  1. I'm certainly very jealous of that. I have found trees a real challenge and you have knocked it out of the park here. The roof is lovely too, there are many areas worth a comment but the trees are standout. GJ.

    None shall pass

The Eslandian forces sent to the Prio Seas to make safe a new colony on the island Otoño quickly came to regard the work as dull and uneventful but fervently hoped for it to remain that way, deployments elsewhere seemed destined for conflict and these soldiers knew well how fickle the fates can be in times of war. As the masons brought with them constructed the small defensive position that would initially be their home the soldiers paid little attention to the activity except to remember to look busy when heavy lifting looked to be on the cards. Soon they were in possession of a sturdy fort, lacking in style, sophistication and enough space to swing a cat, which was a shame as rats seemed common. As they settled in to the routine of guard duty the soldiers reflected on their new home. DSCN9526 by Phadeout, on Flickr Some of the more thoughtful members of the team wondered why they had to stand guard duty outside the thick walls designed specifically to protect them from harm whilst on said guard duty, especially as they got their feet wet during high tide. Questions were also raised as to the ability to aim the cannon situated inside the fort, it was noticed that unless an enemy approached completely head on to the guns they wouldn't be firing much at all.. DSCN9528 by Phadeout, on Flickr Still for Sergeant Alberto Morales Mejia it was an opportunity to discharge his duty with competance, integrity and most importantly whilst being angry at all times, irrespective of the situation at hand. 3. As news of the Treasure Fleet spread like wildfire through the Brick Seas an enterprising groups of light fingered locals decided to see if they could "redistribute" some of the treasure themselves before it was loaded onto the ships. Having managed to find one of the warehouses by the docks the gang set to work, unwilling to confront the guards at the door they needed another solution. DSCN9548 by Phadeout, on Flickr It had all been going so well... DSCN9550 by Phadeout, on Flickr This treasure would at least make it safely to the ships, after that who can say.. Concerns in the ministries

Lovely build and it seems like the political manoeuvring in BoBS may be going up a notch, excellent...
  8. Simple but very effective, really well thought out and executed.

    [ESL - KMA] Farmer's Fortitude

Love it, great ideas with all the different crops, the palisade bricks used to create the beds for the crops look perfect, very jealous of your two goats but the ramshackle construction is my favourite bit - it is really good all the way through though.

That went very wrong for Phillipe very quickly! I really like the build, the hay bales are a very good idea, as are the previously praised roof, tower and carriage. GJ.

    [ESL-FB] Water-powered Sawmill

I do love an educational element to the build - check. I also love a well constructed MOC - check. Sure a little detail on the green space would look nice but it is also a working area, I'm sure the conscientious Health and Safety Officer would have made them clear it up anyway when carrying out their risk assessment.. And well done in getting Weelond up another level!

New Islands Information Part II: Prio Seas.

As I asked before, we would need to know if it is automated and working, if so then fine, whatever really, but my point was if we don't know what to look for we won't know if it is working correctly. Someone who knew what was supposed to happen would have to check on our behalf.

New Islands Information Part II: Prio Seas.

Two points I'd raise related to that; firstly, is this process fully automated? Phred has been fantastic in fixing issues but if something isn't explicitly made clear we won't know if it is being left off of calculations or simply doesn't exist. Secondly, in the event of somebody placing a number of similar builds in the same location, which is quite possible as many builders build in the same settlement on the whole, it might be harder to determine what the effect is without wasting time and energy recreating the same scenario with a small change. Maybe on selection the owners of a new island could get a little more detailed info? Just an idea.

This is what it is all about! These builds look even better combined together and it gives such a better picture of a slice of life in BoBS. I am going to have to try something on this scale, thinking cap on!
  18. Apologies, didn't see the page my ships were in for some reason and they've boh done really well - huzzah! And yes, I hope automation can solve some of the burden for Ska it does seem an awful lot of work on our behalf - sincere thanks.
  19. I believe I entered both the Gold Wing and Ultimo Fenix, the latter as part of the Dragons Teeth convoy but it was a long time ago and I wouldn't say I was 100% certain.
  20. Here we are at the end of the tour - after everything else you have seen we come to the farm, where the family and the workers get some of their food from. IMAG4060 by Phadeout, on Flickr As you can see the cotton isn't being harvested here although that will surely be rectified soon. IMAG4065 by Phadeout, on Flickr Many of the workers are out on the farm at the moment, the carrots and apples are ready for harvesting. IMAG4075 by Phadeout, on Flickr Apparently a Very Important Person is over at the main house and is asking for some Bardo bacon, it seems it is becoming very well known, sensing the end is nigh Gustav the porker has made a break for it and is dashing off down the road as fast as his little piggy legs can carry him - the cook is furious, the VIP isn't known for his tolerance and the cook is well aware he could soon be looking for another job... IMAG4074 by Phadeout, on Flickr One final look at the farm, hope you enjoyed your tour of the MCTC's Royal Plantation in Bardo, remember the MCTC when you need large quantities of cotton and cotton goods which are available from our factory in Weelond. 21. That was a very strange experience! Looking at one of my old builds recreated but with fleshies instead of yellow faces. It is really nice to see, I love the "meta-story" too. Well played sir.
