Blakbird I like the simplicity. I don't like ads!!! I don't like unnecessary videos. Your videos are so cool being CAD, there aren't any human body parts in the way, all unnecessary technic parts are out of the way, only the transmission parts are there to show how they really work together! I love it!!!!! So educational!! This is not crude!! Nope, not outdated either, not really. BTW, I taught myself to use MLCad, LPub3D, and LDView. It took many years. I don't believe I will ever learn Stud.io, I won't spend the time except for rendering. The best tools are the ones you know how to use for the desired result. Don't worry about competing with Youtube, you have the corner on a niche that is loved by Lego Technic AFOLs. We've been waiting a long time to follow you on Technicopedia again. WOW, Welcome back Blakbird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have missed you!! YES, I still go to Technicopedia. There is information there that is not anywhere else. Especially what the new parts are like. I know exactly the year you stepped away. 42056 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is still incomplete. I haven't bought a Lego supercar since. I'm so glad you are back. Your contributions were always helpful. Once TLG started making GBC balls, it was easy to get hooked on making GBC modules. NOW they are expected at every exhibition.

Studio uses LDraw parts. All of the software (available free) on LDraw.org use LDraw parts. I use MLCad, LDView, and LPub3d to build and make instructions but, I use Studio to make renders. This is because I learned those software programs before there was Studio. There are far more tutorials for Studio. Up to this point, I have not taken the time nor have a need to learn to build or make instructions with Studio.

I have used mini hobby saws in the past and had a very nice clean cut from using one. They have very fine teeth on the saw, works very well!!

I get it. I get all of it. I've never read it so understandably nor more concise. That's why I do this hobby. Thanks! My problem is holding my hobby until I have time. It's more helpful to do Lego now. Even if I have to stop or do it in smaller increments. Lego is a better diversion than something like drinking.

That's beautiful and an incredible work of engineering to make a clock work from Lego toys!!!!

These may be better than what you could 3D print. To answer your question, there is a train wheel in MLCad & Stud.io 3.65cm, part # 85489ac01 that can be converted to an STL file for 3D printing.

Huh, Technicopedia working again!

If I remember correctly, Blakbird put his Lego habit (I mean hobby) on hold for a long while.

I'm not getting all the pictures on "Technicopedia" either. I've never had this problem before. What's going on?? I use "Chrome".

Now, I get it. these were made for a purpose.They show which direction the liquid plastic is going. They show how well or not the mold is working.
