  1. Keep it, with a little bit of luck TLG will notice the price of these things on BL and decide they might want to make some more, so we can all profit.
  2. Missed this the first time around. Very impressive speed. Also like the motorbike a lot, good job man!
  3. That is totally awesome! I love what you did with the turret. It looks like a very well done whole now. I think this may me my favorite creation of yours yet. Looking forward to the video.
  4. Starting to look very fine indeed, keep it up!
  5. Looking to become a snappy little AFV. I like it! A question if you don't mind, what are all those gears for in the middle. I have been looking at them but i can't quite figure it out.
  6. It is clearly implied that the list is Thirdwigg's opinion only, just a few quotes from his post and the top of the blog entry: 'I present the inaugural Thirdwiggy Trophy.' 'So to celebrate the MOCs of the community here the rundown of the Top 14 creations for 2014 as judged by Thirdwigg.com. Here is how I evaluated the MOCs' It is obvious that this is just his personal list, which is quite well thought out and so deserves to be taken seriously. Of course our own lists will look slightly or radically different according to our own personal preferences.
  7. Happy New Year Aussies, Kiwis, and soon to the rest of the world!
  8. First of all, kudos to Vengit for identifying the weakest link in the PF product family and creating a very strong product to replace it. It was by far the thing i most wanted see improved in the PF lineup. I don't think there are any similar big weaknesses in the PF lineup, therefor i would prefer them sticking with the Sbrick, making it an even stronger product. They still have a lot of exciting plans for the Sbrick which i look forward to seeing realized.
  9. Sure looks like you are at the right place to me.
  10. Very good looking M6. Love the crank start mechanism, never seen that before. Good job!
  11. Contests like this one really add some spice to the forum. Thanks to Jim, all the contestants, and everyone else who helped make it possible.
  12. Isn't that a bit like comparing apples to oranges? We will see, should be interesting!
  13. I love it when compactness meets functionality, very aesthetically pleasing.
  14. 27: 10 37: 6 28: 4 33: 3 46: 2 11: 1 As with all good competitions, it was a difficult pick. Good job all!
  15. Cool build, love the wing movement.
  16. Definitely something original and inspirational, i like it!
  17. Sweet little buggy. Love the overall shape. scratched my head a bit at the rocket engine, i sure hope it has thrust vectoring because this thing will be all over the place
  18. I had to stock up a few years back, getting back into it. I still had my old technic but i wanted studless. I bought two sets to get started and to get familier with all the new different parts. When i knew what i needed, i added to it via Bricklick. Only been using Bricklink the past few years.
  19. Dear Mr. Whale, You have been at this for almost a year now! You are seriously testing my patience. I think we need to have a little chat about your work tempo. I mean seriously, we are talking about flying LEGO, not launching it to space. Please get back to me in a month with a working prototype or i am going to have to reconsider your future at this forum. Yours, Kelkschiz Member of the board of EB
  20. Nice MOC, but the pictures are way too big for my old screen.
  21. Ah yes I understand now, interesting. Except for the drawback you mentioned, it seems like it should work, unfortunately i don't have a servo or that kind of battery box either.
  22. I like how you used the battery box in combination with a counterweight as a sort of attitude sensor. But if i follow you correctly it would mean you'd just get a 'balanced' barrel. Meaning it would act more of less the same as a well balanced barrel, like Sariel has done. The problem with such a system is that it only works with the barrel at one level of elevation. For instance if the barrel is horizontal it will keep the barrel horizontal. However it would stop working when you wanted to elevate the barrel. Or am i making a mistake? Your system could be used as an 'authentic' stabilizer if you would also be able to rotate the counterweight. But i hate to think how much space such a system would take up...
