Made this for a freebuild for SoNE. The build won't be ready for about a week since I need some parts from Bricklink in order to finish this Headhunter as well as another (the other one will be smaller, have four engines, and be gray; in other words, a more "Rebel-like'" version), and improve my currently horrendously ugly Tie Fighter. The cockpit and the unnervingly cheerful pilot. A sight my TIE pilot will never get to see. The cones on the engines aren't canon, but I think it gives it a more clone-wars feel. The engines. When the BL order comes in, it'll have authentic pink exhaust. Until then, my camera is rebelling by taking blurry pictures of them. The wing-tip blaster. My second-most favorite part. Has anyone else wondered where the proton torpedo launchers were? I mean, Episode IV didn't show the X-Wing when the torpedoes were being launched, and there aren't any visible exit ports on the fighter to my knowledge. And here's my most favorite part: the back panel flips down to reveal the engine... ...which comes out for maintenance. Or, you know, if you need to jettison the engine so you can have less weight mid-flight That's it. Overall, I'm really pleased with how this turned out

Hello again everyone! Continuing to review the sets I bought during the May the Fourth sale. So here is my second review : 75088 Senate Commando Troopers Name: Senate Commando Troopers Theme: Star Wars / The Clone Wars Year: 2015 Pieces: 106 Minifigures: 4 Price: USA 12.99$, ENG 11.99£, CAN 15.99$, EUR 16.99€ Resource: Brickset Lego store description The front of the box with the new 2015 art: A stormtrooper helmet tagged with a rebel alliance crest. Same as the other sets of the winter wave. On the back, we see the troopers in action, the number of spare studs included and the play features of the canon. In the box, the pieces come in 2 bags and there is also the instruction booklet. The instruction booklet has the same image as the box on the cover. The back with the win minifigure. Spare parts. Mainly spare studs for the guns as you can expect from a battlepack. The completed model. The canon is equiped with the new stud "gatlin" gun. Side view 1 Side view 2 Back view Top view The legs can be adjusted Legs down Legs up The canon can be aimed up and down. This is the lowest angle it can be placed in. We now move to the minifigures: the highlight and purpose of the battlepack. We get 4 of them. Three senate commando troopers and one senate commando captain. The captain as a different face from the 3 other troopers. The 3 troopers have the clone face from other clone battlepacks. The captain as some white painting on his helmet, torso and leg. The back printing is similar. Rating ------ These three points are not included in final score. Price: 6/10 – 106 pieces for 12.99$ is above the 10 cents per piece ration. Also 20 of those piece are studs for the guns and the canon. Still we get 4 great minifigures that were really expensive on the aftermarket because they were released in only 2 sets years ago. Plus the canon is a nice little build. We are use by now to this kind of pricing for battlepacks. Parts: 7/10 – 20 of the pieces are studs but we get 7 pieces in republic red and only 2-3 technic pieces. The "gatlin" canon is a really nice piece. Build 7/10 – Nothing fancy here. The building process will take you no longer then 10 minutes. No special technic are involved in the build. ------ Design 7.5/10 – Since the canon is not based on any source material it's difficult to compare it. Still, with the colors and style we have no problems imagining this canon as an anti aircraft gun that would be around the senate protecting it from attacks. The canon looks great overall, but the side of the barrel (Image: side view 1) could have been better. Also, some might find it too "bulky". It looks more like a mortar then a canon. Minifigures: 9/10 – The 4 minifigures are amazing. Printed legs and printed back torso. The fact that we get a captain and 3 troopers is great. Its nice to have a captain. It adds diversity to the battleback but they still look good displayed together. Only complaint: we should have goten 4 different faces since the senate commando troopers are not clones. Playability: 7.5/10 – Like other one faction only battlepacks, it complement other sets really well. By itself you can shoots the canon and play with the troopers but you will defenetly need bad guy to shoot at. The shooter on the canon rotates on the sides and up and down. It works really well and shoots far. Kids should have a blast using it. OVERALL 8/10 – A nice little battlepack. The minifigures are great and so is the canon. Its not everyday we get a senate related sets and non clones troopers of the prequel era. In fact this is the first prequel battlepack wich does not contain any clones. They look great standing next to Palpatine in his office and you can make an Emperor arrival moc PT style. This is an above average set that you should pick up if you would like to add to your republic force with non clone elements and a neat canon. Thoughts and critiques welcomes! Also if there is any grammar mistake burning your eyes, please PM me and I will edit. Thanks for reading!

