggestions?

(This is all my Western figures, and if this needs to be moved somewhere else, I'm sorry in advance.) Imagine the Wild West of the 1880's, but 40 years later in 1920. The spirit of the gunslinger, the sheriff and the Native American lives on still, but how do technological advances and new powers play out in the Wild West? The Blackheart Gang is a fictional train robbing group reminiscent of the Old West and are on a crime spree in early 1920. The Blackheart gang is led by the genius gunslinger the "Man in Black" whose name is not known by anyone still living. Also he plays harmonica during raids, giving clues and help to gang members in code as he does not speak much. (lower, center) This gane features other criminals such as (top row from left to right:) "Sister" Sarah: she infiltrates the train at a previous station sometimes disguised as a Catholic nun. She then makes mental notes of where the valuables and safe are kept, and how many guards their are Tuco "the rat": This man puts ties on the tracks to stop the train, then blows the track behind it. He also can blow the safe door easily, no matter how thick the metal. He also knows most locks better than most locksmiths (just in case), and keeps a running table in his head of how much dynamite he has left to use. "Hot-Lead" Luke: He takes care of any guards (permanently) and relives the passengers of their watches, gold and and cash, with help from Sarah. "Smiley" Feared sociopath, and is said to kill the train men of each train they rob, though the bodies have never been found. he also makes sure no-one looks at the robbers as they leave or tries to be a hero. These hardened railroad men are as follows: Top: Tom Hardy; senior locomotive engineer and perpetually two weeks from retiring (or so he says) Joseph Barbara; station master of the Fort Legoredo depot, always punctual and runs through life like a well oiled machine Middle: E.S. Hawkins; division manager and a bit of a eccentric. Stops by the Legoredo station every now and then and demands a train be chartered to a fictional / impossible place. He says he's serious, but in actuality he just likes to keep people guessing on his next sentence! Lower: Sidney Flattery, junior fireman of engine Number 1 and is very proud of keeping the old girl running like clockwork, even though she needs a thorough overhaul by 1920. Alex; locomotive engineer of engine 4613 and sometimes old No.1 when Tom Hardy is busy or unavailable. (this is me!) Just some local folks, including a old miner 49er, a couple ladies, the honorable Mayor Peter Johnston (with white beard, lower row) and three citizens. Just some local folks, including retired sheriff Woody, Jessie the cowgirl, the current sheriff (Rodger Walker, top row in black) two deputies (lower row), two ladies, and two citizens. Commanded by General Buford Armstrong, the garrison at Fort Legoredo is ready for anything... or so they think! These Native Americans are of the tribe displaced by the US Army and the silver miners in the Raindance Ridge area back in the 1870s. They aren't to happy about that, to say the least, though sasdly these three are the last of their tribe buy 1920. Though they are determined to get the land back, even if they have to team up with the evil Blackheart Gang to do so! This is just miscellaneous stuff for my 1920's / western figures, such as the Army cannons, Bullseye (Woody's horse) and some other four legged friends. Comments, questions, and complaints welcome!

