  1. Very nice. Great pic for the first shot, too! And I also agree that the waitress droid is very well captured. Well done!
  2. Lovely microscale build! Nice parts usage on the frogs, and the tanks are great!
  3. Wow- for as straightforward as the build is, that's a pretty nice looking mech with good articulation. I could definitely see it being used for close-in support with minifig troops!
  4. That is all kinds of fun! The giant Lego mug is rendered nicely at that scale, and all the shenanigans of the soldiers up top are great. Nice posing of all the figs, too.
  5. Highly impractical, just as a supercar should be! Nice, innovative solutions to getting that kind of look at that small scale!
  6. So much detail and visual appeal packed into such a small size! It's great! As other's have said, I'd buy this as a retail set immediately. Really nice overall shape and depth worked into those small buildings. I especially like the shack in the middle and the "tooth" pieces you used for detail on the front of the soldier's/treasury building.
  7. I have to admit that was one of my first thoughts as well. Here's wheel part and you can find a button at the bottom that will show you all the (known) sets that use it: http://rebrickable.com/parts/35 ... and those proto-minifigs appeared in 1976 (maybe e '75?) and here's an example of a train using those wheels that came out in that year: http://brickset.com/sets/396-1/Thatcher-Perkins-Locomotive Which is why I'm saying I'm pretty sure what you have there are 2 matching MOCs and not an official model. Still, pretty neat to see into someone's imagination from back then.
  8. What makes you think it's a set vs it just being an old MOC? I'm no expert on the really old vintage sets, but I've never seen anything that basic as far as overall design from that era and it doesn't strike me as an official model.
  9. Looks like Dosenbrot got it (right?)! I have to say, I'd rather see that Stormtrooper helmet than the colossal titan coming over the wall... 'cause how could the stormtrooper get you into his mouth to devour you?
  10. As I said in the other topic, this is absolutely one of the best uses of the CoasterDynamix sets I've seen. And so awesome to see it in action! Thanks for sharing the video!
  11. Nifty. Those look really nice in that scale! Some NPU on the blue truck.
  12. Hi Fusar! Lovely MOCs. I look forward to seeing more! Welcome to EB!
  13. You should definitely spend some time browsing the Pirate MOCs if you need some inspiration. Here's just a few examples of brick-built sails: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=39174 http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=104864 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=193279 (This one is just a great example of creativity with a non-traditional "sail"!) http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=110382 http://brickset.com/sets/70810-1/MetalBeard-s-Sea-Cow (Using Technic panels works reasonably well in this official set, and I've seen it used well elsewhere, too) http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=112665 (Super-simple but effectiveplate sails) http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=112149 (Beautiful result in micro-scale with a single piece!) Happy building!
  14. As others have said, the part usage on this is simply astounding! The stud shooters, treasure chest lid, and the backpack for an aftcastle are all incredible. Any one of those things would have been cool to see in a micro-MOC, but the fact that it's all together and all used so perfectly in this is just... wow!
  15. That's pretty cool. Nice solution for those seahorses!
  16. Wow. That is simply amazing! The wrecked shuttles look great. The lettering and use of the planets in the sign (along with the little spacecraft & space station) are fantastic. Nice touch with Hotdog Guy (presumably) drumming up some refreshment business in the crowd. Also, is that a camera I see towards the top of the first drop to capture the minifigs' expressions for souvenir photos? Just brilliant all-around! The only constructive criticism I can muster on this is that it appears that the coaster itself doesn't have any body to it. I know that can be challenging with the coaster system's "cars," but are the minifigs just supposed to hang on tight?
  17. Really nice. The exploding debris is superb!
  18. Great! The interior captures a small brewery operation well without being overly busy, and the sign/lettering is very nice. The small shipping dock at the back is a nice touch as well.
  19. That is delightful. I especially like the scotch tape holding on the fabric, and the Jack Stone figs that help to level-up the "useless" factor! Very nice.
  20. Now that's a new part that I didn't even know existed until now... and it could be pretty useful! Thanks for that heads-up, Exetrius!
  21. Hi Joe! Lots of fun to be had here with us cool AFOLs. Welcome to EB!
  22. Welcome to EB! Lego can get you into all kinds of new trouble, so enjoy that!
  23. I saw this on another site a few months ago when you posted it to flickr, and it's just as amazing seeing it the 2nd time. I'm no less in love with the clever curve technique you used to get that beautiful shape for the fins! The little chunk of the lunar surface you did for the base is also a great addition and really helps bring the whole thing together! Question: How stable is the rocket on its own? Are the engines of the ship attached to the base to keep them in that shape, or are those 1x2 plate curves able to hold it up without any additional support/stabilization?
  24. OK, there's a lot to like here... but the letter tiles used for the face/expressions on the alien creature are just incredibly NPU! Love it!
  25. That's awesome. I love the idea of an Octan court, and the Octan-colored aisle down the middle along with the perspective buildings out the windows are both delightful touches... as is the robot stenographer!
