One tiny mod I just done on the wishbones is move them 1L higher on one side compared to the other side, so that the wishbones are diagonal, thus improving steering. Since these wishbones are bendy plastic its probably still legal too! It looks so cool now! They They might be diagonally facing the wrong way, if so I can change that. the front axle ones will be identical instead of mirrored

Itβs illegal but that's Ok. No, it doesn't not stress the parts really. I get tired of people calling out illegal building techniques just because its basically a meme now... You have to resort to illegal building techniques eventually if you're a serious lego designer -
Great thing is with the 14z gears we can now drive axles that are spaced 1-1 Only 3-2, 3-4, etc spacing was possible before (for example with 16z+20z or 20z+24z respectively). A 10z I used to think was better but there is not a gear size that would leave 2 open pinholes pictured below free for an axle to rotate anyhow, and 14z probably has more combinations in whole unit spacing than 10z. Also there might be enough space to make a 14z clutch gear that is only 1L thick instead of 2L.

I built the gearbox, it only shifted 8 positions then when I put the third section of it that goes behind the axle on it only shifted 3 times But that's Ok, its just there so I can start adding the rear adjustable ride height. I did make some tiny mods on the gearbox like 2 rubber bands per stepper mechanism and the reddish orange rollers are now on frictionless pins. The color vomit IS very nice though, it reminds me of the gearboxes in set 42070 but on steroids

It's just because the doors and frunk can be closed after activating ghost mode, but also even more cleverly, you can open the doors independently and the frunk independently if the engine cover is not open. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that my modded set will definitely use as many black parts, including rare stuff rather than the existing colour vomit. I also want to mske the gearbox more compact. I tried this custom shifter fork but while it works with the shifter drums, it only meshes with the 3L clutch rings and not the 2L clutch rings. Sadly the custom shift forks would have been better as the axles they slide on can still rotate for the gearbox speeds. Maybe we can think of a similar shift fork idea that uses pin holes and not frictionless axle holes and that works with the 2L drive rings

Hi, Since I and others have already started talking about modding the 42232 Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear. I decided to make a slightly early topic so we can start reverse engineering and planning/discussing potential or real MODs. Some things I would like: Adjustable ride height by using 7L gear racks and 1L worm gear (I'm working on this already) Spoiler adjustment via lever in cockpit Angled steering wheel and paddle shifters, which turn with the steering wheel HOG dial for gear change HOG dial for steering Brick built headlights Trans red tail lights (instead of just red) Aesthetic improvements to bodywork and interior front fans and rear turbos spin when we drive it pink 92947 with metallic silver round tiles used for air filters on the exhaust system And for a totally different MOD project: RC drive using C+ or PF RC steering using C+ or PF RC ride height adjustment using C+ or PF RC gear change (maybe with a CADA/buwizz micromotor) RC doors opening (maybe with a CADA/buwizz micromotor) RC engine cover opening (maybe with a CADA/buwizz micromotor) RC front trunk opening (maybe with a CADA/buwizz micromotor)

Yeah I was just about to say.. They should have just made a thin disc brake that fits over the Y pattern on technic 3 pin hubs, because of the shape it will mesh with the disc brake, but will work on any 3 pin wheel hub part it still keeps the whole pin 1L section clear for wheels etc. I think I know of a particular eurobricks user who can make such a disc, so we can use it with the audi wheel hubs One problem would be that it would slide too far in on these hubs SO, the disc brake should have 3 holes that accept the stud on a stud pin which clamps the disc brake onto any 6 hole wheel (3 holes for the stud pins , 3 holes for the wheel hub pins). Yes, it has 3 holes but also the Y shaped cutout

I hope we get a big BIG yellow mobile crane mkIII Use some technic baseplates in yellow sideways to pack a mega compex drive+function gearbox in, maybe use dark bluish gray vespa wheels and tyres use black XL and L linear actuators.like set 42215 did. give each axle steering suspension and a reinforced differential Give it better 2 stage outriggers than set 42009

Oh, I didn't know it was that easy! -
Sorry to bump an old thead, but in this video We get a tiny look at legos in house software, Lego Digital Designer Pro: IDK why they did not use STUDIO, but maybe one day LEGO will release this LDD pro to the public
