  1. Some very sexy lines and aptly named :)
  2. Awesome that you took the time and effort to make these instruction. My personal favorite is the Rocket Buggy.
  3. Welcome to the forum! Great MOC you have there, beautifully photographed.
  4. Ah yes, now that you mention it, I see why that would be important. BTW thanks for working on that.
  5. As far as I can see they are composed out of technic parts, so they should be considered technic models. Similarly I would call the mindstorms models, technic models. If you compare them to mindstorms then there are some similarities: large remote controlable battery section and very large motors. However I don't see the need to classify it. Some people don't consider them technic, and they have their reasons, others do feel it's technic and they also have their reasons, but whether it's technic or not doesn't seem very pertinent.
  6. Ow wow, that is a lovely build :). That front suspension and steering setup looks so sweet!
  7. I think there are a lot of different ways to start with building a new MOC. Everyone tends to develop their own design and building process. Me personally I tend to focus on functions. So when I start to build a new MOC I tend to start with building the part of the build that is the most complex and difficult to design. Once I finished that the rest of the MOC gets build around that. For instance, I really like to build tanks with shooting mechanisms. In these tanks the turret is by far the most complicated part to build and within the turret, the shooting mechanism is the most complex. So I start with building the shooting mechanism, then come the control functions like elevation of the gun and rotation of the turret. When the turret is done the rest is relatively easy. Sometimes I also like to make some drawings both of complex mechanisms and of the exterior looks. Actually that is how I usually start. An idea pop into my head and then I make a quick drawing of the idea. Then I start building it, or better put, trying to build it. With some complex mechanisms it can take quite a few attempts before I get it right.
  8. Certainly not an easy car to model with technic. Very nicely done!
  9. Lock S-foils in attack position! :) Would like to see a video if it in action.
  10. It may be the proper place, but he is specifically looking for Technic builders; it seems to me that the post will reach the most people it applies to here. People who are interested in Technic will usually check the Technic forum, yet not everybody interested in Technic will visit the Community forum.
  11. I like it, it has character. It also reminds me a little of Mahj's work.
  12. Superbe! Just totally impressive. Never seen a LEGO MOC use a water pressure system. Great looking as well.
  13. That's a nice tough little tank you have there. Very nice first build, looking forward to your second one.
  14. Hey nice job, that MOC has some serious character and attitude :). Looks like very sturdy, stronk, red, Russian? Pretty impressive to see how well it moves across snow and other difficult terrain. The suspension seems to be very nicely balanced in accordance with the weight of the vehicle. And finally a MOC with some technic figures!
  15. Very nice accurate looking model. Impressive amount of features overall, especially like the gun recoil and aiming.
  16. Welcome back to LEGO! That is a very cool first MOC. Any chance of a video?
  17. Meh, still like ZBLJ's fox model better...
  18. I really need to get myself a cat...
  19. While I agree that Sariel made an outstanding unique video, and i wish I had thought of doing something like that, copying a good idea doesn't make it nearly as good. Also, Sariel has been at it for quite a while, he has an extensive skillset, so even if I would want to copy it, which i don't, it would be very difficult for me to it as well as he did. I think that for any serious video maker it is much more important that you try to develop your own style. In this case though i am a little jealous of Sariel for thinking about this first. I think its those evul hamsters of his who come up with all this brilliant stuff. Damn you Sariel!! And kudos :).
  20. I'd say he had a little help from the instructions of set 42025. Not saying he didn't do a good job, he did.
  21. I am really impressed by this moc, it's a complete moc, it has it all.
  22. It's quite a lovely unique creation, don't remember ever seeing anything like it.