Hi again everyone To celebrate the recent release of Solo (i must admit I have not seen it yet) I decided to build a Millennium Falcon in its honour. I decided to base it on the MINI model which came with the Lego Star Wars magazine: But in true Lando fashion I decided to pimp his ride back to the state it was in before Han got his grubby mits on her. The original model is a nice size for a mini with the saucer section six studs wide. 8 studs and you start getting a much larger model. I have changed it to white with blue, changed the radar dish to be flat, changed the gun and added the cargo pod at the front as well as a few other changes which add a bit more shape to the back section. and as usual on display with Lando planets styling and profiling: Let me know what you think. Hey all, here is something I've been working on. Its a mini Claas Xerion, black edition. Length, width and height are about half the size of set 42054. It started with an idea for turning the cab, as I want to put almost the same systeem in my bigger Xerion. (It isn't complete as I'm missing a few parts.) Building the steering systeem to get 4 wheel steering has taken the most time. Turning of the cabin. I'm also building an implement for the Xerion, which I also want to build for the bigger Xerion. After seeing Lego's 8860 modern version from 3 sets of 2017, I liked it alot, but I have no nostalgia otherwise for the 8860, while I do for the 8865. This was the first Lego "supercar" I build when I was about 8 years old. Alot of people find it ugly, but I can never hate on this model. So it felt perfect for my "tribute" to 40 years of Technic. I tried to copy as much functions from the original, I decided not to add any new functions that the original didn't have (wether I had room for that in the first place is another thing). The functions are: - 2 speed gearbox (first gear 2:1 and second gear is 1:1, of course like the original: linear) - Full independent suspension - 4 cylinder engine - Working steering wheel (sorry no HOG Lipko ) - Folding headlights - Adjustable seats Features I could not get into a model of this size were a neutral+third speed for the gearbox and a differential at the rear. I could have probably made a rear diff work, but it would mean I'd have to sacrifice the rear independent suspension and build a live axle. I decided the value of having independent suspension at the rear was of greater importance as a tribute to this model than a diff. LDD available for download here (Thanks @LvdH and @Didumos69 for the help on the LDD and the 9L liftarm in front of the model is for dash, supposed to be placed behind the steering wheel) A couple of more images: If you wonder why I didn't use the 2017 part of pinhoel with 2 axle ends on the driveshaft towards the gearbox. That was my intention, but I don't own the part yet and after mounting the gearbox on top I couldn't detect any play in that part anymore, so instead of breaking down the model to get that new part in there I decided to leave it as this. I tried to copy as many details of the engine as possible. A custom V4 engine worked best instead of the standard Lego engine parts, because I could mount the exhausts better and have the transparent red in the centre of the engine (4L lightsaber) where the original had 1x2 transparent red bricks. For the centre console I tried to mimic the original as well. I used a 3L blue liftarm as gearstick because his big brother has it too, same goes for the antenna being red for the headlights. The reason why that isn't simply an axle with a red bush is because from the front view that is visible above the dash and I don't like that. Also, when the headlights are up a bush in that position makes it harder to steer. While I can perfectly fit the mechanism on the passengers side, that felt out of place, so this looked best to me. Folding headlight, simple but effective Adjustable seat's maximum laid back position to keep a seat in its adjusted position I decided to use rubber 2L liftarms below the seats (behind the LBG bush). A little turn of that LBG bush and the seat won't move. Of course I made pictures with its big brother: Which brings me to a problem of this tribute: scale. I originally wanted to use 30.5mm tires, but that mean I'd have to make a suspension that was about 9 studs wide, 10 studs wide if I decide to ignore the fact the 30.5mm tires are far too wide to be in scale. However, I couldn't make a 10 stud wide front suspension that felt strong enough to mount the rest of the car to. While I managed a rear suspension in 10 studs, it looked very flimsy So I decided to slightly scale up my model with the use of these 37mm tires. The end result was a scale of 1 : 0.48 (sorry engineers for this crappy notation ). However where the 30.5mm were far too wide (2studs) for scale, these were a tad worse . To compensate for this I decided to make the suspension smaller in width, so that the total width with tires included would be in scale (edit: and this width is what I based the "1 : 0.48 scale" on, the tires actually needed to be 39mm to be in scale for that ratio and not 37mm, but those don't exist in any way from Lego, the next is 43mm which would be such a significant upscaling that I didn't want to do, 2mm is barely visible I think and allowed me to create a smaller model /end edit). That resulted in this 11 stud wide suspension, which was alot better to work with for mounting a body to it. Also the rear got some much needed inforcement to remove the flimsy look of the 10 stud wide suspension. So with having a scale that basically meant 2:1 it was easy to work with, for bigger sizes I used the 0.48 and for small stuff (4 studs or lower) I used 2:1. The engine is 1 stud too high in scale, but this I could not combine lower with the suspension. I am glad it it's still (just barely) under the "rear window". Hey everyone, Like many LEGO fans around the world, I've built some MOCs too for the Rebrick Mini Building Madness contest, not only because I saw the awesome prize package, but I realized that I've never built a model in this scale and I thought it would be fun. Well, yes, it was so much fun, and it was quite challenging at some points, so I think now could share my mini modulars with you. :) Grand Hotel Every LEGO city needs a hotel, where the tourists and guests can enjoy their spare time. This is actually my first ever mini modular and I really enjoyed building it. The most challenging part of it was to connect the different sections/floors. You can see all building techniques that I've used on the last image below. I built some bits of the ground floor and 1st floor using SNOT techniques and the roof is actually completely built upside down. Erling's Café This is my 2nd and unfortunately last entry to this contest. I think this was my most challenging MOC ever, but I enjoyed every moment of it! :) Erling's Café? Yes. I've used many 1x1 headlight bricks (also known as Erling Brick after its designer) in my model, so I thought it would be a cool name for it. Oh, have you noticed the custom sticker? The inspiration for that came from the coffee shop (Assembly Square set). I've tweaked the brick built logo a little bit and made my own version. :) (Psssst, have you noticed the custom sticker?! ;) ) Not sure if I can post links here, but you can find more images of these mini modulars on Flickr.

