  1. Hi All, Posting my first attempt at a Mech, titled The Jackal. I Started off with a basic frame and then tweaked my design over a few days to add bulk and detail on the armor. added some simple Photoshop effects for fun Feedback would be great or any ideas for weapons?
  2. Greetings Fellow Sci-Fi Fans, I present to you my version of the Bushwacker Battlemech from the PC game Mechwarrior 4. It is fully posable. It has great balance, and its strong. It took 2 months to design, perfect and build. I was up every night until 4 AM. It is captured in a running and gunning pose. I will try to make better pictures in the future. Feedback is welcome. Features of the BSW-S2 variant: The S2 is a variant of the Bushwacker that makes the 'Mech more effective at short to medium ranges. The 'Mech carries an ER Large Laser to allow the 'Mech to engage an enemy at long ranges as it closes. The 'Mech carries an LB-X Autocannon/10 or a Rotary 5 unit with 6 barrels, which can fire both standard and cluster ammunition for long to medium range engagement capabilities. For close combat, the 'Mech has two SRM-4 short range missile launchers, making it a powerful unit at any range. For added defense, the S2 carries an Anti-Missile System. 3. GN-003 Gundam Kyrios by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr This is Gundam Kyrios, from Gundam 00 anime show. In the show, Kyrios is lightning-fast transforming Gundam, his alt form being a fighter jet. The MOC, however, lacks the transformation function.
  4. MegaSphere - Atai by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr Atai is a spec ops trooper/android/whatever from upcoming randomly generated pixel-graphics platformer MegaSphere (http://store.steampowered.com/app/386340/).
  5. This was something like a super-fast build for a LUG contest, simply with theme "space". Our hero must save Moon Governor's daughter from Plutonian Mining Robot Warrior. I wanted to achieve B-movie look, so I built the robot as toy-ish as possible, and made the minifigs arther ridiculous. I also tried to use several odd parts, like the egg dome, contrainer halves on the legs and shoulder pads, and one of them Rock Riders drills (polished and everything). There are few more shots and talk on Cyclopic Bricks. Enjoy.
  6. My first build on this site. Inspired by Mech Warrior.
  7. One year before I built a G1 Optimus Prime but it could not be transformed. This time I re-build it again and now it can be fully tranformed with out taking out any parts. Hope you all like my creation. Last Optimus Prime MOC: https://www.facebook...45470942&type=3 Since there are too many photos, you can find more photos in https://www.facebook...45470942&type=3
  8. This time I used the parts from MIXLES 41560-62 to build this yellow mecha. Hope you all like it!
  9. I found I need something more flexible and stronger than a simple mechanical third hand to help me when I do welding. The Third Hand I have right now is rather clumsy, somewhat like this but bigger. The other standard variants are way to flimsy, and of little use for my purposes. Today I happened upon this, and immediately thought I need to have this! Both for usefulness and because it's cool. Then I thought it was way to expensive, and that I could build one myself. I first thought i could do it from metal, using the one I found as a blueprint for how to make it. Then it hit me it would be much cooler and much more fun to prototype it with Lego. So here I am. This is what I'm hoping to end up with, and I would much appreciate it if anyone has tips for how to make something like this, or links to other similar projects. The important part for me is that it needs to be strong and stable. I prefer using as few gears as possible in order to reduce backlash. It might be some time before I can start this project for real as I'm about to replace the roof of my house, but I'll try to update here as often as possible. -ED-
  10. Large, soft, kind hero Super Power Robo-Panda.) Based on the Baymax design. Super Power Robo-Panda by FrostNovejkee, on Flickr
  11. This is my another creation of transformer - Megatron. Again it cannot be transformed. Hope you all like it.
  12. The Hyena Wallpaper by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Recent innovations in Corpus robotics has led to surge in productions. The newest breed consists of small unrelenting animal-like proxies that stalk their prey in packs. Code-name: 'Hyena'. Hyena is the final boss of the Neptune system. It can be found on the mission Psamathe. The Hyena resembles a smaller light blue Jackal. Armed with the same twin machine guns and a shockwave emitter, also able to shoot homing missiles which can cause a formidable amount of damage. The Hyena.lxf
  13. Warframe Lego Jackal Wallpaper 1366x768 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr In attempt to exert power and authority The Corpus recently introduced the most the most dangerous security proxy yet. Nicknamed the 'Jackal', this is the same deadly quadro-bot which has become extremely problematic for Tenno in the field. Jackal is the final boss of the Venus system. It can be found on the mission Fossa. The Jackal is a massive four-legged mechanical beast with yellow-green armor plating (in my version it's yellow). Jackal armed with two heavy machine guns and grenade launchers capable of taking off a squad of Tenno in one blow.
