I like winter series. But there's missing point. I think it's church with snow-covered roof! So I made one. This was made for winter series diorama. I hope you happy X-mas in advance! (I'm fast!) from Flickr LegoDaystar's MOC:Winter Church

This is a very artistic MOC that my friend and I designed. Before I go any further, this is inspired off of a MOC called "Gypsy Wagon", except we tweaked it a little bit. If you have a minute, take a look at my Flickr photo stream for the pictures. Sorry I couldn't put pictures up on here, but I'm having some technical issues at the moment. http://www.flickr.co...tream/lightbox/ http://www.flickr.co...tream/lightbox/ http://www.flickr.co...tream/lightbox/ http://www.flickr.co...tream/lightbox/ http://www.flickr.co...tream/lightbox/ http://www.flickr.co...tream/lightbox/ http://www.flickr.co...tream/lightbox/ http://www.flickr.co...tream/lightbox/ http://www.flickr.co...tream/lightbox/ http://www.flickr.co...tream/lightbox/

The recent Flash MOCs (http://www.flickr.com/groups/urtica/) gave me the inspiration for the stone technique, and of course I added a full interior. This trading post located in the mountains of Mitgardia allows hunters and trappers to trade their furs for supplies, and provides a safe place to stay if neccesary. Joktan, who runs the trading post then sells those furs throughout Historica. More pics here: http://brickbuilt.org/Trading-Post.php Any C&C welcome

Do you ever get tired of the whiteness of winter? Come see some green inside the florist's shop! This entrepreneur provides flowers for every anniversary, wedding, prom, funeral, and holiday in Lego Town. The trusty delivery man sends out gifts to everyone in the town, while the roasted chestnut vendor sells his wares. Here you can see the entire layout, featuring the florist's shop, the delivery truck, and the roasted chestnut vendor. It looks like the florist has gotten in the holiday spirit with his wreath! Above the shop window, you can see the nursery where his seedlings are grown. This is where the magic happens. It looks like the man in yellow is buying mistletoe with his special someone in mind! When packages need to be delivered across town, the trusty delivery truck is always ready. With room in the back for large packages and space in the front seat for delicate parcels, the truck is ready for any delivery. What's in the package? The boy doesn't care, he just wants chestnuts. Thanks for viewing my MOC. For additional hi-res pictures, check out my Flickr gallery. I had fun building this, and C&C is welcome.

I present to you my entry for: Expand the Winter Village Contest III The Winter Village Tavern! (I apologize for the image quality) I don't have any of the winter village sets (all the more reason I'd love to win one! ) so I had to look them up online to get a feel for their look. I loved the way the Cottage was designed and decided to model mine after that! Here's some more shots The inside! The side! Where do the kids go while their parents are in the pub? Outside, where they have snowball fights, of course! Full set: flickr page with all of the pictures (much better quality): http://www.flickr.com/photos/70459923@N05/ I hope you enjoyed this! Thanks for looking Good luck to the other contestants! Why did only the last picture load? Sorry guys...

This little scene is my last CCCX entry; it's for the "Winter Scene" category. From the hunting lodge journal of Andor: “Snow is usually a hindrance to much of life in the Mitgardian winters; however, hunters like me often find it a blessing. The beautiful white landscape makes tracking blood trails from wounded game animals far easier to track. Today I let an arrow loose into a nice buck, it was a well placed shot, but the deer was a strong beast and he staggered for about a half mile before expiring. I might never have found him had it not been for the red blood on the white snow.” I've been trying to work in some icicles, but have been unable to until now. This is also my first foray into trees with no leaves. Flickr link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mrcp6d/sets/72157632391079312/

(if deemed unsuitable for contest could someone move it to the Historic themes forum? thanks)

B-OV-40B So, that Winter Village contest is going on, and I (surprisingly) haven't seen any entries yet! I can't enter this digital entries aren't allowed. I made this for fun, anyway, I do it every year. Last year I made a candy store. But this year, I thought I'd try something smaller; a book store! Final_Winter_Book_Shop3 The store itself is 628 pieces, there is a light brick, but I will get on to that later. I had a few design flaws, like the rounded window. I wanted it to have some icicles, but using the green rounded plates wouldn't allow me to have them in some places. I tried my best not to have the window's roof from the post office set, so I kinda.. altered it. Some scenery is included; a tree with a snow pile (from the snowblower), and a small bridge with a stream underneath and a little wreath. The minifigures: WBS1 From left to right: Book Store Owner, Mother, Daughter, Father, Snow Worker Then a few inside images: Choosing books Buying a book (Where's the book? ) Upstairs bedroom, bed w/ lamp and a 'picture' (or newspaper ) The fireplace and light brick, that shines through the window! Side view (notice the technic pin hole in the 1st alt image?) So that's my Winter Book Store. I hope you all liked it! Comments appreciated -Sci