You might have seen my Mini Modular versions of the official modular buildings. A competition made me think about creating some more Mini Modulars of my own design. This is what I came up with: The Dentist's Office This is the Mini Modular Dentist Office. Located in an old renovated house. The terrace in the back awaits the weekly AW with comfy chairs and a BBQ grill. The Hotel The Corner Block This is a small residential building in some Swedish town. (note the yellow mailbox). Well, I was not really 100% happy with the buggy I made and in that post I asked for advice on drive axles. Unfortunately as I mostly only have old pieces (pre dark-ages) I could not make most of the suspensions So I tried one that I could use (I originally wanted to make a mini front wheel drive car) and made a mini car with what I could. I'm really proud of what has turned out, the truck looks like a jeep/hummer as is so freaking cute I designed the chassis so that the bodies are interchangeable. I think that a competition where everyone is to make a body for one type of chassis would be really cool, but i'm not famous so it seems far fetched Thanks guys, <forgot to add> The reason this car is a little slow is that my family forced me to purchase rechargeable batteries meaning that the output is 7v not 9v. I would get a buwizz but that is expensive -
When the Guardians of the Galaxy movie came out, and the sets were revealed, I was really hoping they'd include a mini version of the main vehicle (the Milano, in this case), as they had with so many other movies, and I was disappointed that they didn't. When I saw the mini Milano for Guardians vol. 2, one of the first things that came into my mind was wondering if I could alter it to make it look like the large version that we got for Guardians 1. I've gotten a few ideas on how to alter the new mini set to make it look like the big one from the first movie, and I'm interested in hearing yours. So far, I color-swapped the orange pieces to "keetorange," made the canopy piece trans. light blue, and made all the fins on the edges of the wings grey instead of having four of them blue. Does anyone have any other ideas? I'm not only interested in ideas to change the front, either, the more I can make this one look like the original big one, the better.

Hi there guys, so I have finished another micro lansdcape moc. This time its the forest moon of Endor. I have tried to keep everything on a 16x16 base in keeping with my other micro landscapes. Does it look too packed though? I have been inspired by a few mocs already out there (2muchcaffine and sarah von noppenquader) but added a few elements of my own. I have built my shuttle in 'flight mode' as if it is taking off from the platform (with Luke and Vader on board!) However the wings do fold down and it fits onto the platform if I wanted to. I just prefer the composition of the piece with the shuttle higher up. This was actually a lot trickier than I thought it would be and this micro moc has gone through a lot of rebuilds to get it to a stage that I am happy with. Anyway as always would be great to know your thoughts and any advice, thanks!