  14. I came up with the idea to build a robot that can get me a beer or soda from the fridge while I'm watching Die Hard... I'm building it completely from Lego Technic, mostly studded. I use my own designed electronics to control the motors, pneumatic valves and read out the sensors. It saves me hundreds of Euro's by not using the NXT platform ;) Next to that: the NXT platform is not as flexible as other programming platforms. I have been busy with it for a few months now and there were some problems to be solved so I've divided "the project" in smaller goals: 1. Get the rover over a bump in the living room (success!) There's a nasty bump between the kitchen and the living room. Since the robot is going to be well over 10kg, I had to find a way to get it over the bump. The solution was to use caterpillar tracks (the robot needs to be able to turn around its own axle) with on top of that studless beams for extra grip. I've put some filt on top of the beams so my wooden floor doesn't get damaged. Video 1: 2. Make the robot move sideward to be able to position itself (success!) Not being sure about the precision of the tracks, I need the robot to be able to move sideward for positioning itself in front of the fridge (to be able to grap the handle). I designed a pneumatic system with 8 pistons that push down 8 wheels, that lift up the robot just a bit. That way the robot can move sideward, which is impossible with caterpillar tracks. As you will see in video 3, the accuracy of the distance sensors is good enough that the robot doesn't need to move sideward. If the system isn't needed when the robot is completed, I could remove it. Video 2: 3. Indoor navigation: make the robot find its way to the frigde, couch and back (success!) Using 4 ultrasonic distance sensors and a digital compass, I make the robot navigate around the house. It works just perfect! Video 3: 4. Think of a way to make the robot open the fridge I'm working on this one now. This one is by far the hardest to complete. I have already a pneumatic system that can grab the handle and open the fridge a few centimeters by setteling itself against the fridge. As you know: sometimes the fridge door is a bit stuck and you need some force to open it. Grabbing the handle and just drive backward doesn't work because of the height of the robot. Right now I need to find a way to open the fridge door further and move the robot to the inside side of the door. This is tricky and I haven't figured it out yet. If you have any suggestions: let me know! Further things to do: 5. Make the robot able to grab a can of beer/soda 6. Make the robot do the whole thing: getting out of hibernation, getting a beer, bring it to the couch and go back to the hibernation spot 7. Design an Android app that communicates with the robot through Bluetooth so I can order a beer from the couch
  15. Here's my latest Quaker! Quaker by Zachattacx, on Flickr As you can see he is based on a Star-Nosed Mole with the Ninjago Sai as a tip on the drill nose. His body is also based on a driller type machine. He is a brain attack villain moc. Hope You Like It!
  16. With a clank and a hiss, the Gremlin is ready for action! The smallest mounted unit in the Central Machine's arsenal, The Gremlin is a versatile little mech that works as scout, infantry, and artillery. During the Blackblood Wars Central Machines produced over 65,000 Gremlins making the most produced mech to date. I based this MOC using the skeleton of Exo-Force 7711. http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=7711-1 Here is an open-cockpit photo.
  17. This is my first time to create the themes of Gundam by using Lego Bricks. I am not the fan of Gundam. I created it this time because this is my first model which I bought first time when I was child. Hope you all like it.
  18. This is one of my favourite 80's Japanese classic animation. It is combined from 4 war machines. They are eagle, lion, leopard and elephant. The lion, leopard and elephant can be transformed into tank, animal and robot status repectively. The eagle can also be transformed into robot. When they are combined into Dancouga, the eagle is the head. The elephant becomes the main body. The lion and leopard are the right and left foot respectively. If you haven't ever watched it before, here is the link! I am working on the weapons for it right now. Hope you all like my creation! https://www.youtube....-SwWY5E&index=1
  19. Hey guys, so it turns out I'm not dead. To prove my worthiness of staying I'm sharing with you my newest thing that I've made: Underbite the Robotroll. Reddit - 4Chan - Flickr - Imgur
  20. This time I only take use of the parts from 31032 to build this mecha. Hope you all like it.

  22. I've been watching the 60's sci-fi show "Lost in Space" so I did a little vig with a retro feel. Hope you like it. I'm not sure how to format the page correctly, sorry.
  23. HI, This is my first MOC transformer. I designed it by MLCAD first and then build it. Unfortunately it cannot be transformed to the truck. Hope you like my creation!
  24. A frame from some test footage of the LEGO DC/Marvel Crossover that I've been developing for almost a year. And yes, it does transform into a Batmobile. A small sample of it in action can be viewed during the credits . I'll have new photos/videos up later this year on the facebook page. Thanks for looking!
