Indeed. Maybe he already ate him? Lovely little build all-around!

[MOC] Geonosis Arena Execution (Arena Beasts + Custom Figures)
deraven replied to LegoAcklay's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Nice way to do the handcuffs & chains. I'll also agree- that Acklay is one of the best I've seen, especially at that size! -
Welcome, Anders! Already loving your ships, and looking forward to seeing plenty more!

That's awesome! The windmill is nicely done, if a little bit too neat/bland, but I really love the landscaping! The path and rocks are nice, the technique for the plowed garden rows is great, and the waves in the water look amazing!

This here should be all you need: http://legoexpress.tumblr.com/post/234195282 Dimensions are in mm and you can extrapolate everything you need since it's all in-System (hole in head stud is same as hand opening @ 3.1mm, width of neck is the same as standard stud @ 5mm, etc.). Some areas may be off by hundredths of a mm (studs I believe are actually 4.98mm, for instance), but I don't imagine your 3D printer is that accurate anyway! Enjoy!

Love the interior with room for all those tools and support equipment. Nice!

You've really captured it well! It looks like the front of the engine is held on by sheer willpower! Amazing result on something I think most folks wouldn't even attempt.

[MOC] Episode V- " We will test it on Captain Solo"
deraven replied to KevFett2011's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Such a fantastic rendition! All of the detail is great, but I must say that plate technique (for the floor grating) fits this use perfectly! The lighting you've included bring the whole thing together and really sells it. Great build!- 23 replies

This is great, and I definitely feel the different influences you noted which you have put together in a coherent way. The colors are really bold but work well together. I especially love the hair!
-
The structure is lovely, but Toothless takes the cake! I won't repeat all the feedback others have given, but suffice it to say that I'm quite impressed with the parts usage and detail you were able to pack in!

Come on now, I am relaxed. I didn't say anything about Bley vs Grey or anything! Mk.II does look nice! I did like the rockets on the wings, but these additional guns do make it feel a little more Classic Space, while the new larger wings above the cockpit make it feel more Neo... huh. Interesting mix! I do kinda miss the green canopy, though.

Beautiful rendition. I love the SNOT work on the bottom, too.

The overall shaping and technique you used on that precipice is fantastic. The battle scene is pretty sweet as well! I love how the whole thing has a simplicity about it but also layers of detail. Very nice!

Welcome to EB, Flip! Plenty of Star Wars for ya here!

Get rid of the non-Lego and it's really nice! I agree with you, the trans-green looks best. The opening canopy is a simple but very nice touch. Nice build! But seriously, lose those Tyco rocket pieces and replace them with Lego rockets!
-
The wheels and suspension are nice, as is the overall look of the robot, and the SNOT landscape is super. Great MOC!

Wow, the whole lab is awesome, and I love the sample container setup! But that Octan version of Clippy... Nicely done!
-
So awesome. They look spectacular, and have great functionality as well- what more could you ask for in a MOC? The steered trailer on the logging truck is an especially nice addition.

That's fantastic! You definitely need to add a terrified Sheldon off to the side, obviously having a nightmare.

Yes! There will be a test later.

Spiffy. That's an interested alternative to something like this (which is pretty cool, too).

powered bogies, vertical or horizontal? what is better?

I have nothing of value to add to this, but really wanted to say Thank You! because I'd never thought to use that old turntable in that manner. Excellent! -
Wow, at 122 parts, that's instantly recognizable and would look great in something like the Architecture line! For that piece count, I don't really have any criticism.
