  1. If you only handle each part for one minute that is more than three days, and usually you don't get them all correct the first time. You have to get 1903 parts in the right order, divided into steps, and that's not adding time for submodeling. That is not counting if the file has problems like parts not fitting together properly, not the right colors, not the right parts, problems arising from converting files to usable formats. Then you have to layout the pages which takes the most time. That is where a fast PC makes all the difference. I have found that even with excellent files, there is a lot of fine tuning before you get the final product. Stud.io is good but it's not up to the quality of other software or LEGO. Three days or more isn't even close. It takes a lot of time!!!
  2. Do you realize how much time it takes to create "lego-like" build instructions? (I'm assuming you have a digital file) How much $ to charge...?? With a model this large it takes a capable PC and software that can handle it.
  3. What is the part/s number/s for this new differential? Got it from brickset. LBG 65414, Red 65413, & 5X tan 6589.
  4. Those parts according to Bricklink are supposed to be LBG not very light bluish gray. What do they look like?
  5. Most outboard motors or inboard/ outboard units have a small little rudder type fin on them to correct for the pitch of the propeller. And yes, a counter spinning prop also fixes that problem. 45* is a lot to correct.
  6. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/build/studiohelp.page https://rebrickable.com/help/guide-to-stud-io/ https://brickset.com/article/24920/building-with-stud-io There are also videos. Just Google it.
  7. Here is the other piece: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=2144#T=S&O={"iconly":0}. All I did was put your part number in the search box and hit enter.
  8. Go to Bricklink.com or Lego online shop and order it from either bricks & pieces or replacement parts. Maybe you need this piece: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=6005&name=Brick, Arch 1 x 3 x 2 Curved Top&category=[Brick, Arch]#T=S&O={"iconly":0} Bricklink.com has a catalog of every lego part and set with inventories. Just go there and look around. It's very helpful. I use it a lot. There are lots of stores selling parts too. You can find out what colors exist and what sets it came in, etc.
  9. Your model & video do not compare to what people want to do with Buwizz. Your model is small, lightweight and is running on a level surface.Using pure Lego just isn't the answer when trying to run Large, heavy Mocs on outdoor rough terrain. LEGO simply cannot do it!!!
  10. Yeah, that's definitely factory sealed.
  11. Make a sink of hot dishwater and brush 'em clean, rinse, dry. You may want an old toothbrush or a small, soft household brush.
  12. Do you have a picture?
  13. It's usually best to try it in plastic first. You really need to feel the pieces and how well they fit together and how well your ideas work. If you don't have enough Lego then try it digitally. Whenever I try the digital first, I almost always have to rebuild with bricks again; and order more parts.
  14. My small loop will be a single one. While I was waiting for your reply, I came up with a little bit different connection from yours. This is the bottom. This is one of the other connections on the small loop. I plan on making all these parts red. I was wondering if you had tried the connection like this one below on the big loop and how it compares to yours? Your connection is probably stronger?
  15. I'm interested in two things. 1. How do you make the connections on the large loop (the ones using the 4x4 plate with rounded corner)? And 2. What is the sequence of parts used on the bottom of the small loop? I looked at your flickr album but I'm still trying to figure out how you accomplished this. BTW, you have inspired me to make a new connection using plates with clips. Those little buggers are handy!
  16. I don't have this hair piece. I have a female pharaoh. Have you seen this one col078 Egyptian Queen - Minifigure only Entry Series 5 Minifigures on Bricklink.com? She has Egyptian styled hair.
  17. Do you know the part number?
  18. PayPal is the best way to go.
  19. Also check Lego shop replacements, it's at the bottom of every page.
  20. I thought brickfactory might have it, but no, neither Rebrickable nor Brickset. I'm sorry, I'm not much help.
  21. Listen folks, you really have to have decent hardware to make building instructions (BI). The Lego parts files are not small and when there are a lot in your MOC, It just does take a lot of RAM, high speed HD, a very good GPU, and a very fast CPU!! It just does need it. I don't even use a HD, I have a SSD. What a DIFFERENCE!!! In fact I use a "gamers" PC. And, I'm wishing for a display that is way bigger than 27 inches. My current project has nearly 2700 parts. I am more than 2/3 done and it is starting to slow in LPUB3D. You may have to save and restart many times to get through.
  22. If anyone can help with model number for the red racer on the bottom row... Check Blakbird's Technicopedia. He'll have it there. Your son has the "B" model on display. Here is the Lego BI link. https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/buildinginstructions/search#?search&text=42005