Can Any one help me mod my 8098 Clone Turbo Tank (Clone Wars)
shrak posted a topic in LEGO Star Wars
So can any one give me some ideas of what I should do to modify my set. I would like to keep some what the way it is as it is modeled after the version seen in season 2 of star Wars the Clone Wars Holocron Heist. It would also be nice if they could be done medium to minimal requirement of pieces as I would be using the spare pieces I have already not going to go and buy new pieces just to mod it. Thanks to all who can help me! -
Based on gas bag headed predators from the Techno Union homeworld of Skako, the Octuptarra Tri Droid was a successful weapon used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems throughout the galaxy during the Clone Wars. The only part of this MOC I didn't build is the head which is from the first Homing Spider Droid. Otherwise everything else is original. Size Comparison: Comments, suggestions, questions are all welcome! If you want to see this or more MOCs like it, please feel free to check out my flickr account.

Hello! Here is my updated arena beasts for Lego ideas. I got the basic shapes and characters made pretty quickly but I spent a lot of time re-modeling them to try to get the perfect lego feel while still including the right amount of details and funtions. Here is the Reek: Here is the Acklay: And finally here is the Nexu: Questions Why did you decide to produce a Lego Ideas set Geonosis Arena? It has never been done before other than in the form of a prototype model (atleast one) and so I strongly think it should be made as a Star Wars set as it would be new and unique. It would be another nice addition away from the many reworked sets. The Arena beasts have never been released before aswell so it is not only the Arena that would be new but many of its characters. Prototype Set for those who have not seen it: Which is your favourite Arena Beast? My favourite is the Acklay beacause of how it looks like a mix between a Praying Mantis,(along with a triceratops for the head and a criceket for the tail/spike section) and a dragon which I both like. It used to be the Reek when I went to see the film. The Reek was the first Aotc figure which I managed to get after having missed a chance to get a protoype micro machines/michro machine sort of set with all three of them together. If this gets made into a Lego set what Lego Star Wars Creatures would you like to see next? From the films I would like to see the three Nabbo underwater creatures, (Colo Claw Fish, Opee Sea Killer and a smaller scale Sando Aqua Monster), a Bantha and also the mouth of a space slug with a smaller scale Millenium Falcon. Outside of the films I would like to see a Felucian Rancor/Bull Rancor, a Katarn and a Krayt Dragon. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/87724 Lastly thank you for taking the time to look at this post/project I really appreciate it! Looking forward to your replies!

Battle of Mustafar My 3rd creation for the Clone Wars community build is a small battle scene (again). Anakin and the 501's attacked the separatists secret base on planet, Mustafar. The clones and Anakin fight with the commando droids. UPDATE: New, better pictures. I build it again and made some new photo. Each side:

flickr Find Untitled...but awesome...Clone Wars Diorama
Brickdoctor posted a topic in LEGO Star Wars
There, I said it; I called a CW dio "awesome". This MOC by Olive Seon on flickr has no title and no description…but does it need one? The pictures are enough to show the incredible size and detail. (That’s a stock AT-TE walking out the main door.) In addition to the fact that its huge and that everything looks like it works, the coloring stands out to me, especially the large writing and symbols in the floors. The builder has also made a bunch of stock sets look terrific by surrounding them with an outstanding diorama. -
When greedy Chairman Cho breaks the agreement established by the Jed with the Talz chieftain Thi-Sen by insisting the planet and the Talz are under his power, the conflict escalates into war between the senator led clones and the Talz. Still a work in progress! AC

The Republic attack dropships swoop into battle to deploy troopers. These compact fighters are armed with cannons and chin guns to drill deep into battle zones. The pilot briefly lands with the ship's cockpit rotated into deploy position to drop up to two troopers onto the field before flying back into the air and providing close ground support. Still working on this Dropship and it's swooshable! AC

