  1. On Rebrickable you can limit your search to smaller number of parts. No, there are many more gears. Check "Bricklink", parts, Technic gears.
  2. When I first saw this I pictured a level moving sidewalk, like some US airports have. Now, I understand more what you were looking for. Check out Jason Allemann's Roller Coaster Train: https://jkbrickworks.com/roller-coaster-train/ https://youtu.be/ExyF1nLxKd8
  3. Yes, it's a scam. Too good to be true!! buyer beware. TLG says they only sell online through Lego.com
  4. That's a real nice looking train!! Too bad TLG doesn't make wheels bid enough for the size of the real Polar Express. I've ridden it many times. That Pere Marquette 1225 is ONE BIG TRAIN!!!
  5. Have a look through Rebrickable.com
  6. 8043 did come with Version 2 receivers. All Lego sets that come with receivers have version 2. The only way you can get a version 1 now from LEGO is thru shop at home.
  7. This looks like a great alternative to use with the old 9 volt battery box 4760c01 .
  8. Yea, google "tensegrity" and check out the images.
  9. How about "Fort Legoredo"?
  10. could the roller coaster tracks work for a more modern cable system? The creator expert roller coaster uses a chain to pull the carts up the inclines which would work on any straight track. That set uses wheels to push the sides of the carts around curves. The chain kind of works like a cable car but without holding onto a cable like San Francisco cable cars. Watch a couple of the videos on Set 10261. You'll see how it works
  11. Can anyone help identify the pull strap at about 20 seconds into the video?
  12. Check out Attika's video.
  13. Have you considered using large Technic track links?
  14. I have always found TLG to be cordial and accommodating. Just tell them the problem. I'm sure they'll fix it with you.
  15. This is a 6X6, quite different from your design here.
  16. That's funny!! It's true, but just make sure that person in your life is getting their hobby desires taken care of too.
  17. Being From USA, this advice may not help. "Bricklink", If you can find a store that carries a large stock of Duplo. "Ebay" and "Amazon" are good too. Your 4 year old may be ready for Legos and your 2 year old is not too many years from them either. Not all kids are the same but my kids were into the Legos by 3 years of age ( small $3 sets).
  18. It's my understanding that Stud.io uses LDRAW parts. If true, then Stud.io parts will not easily go into LDD. At some point LDD will become too hard to use. So starting to learn a software that is being supported with updates is the way to go.
  19. Here is one place you might find it; or Rebrickable; or Google it. But, I didn't find it yet. May be a little too early for it to be available. Open it in Stud.io as an LDRAW file.
  20. I don't use LDD often but when I do, I just use it offline. I guess it does what I need. You may want to consider going to Bricklink's "Stud.io". LDD is no longer supported by TLG.
  21. I'd love to see a video of this in action.
  22. Bricklink #s 3241 & 3242.
  23. Well, Aren't you just so smart!!! I'm sure it's easy when you know what you are looking for. Thanks just the same.
  24. Could you direct me to the pages in the building instruction where the stepper (here) is. I don't own the 42083 set. I'd like to build this.
