  1. Good clean solid looks and excellent rock crawling capacity. Good job mate!
  2. Wow that looks really cool, very convincing future spaceship. Very curious how it will look when it's done.
  3. I was thinking about an old one. Old windmills have quite intricate and large scale internal mechanics, that could be recreated to a high degree in Technic LEGO.
  4. Would love to see a fully functional Technic windmill. Would also like to see some actually floating watercraft, perhaps something like a dredger or a sailboat.
  5. 1: 10 16: 6 5: 4 2: 3 3: 2 15: 1 Thanks to everyone who participated. It was great again to see all these awesome MOCs take shape on the forum.
  6. You said it bro. Right on! TLG should listen more to it's fanbase on this.
  7. Lol, thanks. It's not a big secret. It's a cool little device I have that starts nagging me the moment I spend too much money on LEGO bricks. It's called a wife... But seriously I love her to bits.
  8. Nice setup. I see you still have that epic fire engine. Hope you keep that one in one piece. I also see you got the Kwik-E-Mart and Simsons House sets. I was so tempted to get them as well but managed to contain myself :/.
  9. Recently I tried quite a few programs for editing and finally I settled on Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. Before hand I was a bit scared of the complexity of Premiere which turned out unnecessary it's very intuitive to use and has a gentile learning curve. If the CS3 version is indeed free to use I'd surely give that a try.
  10. This is my work space and the largest part of my modest LEGO collection. The green boxes at the top contain nearly all my Technic LEGO.
  11. This is one of my favorites so far, great job!
  12. Panels are cool, they are another interesting tool to make great MOCs. Nobody likes a MOC looking like a skeleton. My only gripe with them is that they are so darn expensive on BL.
  13. Keep up the good work. A video would be appreciated.
  14. There have been a couple on this forum already...
  15. That is quite an awesome contest entry you have there, congrats. Big fan of floating material!
  16. To learn some of the building techniques i'd recommend getting some building instructions from one of your favorite builders. You will probably see that the best builders, build models that are a bit more interesting than the sets TLG makes. About sets, i'd look at getting sets that resemble the MOCs that you would like to build because those sets are likely to have a lot of useful parts for you. Personally I get most of my parts via Bricklink. When looking at the prices, some part are indeed expensive. A lot depends on the supply and demand. Colour can be a deciding factor in the price of a part. So you may want to look at that before commiting to a colour.
  17. I like it a lot. It looks and functions smoothly and realistically. Very nice.
  18. Simply beautiful! Love what you did with the chassis, very inspiring. And amazing speed for such a big MOC without using the buggy motor.
  19. Nice amount of functions for such a small MOC, looks cool as well.
  20. How good are you with electronics? The easiest way to do what you want is to increase the voltage (and disable the safety features of the motor). You may want to take a look at Philo's website: http://www.philohome.../motorcomp.htm. Of course increasing the voltage and disabling of the safety featues has some negative effects on the durability, and may result in a broken motor. It's also not a purist way of doing things. A purist way would be to combine the power of multiple motors or making the MOC itself lighter with less friction.
