It's time for you to cast your votes for your favourite entries in .... The Turtle Insanity Contest! The response to this contest has been phenomenal! Thank you to everyone who took the trouble to enter. Now we need you to vote for your favourites. The top vote-getters will be placed on a shortlist to be judged by a panel of experts from The LEGO Group. Entries are indexed by thumbnail in the post below. We recommend reading through the Entry Thread before voting, as many entries have features which will not be apparent from the thumbnails. If your entry has not been indexed, then it has been ruled ineligible. Common reasons include two or more entries in one post (first only is indexed), entries clearly based on Licensed themes, or coloured backgrounds. Use this thread only for voting. Please use the Discussion Thread for questions relating to the voting rules or process. Remember, you're voting for the turtles you'd most like to be featured in the poster. Voting will close on 24 August 2014. So Get Voting! Voting Rules This public vote will be used to create a shortlist which will be submitted to The LEGO Group for judging by an expert panel. Only Eurobricks members who registered before the start of the contest (registered on or before 14 July 2014) are eligible to vote. Eligible votes will be entered into a voting raffle with a chance to win a further prize. The Eurobricks staff and The LEGO Group reserve the right to adjust these rules as necessary. Here are some custom figures that I made for a LEGO Ideas project: Old Bilbo is shown here in the outfit he wore at the beginning of The Fellowship of the Ring. He's a pretty important character in the trilogy, and I'm surprised that LEGO hasn't made him yet. Old Bilbo by lancethecat, on Flickr Gandalf is decked out in full Santa garb, with a red cloak to match. Hello, Eurobricks! Today I bring you my first LEGO Ideas project! 2015 will be the 30th anniversary of Rocky IV, and you can help celebrate this awesome movie by supporting this set based off the iconic fight between Rocky Balboa and Ivan Drago! Set includes 212 pieces, 3 minifigures (Ivan Drago, Rocky Balboa, and The Announcer), a stand for said minifigures, and the quintessential boxing ring. If you any comments, suggestions, or criticisms, I will gladly listen to them and put them into consideration for any future updates. Click any image for a larger picture. Tinker Bell is an extremely popular character, originally created by J. M. Barrie, and currently owned by the Walt Disney Company. I believe fans of Disney and LEGO would love to build this rendition of her. In my concept model, her arms, legs, head, and wings can be moved to achieve various poses. I had thought about buying the pieces to build Tinker Bell in real life, but most of her 199 pieces do not yet exist in the colors I chose--such as the Light Nougat (a.k.a. Light Flesh) in her head, arms, and legs. If my concept of Tinker Bell were to be produced, it might be possible to use Brick Yellow (a.k.a. Tan), a more common color, in place of Light Nougat. However, after trying that in LEGO Digital Designer, I noticed that Tinker Bell's skin looked unnatural. In real life, Brick Yellow might look better than it does in LEGO Digital Designer. While designing my concept, I tried to preserve a realistic appearance while still allowing for movement of joints. The arms and head were especially challenging. Although my concept has brick-built eyes, I think custom decals would look better. Feel free to inspect my concept in LEGO Digital Designer. Here is the posed model, and here is a straight standing version. Please vote for my concept on LEGO Ideas. If you have friends and/or relatives that might like this model, please tell them to sign up and vote for it too. Thank you in advance for your support! -Toa Of Justice

Hi all, My second MOC on Eurobricks. I designed and completed this build whilst working on my larger galleon MOC. I enjoyed collecting and building the LEGO Exo-Force line with my sons, though both they and I really wanted a more Western themed range, something more along the lines of FASA and the Battletech universe. The inspiration for this build should be obvious. It was not designed to be an exact replica, rather a build that pays homage to the source, whilst still presenting as unique LEGO model. The piece count is 520. The cockpit removes easily, attached by Technic pins. I have realized the build in olive and dark green. I would prefer to see the dark green replaced with dark tan, giving the model a more militant and 'earthy' feel, as shown in this LDD render. Not all of the parts required are available in dark tan. I submitted it as a LEGO idea model - because I would like to see TLG start a similar themed mech line and because it would be nice to get the required parts in dark tan LDD file: Battle Mech.lxf

Hey everyone! With the release of LEGO Ideas this past week, I thought I should decide to make a project, because I haven't made one for a while. I thought of making the Mall of America LEGO Store, in Minnesota, 20 minutes away from me. I'm currently working on it as I speak - this thread will be just to show my progress on it so far, so when it's done, I can submit it. At this moment, I don't have much. Just the checkout table and a possible Build-a-Minifig stand. The point of this thread is to show the progress on this MOC. I'll post updates at least every week. Feedback is greatly appreciated, so I can continue working on and improving what the final store will look like! Thanks for looking! -Sci

Please support my MOC at Lego Ideas
Hedgie posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi everybody, A while ago I posted my MOC here and received some nice comments. Thank you all very much. A special thanks to Jim who frontpaged me, and to Osuharding1 who created a great .Today, I've published the Compact Convertible at the new Lego Ideas. As you know, when it receives 10,000 supporters TLG will consider making it an official model. I know it's a long shot, but I'd like to ask all of you to please become a supporter. Simply visit the project page and if you like it, click "Support". You'll need to login or create an account to complete. This is the first time I published something on Lego Ideas and the experience was pretty flawless. I like the new layout and the new wizard to enter all the project information was great to use. It took two days for the project to be approved. I would like to see more awesome Technic models on there though, so after supporting me please also submit your own MOC! -
I do not take credit for this set. However it is awesome and I wish I could. After all it is almost there.
