    Tigelfáh Abbey

I am very lucky to be partaking in part of a collaboration at STEAM 2013 along with 7 other fantastic British builders. We are building a medieval village, circa early 14th century. James has already posted his castle. My section is an abbey, loosely based on Tintern Abbey in Wales. Below is a selection of photos (I will add more after the show): Ashes to Ashes by Cuahchic, on Flickr Nicholas fitz Theodoric by Cuahchic, on Flickr Monks Procession by Cuahchic, on Flickr ********************************* I would encourage anyone based in the UK to make it along to Swindon this year to see the whole display (>14 metres squared).
  2. I am working on a multi-MOC diorama in LDD and I was wondering if anyone has found a piece that could be used as a bullet or a missle (obviously something small and for mid-air stuff). I can't seem to find any that have easy-to-use connection points.
  3. Hey guys and girls! This is my first MOC in maaaaaany years, and in fact the first MOC I've created as a newly embarked AFOL. The setting as I imagine it is the two mad scientists hiding in their layer, creating diabolical plans and potions, when Rodney Rathbone, fearless leader of the Monster Fighters intervenes. A fight between him and Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde breaks out, and as the bad doctor's friend is about to help him defeat Rathbone, Mr McHammer "knocks" on the door, screaming "IT'S HAMMER TIME!" Chaos breaks out... Looks like the Monster Fighters have once again saved the day! (And will be able to take home that good ol' moonstone to Rathbone's home for safekeeping). As I was about to finish this little diorama I couldn't resist adding some Major Steele awesomeness on the "roof". So what do you think? Anything I should keep in mind during my new career as a AFOL? :) Have a nice day ppl! Ciao ~
  4. There, I said it; I called a CW dio "awesome". This MOC by Olive Seon on flickr has no title and no description…but does it need one? The pictures are enough to show the incredible size and detail. (That’s a stock AT-TE walking out the main door.) In addition to the fact that its huge and that everything looks like it works, the coloring stands out to me, especially the large writing and symbols in the floors. The builder has also made a bunch of stock sets look terrific by surrounding them with an outstanding diorama.
  5. Hi!this my new creation!I hope you like it! This is the link http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/361858
  6. Hello everyone, I am proud to assist my friends Sered (http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=81940) and Marco Cancellieri in showing the big A Song of Ice and Fire (know as Game of Thrones for the HBO show) diorama that we together presented at the ItLug Latina 2013 Lugfest. Some information about this diorama: it's 288 studs large and 576 long, making it 2,30 m large and 4,60 long. Sered, as you can see on the linked topic, did an oustanding and unflagging work in building Winterfell. That's so plenty of wonderful details that though the many pictures we took, it doesn't do justice to him. Here there are just a couple of pictures, please click on the previous link to enjoy the work he did: or follow the link https://skydrive.liv...5C5BAC70CE1!124 thanking our great friend Yugo Amaryl. Marco Cancellieri AKA The Chancellor, who always likes (and succeeds) to impress, went into another big job and build none other than the WALL (and Castle Black of course) Again, here are some resized pictures, you can take advantage of Yugo Amaryl's shots again to see them in detail: https://skydrive.liv...5C5BAC70CE1!123 Me and my friend Lothard McLotti went into building the Frey's Twin Towers. Nothing like the above, but nice result though: More to this diorama is being built for the next Legofests. As I speak, people is adding wanting to build another piece of westeros... what will this become? Thank you for watching from Italy!

    Winterfell

Hello! I would you like to show my last MOC, Winterfell from The Games of Thrones. This castle is part of a huge diorama presented at ItLUG - RomaBrick Latina 2013 last weekend. Winterfell counts 16 baseplates 48x48. I have only this photo made with Iphone so the quality is poor. As soon as possibile I'll post photos with higher quality. @Ecclesiastes: I did it! http://www.flickr.com/photos/lord_tristan/sets/72157633362826707/with/8695347715/ Here you are more pics in high quality, thanks to my friend Lego_Amaryl
