Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
jonwil replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
All countries that have PaB now have 2022 parts (including Estonia, Hungry, Latvia, Slovenia, Slovakia and Canada) Austria and Australia now have whatever the latest batch of parts is (March stuff or whatever). Germany, Denmark, Finland, France, UK, Greece, Netherlands, Poland and Sweden are missing that latest batch of parts. -
Looking at dinosaurs that made an appearance in the original 3 movies and that we haven't seen in LEGO Jurassic sets yet, these are the ones we are missing: Brachiosaurus Compsognathus Pachycephalosaurus Spinosaurus (although we got one in an old Studios Jurassic Park III set) Stegosarus (this one was released in 2000 in some Dino Island sets) Ceratosaurus Corythosaurus Mamenchisaurus Parasaurolophus Of these, the ones that are recognizable and got enough screen time to justify being made into LEGO would be Brachiosaurus, Stegosarus and maybe Spinosaurus.

Canada now has 13475 parts, Estonia has 12443 and the other 4 countries still haven't changed. Also no parts from April or May have landed yet so those will presumably be the next to land. -

Yes parts are disappearing from the system but those are parts that are being retired for whatever reason and would likely not have been available under the old system either (just without it being as easy to tell what went MIA as it is now) -
If the music shop is a musical instrument shop and has a decent selection of instruments (specifically, instruments I don't already own) then this might be the first Winter Village set I actually buy.

I think the only time I bought pre-made pack was an xmas pack at one point (probably during the pandemic when the bins were not running in Australia)

Does anyone know if there is anyone making custom minifigs (ones using real LEGO torsos and such as a base) that represent US Navy personnel? Specifically, US naval aviators and others that would be hanging around a US Naval Air Station as well as higher-up US Navy officers. Feel free to mention any official LEGO minifig parts that would be suitable as well (I know Star Wars has a few minifigs with torsos and legs that would work well for a fighter pilot flight suit)

Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

If they had done Black Panther as a head similar to the Iron Man, Venom and Carnage heads (similar size and price point) I would have been interested. But for what the Black Panther bust costs here in Australia I would rather buy a Daily Bugle instead (the Bugle costs the same as the Black Panther bust here in Australia) -
I too wish they would bring back the people packs. I bought every single one of them (including the Space people pack) and would buy any others that came out for sure.

Many themes across LEGO repeat the same basic ideas but change up the actual designs. City has new police stations all the time but each one is different and brings something new to the table. Friends repeats themes like vet clinics/animal care. Technic introduces new cranes, new helicopters etc regularly. Star Wars has new X-Wings and Millennium Falcons and other popular vehicles every few years.

A music store (if its full of instruments rather than records or CD's) would be great.

I suspect the reason DC wants merchandise to tie into the movies etc is much the same reason Marvel wants merchandise that ties into the current stuff rather than having, say, Fantastic Four or X-Men merchandise.
-
I wonder how much of what has happened to DC Super Heroes (i.e. lack of anything good and especially the fun "comic book" style sets we got previously) is down to LEGO not wanting to make the good stuff and how much is down to Warner and DC not letting LEGO make the good stuff...

As a collector of all things police, a police academy would be an instant-buy for me and I love the idea. -

That usually means you have made too many queries in a short space of time. Wait a while and it comes back. (i.e. its designed to ensure that no one individual overloads the servers) -

The Marvel advent calendar from last year was great and full of nice parts, this year's Guardians of the Galaxy calendar not so much IMO. The only part I have any real interest in is that printed cassette tile but its not enough to make me want the set. -
Spotted a bunch of the new stuff at the dreamworld lego store. No knights but I did snag the boy scout torso, the music note jacket, the magenta bowler hat and the aqua torso with the buttons and pocket.

This https://legobricksearch.neothermic.com/missing-parts.html is a list of all the parts that have totally disappeared from the online PaB (at least in the UK) since the 17th of March (and its kept up to date by someone who is tracking the online PaB parts selection). Some parts appear to have disappeared because they are considered "licensed", some appear to have disappeared because all the sets they are in have now retired, some appear to have disappeared because they are available on the online build-a-minifig service (and LEGO have decided to keep them exclusive to that service) and for some, who knows why they disappeared. -
I have been trying to resist the urge to hit the local LEGO store (what with all the money I just spent on my order with the new online PaB setup and the money I will be spending at the upcoming LEGO show) but some of these new parts are really tempting. Might have to hit up a couple stores today and see if they have anything new...

That Thomas set will not pass review since unless I am wrong, Mattel owns the complete toy rights for Thomas (and has done Mega Bloks Thomas sets in the past)

Considering how controversial a certain flag is these days, I can't see an orange car known for having that flag on its roof being a particularly good "brand fit" for LEGO at this point. Nor would a show who's main characters are 2 guys who spend their time making bootleg booze and running away from the law be a particularly good "brand fit" IMO.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Doesn't look like North America has updated with the new parts yet but from what I am seeing here in en-au its got most of the January and February parts and some of the March stuff. Certainly enough parts to solve the problem of what to do this weekend...