Here is my entry for the TC9 challenge A MODEL It is made out of 949 parts and it has functions including but not limted to: - All wheel drive - Independent suspension on all wheels - Working gearbox - Moving V6 piston engine - Working steering wheel - Adjustable seats - Openable doors and trunk - Detailed rollcage - Sporty colors and livery - Power Functions ready The front is full of lights and LED bars Notice the massive rear spoiler, massive exhaust system and the rear diffuusor Doors and the rear boot open, showing the internal rollcage and adjustable seats Size of the car is 35,5 studs long, 20,5 studs wide and 13,5 studs high, giving a total of 9824,626 cubic studs And the usual "money shot" of the chassis. The suspension and drive use a hybrid drive system with the drive axle used like an live axle, yet wheels suspended in a independent double wishbone configuration. And finally a digital render of the detailed rollcage: Look at it go: B MODEL Rally car rebuilds into an F1 car with following functions: - Realistic working pushrod suspension - Moving V6 piston engine driven by rear wheels - Working steering wheel - Adjustable spoiler - Openable rear to - Detailed engine bay with six exhausts The F1 car is a very low and stable model Notice the rear wheel drive, rear light, the detailed diffusor and the rear springs Rear covers can open up, exposing the pushord suspension, V6 engine and the 6 exhaust systems B model is 45 studs long, 24,5 studs wide and just 9 studs high, giving it a total volume of 9922,5 cubis studs For more details please check out the following video: -

Here's my 12 axle crane, it has lowering/lifting and swing in/out outriggers, a lifting/lowering arm, lifting lowering hook, and rotating superstructure. Had some inspiration to build another little pneumatic model after thinking of my little wheel loader that I build a couple of years ago. They aren't the same scale, because I was going for a look where the small pumps look "big" on the bulldozer. So this is smaller. Functions: - Blade up/down with pneumatics - Plow up/down with pneumatics - Mini V4 engine with differential A little video: Some more pics: I wanted to use that panel for the front blade, because I think it suits it. Decided to add a little grey line to fit with the sides and break up an otherwise very yellow blade In this photo of the side you can also see the blue "chair" (2L pin joiner) that I use to contol the pump below the "chair". The blue hose above the engine is from the pump. I tried to hide the switches at the rear as much as I could, while still being easy to access. Next photo a little more up close: Used Lego's colour coding for the pneumatic hoses. Plow ready for some lifting action. Or to actually plow... You probably wonder why on earth did I want a diff in there? Well I wondered that myself as well actually a couple of time during the build, but the real life versions got it, so why not this It sure provided a fun challenge to route all those hoses around it. It's very snug, but nothing touches the gears or the engine. Thanks for watching.

Hello all, While I was waiting for my BL order for my TC10 entry, I worked on a small trophy truck. It has indepentent rear trailing arms, drive from 2 L motors, steering from a Servo motor, power from a 9 volt battery through a Minizip cable, and an Sbrick. It isn't complete yet. Good day! After watching truck trial videos on YouTube I decided to make my own . The digital version was finished one month ago , but I had to buy 8 55976 tires to build it IRL. It was completely designed in LDD , I was afraid to have some weak points , but it resulted being one of my best designs ever done . There have been very small changes - different colors of some parts & improvements on the rear cabin support & front suspension supports. download LDD file Bricksafe The truck can be powered with any studded battery box. The drive is done by worm gears and 8t gears. Thanks to that , even using 1x m-motor for drive it is quite powerful. The steering is done by another m-motor geared down 1:2. The front axles have different steering angle. The weak point is the chain drive which sometimes skips, acting like a clutch gear. The IR receiver is completely hidden inside. The rear suspension is pendular, and both rear axles are linked and supported by 9l links ( idea from ZBLJ's trial truck) The front axles are linked to the chassis and between them by 6l links , and linked to the body & between them by 9l links. I haven't came up with a good enough interior, but there's enough space for it. LDD file Thanks for reading, I will make a video soon -
I am quite a big fan of those tiny little 'micro kits' that you get in the Star Wars advent calendars (especially the ships!). I have trawled through both of my DK LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionaries and built pretty much every single set LEGO ever made in 'micro' form. The Majority of these are from the Original and Prequal trilogies, with quite a few from the Old Republic, Clone Wars, Rogue One, Rebels and EpVII- The Force Awakens.
