  1. I'll vote for that as long as LXF files can be easily converted to LDRAW or STUD.IO formats.
  2. What is TLM2? And, what does it have to do with lego?
  3. I have many sets with stickers. Over the years they start peeling and will not stay on any longer. The adhesive goes bad!!!. Most of the time I don't use them.
  4. I use rebrickable to keep track of my personal inventory. I may not understand completely what you are trying to do. Rebrickable will tell you total parts that are in your sets, etc.
  5. Have you consulted Bricklink? For instance part 4085 has 4 versions, a-d. For each version Bricklink gives the years made and the sets they were packaged in. These years made do overlap. Anyway Bricklink may have the information you are looking for.
  6. For the pictrures post them on Bricksafe or anywhere you can post them for free. Then post the link to them on eurobricks.
  7. https://pv-productions.com/product/lego-gbc-balls/ €12.95 – €18.95 for 50 balls= .26- .38 euros per ball Lego has them in replacements for $0.64 for part #72824 (14mm GBC size -soccer).
  8. When the image is repositioned, LPUB3D does not redraw all of it. Even when Redraw is clicked, LPUB3D does not render the whole assembly image. Does anyone know how this can be fixed? I found this article: https://sites.google.com/site/workingwithlpub/general/advanced-techniques/largemodels It seems long and complicated giving too much room for error, even if I could understand it. Also, it is from 2012 and was made for LPUB not LPUB3D.
  9. Export your file as LDRAW and open it in LDCAD. LDCAD is supposed to be more user friendly when it comes to flexing parts. There are tutorials for it but you still may have to get some special help with it from here or LDCAD or LDRAW websites. Please keep us informed as I am very interested in how this problem is solved.
  10. That's really nice looking. I bet it's heavy.
  11. Go to the store and get some plastic sheeting to tack up from the ceiling down to the floor. Or, get some drop cloths or old bed sheets to cover your city when not being played with.
  12. It's obvious that you are concerned about your son's challenging hobby. I'm sure you also realize that his brain is learning much. Just try to feed what he is interested in. Try to supply where he is going with his interests. I am now on the other side. I didn't know what my son would do in life. But, I kind of figured he would make a good living. He's an engineer. Lego helped him get there!!!
  13. Are you trying to shift gears without servo motor going back to center? Lego Technic Sequential Stepper For 4 Speed Gearbox
  14. Just google "discolored Lego parts" and you'll find ways to bleach the color.
  15. Attika you did it again that's a great looking REDHOG truck. And, I can't wait to build it, especially after building "Attika's Pickup with buggy motors".
  16. Can you carefully remove the remainder of the outside of the arm with a safety blade? Then push the rest with a bar through to the inside of the torso?
  17. Hey Attika, another beautiful, incredible MOC!! Hey everyone, Attika does a beautiful job on his bodywork with angle connectors. It's his thing. I love it because you can see the shape of the vehicle and also what is inside!! BTW, build at least one of his trucks because you will (most likely) learn some new techniques.
  18. That works. the water wicks away or evaporates, leaving nothing behind. Soap concerns me, but I have not tried it. The masking tape could hold the edge of the sticker before placing it.
  19. Where are you from? Shipping costs are in question. What are the set numbers? Thanks.
  20. That sounds like a good idea too. I have yet to try making a marble run. I bet it's tricky to get that tubing just right.
  21. This is great!! It looks like a lot of the historic train depots in the USA.
  22. Here are two more links: https://developer.amazon.com/blogs/alexa/post/d1ece4c7-7d33-43da-8b98-c42d3edb6f85/lego-mindstorms-voice-challenge-offers-a-chance-to-win-up-to-100-000-in-prizes https://www.lego.com/en-us/aboutus/news/2019/september/lego-mindstorms-and-amazon-alexa-roll-out-voice-based-robotics-challenge/
  23. Hey, thanks for sharing this information!
  24. Please let us all know how to do it.
