    The History Behind Eurobricks?

I totally agree. I'm not on any social media (except Youtube and Brickshelf), maybe because I'm too old for these things or maybe because I don't believe in social media and I don't have time for them. I like EB and I love this community, where the focus is not on snooping around users' private facts but on sharing experiences and technical solutions related to the brick hobby. However, even here friendships are born and consolidated over time, thanks to an increase in mutual respect and teamwork ...so this is perfect for me! I believe that the original intention (which has been maintained) was exactly this: to share ingenious constructions and solutions with other users with equal interests. Emanuele a.k.a. LT12V
  6. I agree that detail is horrifying in my opinion

    DB 232 "Ludmilla"

Thanks @Toastie! What can I add to so much (and welcome) goodwill? What you say is correct: I added the motorization by rearranging where to put the PF receiver and the batteries. I proceeded to drill some pieces to fit the 3 mm LEDs into the plates (once upon a time I limited myself to drilling the bricks for the 5 mm LEDs) in what an ever-evolving world we live in? As for the welding, I don't have any photos, because I find them uninteresting but I certainly improved my skills by using heat-shrinkable cable ties which I didn't use until 8 years ago. I preferably turn on the lights with a separate switch (so as not to occupy the already limited PF control channels) and using a circuit powered by an independent battery (so as not to remove energy from the engine)... there are obviously exceptions, especially if the models are small. All the best Emanuele What I like is that they have a train department that expands year after year, with a number of models that would make Marklin pale. For me it's a source of comparison and inspiration (sadly more than the official Lego catalogue).

Cement Silo Wagon and Tank Wagon

Hello @Duq, in reality it should be a tank wagon for the transport of hydrochloric acid and bleach, but due to the black color I like to think that it's a wagon carrying bituminous oils

    DB 232 "Ludmilla"

I'm not the author, it's a model produced by Bluebrixx Thanks, I think it's a nice combination!

    DB 232 "Ludmilla"

Hello everyone, today I want to present this new freight train consisting of the DB 232-254-3 alias "Ludmilla" and 6 wagons for the transport of prefabricated concrete beams. The train comes from Bluebrixx to which I made modifications on the baseplate, I added the lights and the motorization (performed with two 14500 lithium batteries). For the wagons (again always from Bluebrixx), two of the four anchor points were removed so that the concrete beam can slide during curves and allow the wagons to be correctly attached. Here you can find a video and some more pictures of the convoy. See you with next project...

Thanks @Sérgio this comment from you makes it special! Thanks @Toastie you are always very kind and confident in me! I agree with both observations, thank you very much @eric_son_of_joseph! Thank you @zephyr1934...you make me smile! Yes it's absolutely true @Feuer Zug, in a train yard they would be very decorative!
