    LDD Moc: Tower

Not quite sure if this is the right place It is a medieval tower I'm Planning to build once. file
  2. Hello everyone ! Here is my last medieval-themed MOC. It's a 16x16 vig, depicting Sir Rendyr Greydale, riding across the land on his horse. I firstly built the knight, inspired by the CMF Series 9's Heroic Knight, and Jaime Lannister, from Game of Thrones (I think that hairstyle is quite nice for him ^^). Then I gave him a steed, with some flags, and I built a little vignette around. I think it's a good way to learn making vegetations, and landscape. The picture links to the BrickShelf gallery (sorry for the pictures' quality) : Comments and criticisms are welcome, I hope you will like it !

    [MOC] Castle Wall

I haven't been building much recently (besides a couple of scenes for Heroica), but I built this small Castle Wall scene back in December. Enjoy! Thanks for viewing! Constructive criticism / pure praise would be appreciated!
  4. Made for the Fortify Lenfald Challenge in LCC. This is the home of Manek Asten and his wife Eleonora. Manek is a captain in the army of Lenfald and lives just outside the great city Stonewald. He has hired Pepin (my character) to oversee the construction of a stone wall around his home as war seems to be coming: More pics, including interior, here: http://brickbuilt.tk...sten's-Home.php Any C&C welcome
  5. Hello! I am a Swedish AFOL who have been active on Swebrick for a couple of years, and have from occasionally been lurking around here on Eurobricks as well (mostly in the Guilds of Historica subsection). First and foremost I am since coming out of my dark age a fan of lego castle and medieval/fantasy building in general. I was a lego fan even in high school and continued to build with my lego castle from time to time as well, but then university studies, small living conditions and a limited budget held me back from pursuing my Lego interest to any great extent. I started collecting new lego a couple of years back during the last year of the Kingdoms theme and I am very regretful that I missed the fantasy era, but I have tried to remedy that by shopping way to much LotR from Amazon recently ;) I joined EB to better late than never join Guilds of Historica which I have been following, envyous of the excellent builds people seem to be able to produce there. It also seems like an excellent way to challenge myself to build "out of my comfort zone" (which today is castles with the big gray wall syndrome as an ever present danger). However, I am having a hard time choosing which guild to join... Avalonia would be the obvious choice based on my brick collection and building style, but then again that might be to close to my comfort zone? Some of my limited production in later years (and a couple of earlier builds I put together while staying at my parents place a couple of holidays in college) can be seen on flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/64008454@N03/ Happy to be able to join such a great community! /"Gideon"

    Tolswick Guard House

As part of my ongoing "Tolswick defense project" I am putting small guard houses up around the town. These cost less and are quicker to build than walls. This build was inspired by SoccerKid. FRONT: I used a tile and 1x1 stud technique on the front. The roof looks weird and flat in this picture, but in real life it looks better, and is made with log bricks. SIDE: I ran out of studs quickly, so soon I only had headlight bricks. That is why the tiles are so flat. INTERIOR: The roof lifts up too see inside. As you can see, I have not yet completed the interior, but all those studs facing in are just begging for a brown tile wooden wall. Thanks for looking and please put some C&C!

    Winter Village: Tavern

I present to you my entry for: Expand the Winter Village Contest III The Winter Village Tavern! (I apologize for the image quality) I don't have any of the winter village sets (all the more reason I'd love to win one! ) so I had to look them up online to get a feel for their look. I loved the way the Cottage was designed and decided to model mine after that! Here's some more shots The inside! The side! Where do the kids go while their parents are in the pub? Outside, where they have snowball fights, of course! Full set: flickr page with all of the pictures (much better quality): http://www.flickr.com/photos/70459923@N05/ I hope you enjoyed this! Thanks for looking Good luck to the other contestants! Why did only the last picture load? Sorry guys...

    CCCX Ras-al-Jabar

CCCX Ras-al-Jabar This story tells us a tale of a gorgeous and rich land now buried under the sands, Ras-al-Jabar "An old castle called Ras-al-Jabar was built hundreds of years ago by Emir of Rabaat in the southern realm of Mamlakat. The Salam river runs through these lands and it is the main source of fresh water and fish. Ras-al-Jabar is the center of trade and learning. Markets impress everyone by rich variety of products from all over the world. Ras-al-Jabar's library is still the largest in the southern region. This castle provided safety and defence to the whole land. But its greatness fell when The Dark times began..." __________________________ CCCX Ras-al-Jabar by Fianat, on Flickr CCCX Ras-al-Jabar by Fianat, on Flickr CCCX Ras-al-Jabar by Fianat, on Flickr CCCX Ras-al-Jabar by Fianat, on Flickr CCCX Ras-al-Jabar by Fianat, on Flickr CCCX Ras-al-Jabar by Fianat, on Flickr This is my first entry for the Colossal Castle Contest 2012 in the Miscellaneous Category Deeplinks : Brickshelf Set More Pictures Thanks for viewing!