To all my Eurobricks friends, I present my latest Star Wars Clone Wars build. Ryloth Refinery Battle The planet of Ryloth is the scene for a desperate battle between Shaak Ti, Eeth Koth and Commander Gree's clones against the might of the Trade Federation. The refinery must be held lest the planets resources fall into the Separatists hands. This was recently shown at the Sydney Brick Show and took home third prize. I am really dissapointed with the photos yet again but as the MOC is still 2 hours away from home and no idea if it is still in one piece, I decided to share it anyway. Changes will be made to my photography on the next MOC however! Hope you enjoy. After the CBSW was announced I was determined to make a decent scene recreation, so then I had a look for reference pictures of some episodes and then came to the conclusion that 'A Necessary Bond' sounded good, despite my recreation being a small one and missing another important figure (Ahsoka) I felt undecided to whether to make a MOC based on this episode but I wanted a decent scene recreation involving Grevious in it, so apologies for missing out Ahsoka in this but here it is! "This War Will Claim Us All..." With the conclusion of the Future of Star Wars contest it's time again to continue the community builds! The last few builds have been great successes, so let's get started on a new one. This is not a contest, just a chance for everyone to build in the same theme. Your entry can be any size shape or form as long as it relates to the Clone Wars, either show or the movie, we're not picky. The deadline is May 31, 2013. Guidelines for posting: 1) Post your MOC in a separate topic in the LSW forum with the topic tag CBSW The Clone Wars. 2) Reply to this thread with a picture of your MOC and a link to the entry thread. 3) You may post as many pictures of your MOC as you like inside your entry thread. Pics should be no larger than 800x600. 4) Your entry will be added beside your name in the Sign-ups. 5) You may create as many new MOCs as you want, but please do your best to complete them before the deadline. First of all I request some help from an admin, because I don't know how to make a poll! Thank you Mini MTT When I first saw this set I didn't even know that they released a new mini MTT and I fell in love with it immediately. Then ordered it from a big Lego store in Hungary and I got it today, and I saw there isn't a review here on EB so I put one together for you guys (It's my first). Now let's have a look! Basic info Set Name: Mini MTT Set Number: 30059 Release: 2012 Price: I don't know exactly, probably was sol around 4-5$ (I bought it for 2000 HUF = 9$) Number of Pieces: 51 (http://www.brickset....ry/?Set=30059-1) Minifigs: 0 The bag It's decorated with the commonly disliked Darth Maul logo with his twisted neck and fierce look. In spite I have to say that I like that logo, he is my favorite short-lived Sith warrior. Moving our eyes below we can see the MTT itself in the middle of a fight on a beautiful planet (I'm guessing it's Ryloth concerning that the grey/blue MTT's were shown there first in CW). The content of the bag Here is the pile after a little sorting I have to say that those dark blue parts are astonishing, that color is so beautiful. None of them new but the 1x1 cone can be found in only 4 sets in this color. The instructions It is very little, we don't get a book but it's not necessary for a set this small, so we have the folded sheet with both side printed on. (I'm sorry for the first page) Very fast build, Took just a few minutes with taking the pictures, but it was very enjoyable. Now have a look at the builted set: The MTT Okay here we have it. It's looks very soild and it really is, except the binoculars, somehow they tend to pop off a little easily, maybe I was unlucky and those were made of worse quality ABS... Here are some more pictures: Side Front Back Top Underwear All together Oh and don't forget the spare parts!!! Overall Parts: I think they are okay, we get some rare, very nice dark blue parts, lots of cheese slopes and other common but useful parts. Price: A bit pricey, but it's Star Wars and in Hungary everything is more expensive so if you take that into account then I assume it could be worse. Playability: There is not much, A solid transport vehicle, it can swoosh and that's all. Minifigs: As usual we don't get any. Design: Compared to the size the mini MTT is as accurate to the original as it can be, Lego did a great work designing it, although the colors seem a little mixed up on the complete set, but again, you can't make better details on a set this size. Although it lacks the sense of scale, the rear part is too wide IMO. Final thoughts I've read some comments on this set throughout the web and there were more people who disliked it than those who liked it. I'm in the latter group and I recommend this set because it looks very good, relatively cheap (if you can find it in a store, but looking at ebay prices... ), contains rare DB parts and most importantly..... wait for it..... it's cute. I hope you enjoyed this review, it was my first so I tried to point out anything that you used to read in the experienced review writer's And I apologize for my english
