Location: F03 Tags: Land Vehicle, Spying Ok, but... just explain it to me one more time... Unbelievable! This plan is like spying 101, I don't understand how you're not getting it. I've hacked Octan's computers to trick them into thinking they’ve detected a prisoner transport. They’re going to come after you thinking they’re rescuing one of their guys. Right… Redsyn here is one of our best drivers – he’ll lead them on a merry chase but will eventually let you be ‘rescued’. By using the tracking device we implanted in you we’ll find out where their base is when they take you back there. Simple! Uh… ok, I think I understand now. But why not use an actual Octan prisoner? I have… other uses… for the real prisoners. Unless you’d like to trade places with them? No sir! I thought not… But won’t they realise I’m not actually from Octan? No, they’ll never suspect it. I thought you said this was obvious, like spying 101… Don’t worry, our forces will show up well before Octan has time to find you out. This plan is foolproof! Wait… To be continued! Location: B05 Marphacia Tags: Land Vehicle, Spying So what information are we trying to get out of them sir? We need to know if they detected the massive explosion we caused the other day. If the Kawashita seismology lab didn’t detect the explosion, we’ll know the GATE field expanded ahead of the explosion and stopped the information leaking out. If so, we have a functioning cloaking device, we'll just have to fine tune the stabilisers. Couldn’t we just ask them if they detected it? No! If we just ask them if they’ve detected any explosions recently, they’ll know we’re up to something. We have to persuade them to tell us, preferably without even realising we’re from M.A.N.T.I.S. That’s why we’re in this Kawashita boat! Exactly. And it has to be a row boat so it doesn’t upset their seismology instruments. No point annoying them before we even get there. And you have to be here to do the rowing… I see the lab sir! Good work Stevens, bring us in. Now, this is probably going to take a lot of natural charm and quick wits, and you don’t have a persuadomatic spy suit, so let me do all the talking. It could be very difficult to get the information out of them, so prepare to witness some incredible spying. Yes sir! Ok, here goes. I guess I’ll knock on the door. You’re here to learn quietly – when the aliens get here, let me do the talking. You scientists aren’t properly trained in PR. But how are we supposed to study the aliens without talking to them? I don’t care. Octan needs new allies – I don’t want you offending them by asking how many kidneys they have, or whatever. AHHHH! What the-? Location: F09 Arium Minor Tags: Exploration, Land Vehicle Mission Log: Entry 21 ~ It was time to bring out the big guns, as Agent Kytes put it. We chained our captive mutant to one of the troopers assigned to our squad, and set off in hot pursuit, with it as our "guide". HQ assigned us to a Kawashita Armoured Troop Transport (KATT). Akiko, who is an excellent shot, took the gunner's position atop the vehicle, while everyone else piled into the back. After a short distance, Ekira (who was driving) caught sight of what appeared to be some sort of alien concealed in the sand. I got out to investigate... As we set off again, Akiko hailed me from her vantage point, saying that she could glimpse smoke on the horizon. I sensed that, for good or ill, our planet-wide quest was about to conclude... That was when the world began to whirl and spin around me and a weird purple light filled my entire vision. Then nothing. The KATT C & C welcome. Apologies for the picture-heaviness

Location: F10 - Arium Major Tags: Land Vehicle Kawashita Engineer's Log - AC - F10 Arium Major It was decided that Kawashita needed a greater presence on Arium Major, a planet mostly dominated by Octan. While preogress had been made by other construction crews, we've been sent to an area that hasn't been covered yet. I've come down to survey the area for construction works with Dave and Lloyd using an old Recon Rover. The interior is a bit cramped as most of the equipment is hidden behind the bodywork panelling, but the computer systems do the job okay. The driving cab is a bit more spacious, allowing Dave a good view of where he's driving. He won't be getting a crick in the neck from looking at any monitors all day... HaHa, got the bugger! What was that? Nothing... Didn't sound like nothing to me. You're not playing that game again are you? Kind of. You're meant to be monitoring the data recording. I've almost beat my best score though. More pics in the spoiler below. Parts of it didn't turn out quite how I wanted, especially the back, but I didn't have as much time as I thought I would this week. I think it actually looks slightly better in real life aswell, I struggled a bit with the photos, again due to limited time...

Halixon had been deployed down to the ocean planet F10. The deployment shuttle dropped him onto the water surface on a Water Hovercraft. He'd use this to maneuver the vast ocean. Now, to find a small piece of land to set up a water pump... Top: Back: ------- Just a vehicle build. I would have built some water, but i don't quite have enough blue plates to set the hovercraft on. C & C welcome! Note: This is my first build in AG, so some helpful comments are appreciated.

Location: E01 Tags: Vehicle, Land Vehicle ...and the mithril solution works? Yes, perfectly. Good. Then let's put it into action. Our spies have located a processing plant for the fruit. I'm sending you to infiltrate it and use the mithril solution to turn the fruit there back to the normal fattening kind. It should only take a few batches before word gets around that the diet products don't work any more. Wait, you want me to infiltrate the plant? Me, personally? Yes. Did you get the spy suit I sent? Yes, but- It's one of the new ones with persuadomatic technology. Since you promised us it would work, you should have no qualms about testing it out in the field. I guess... but I really don't have time to be infiltrating bases! Make time. Long out. Later... Are you sure these are the right barrels? Yeah, we had a guy scope out their supply lines and this is how they transport water. The wood just seems a bit... out of place. What do you think they should be made of? Bricks? Do you realise how heavy that would be? Uh... Anyway, let's go over the plan one more time. You two will hide in these barrels with the mithril solution, while I pretend to be an Octan driver whose truck got stolen. When the next truck comes along we'll hitch a lift right into the plant. I'm wearing a wire so you'll be able to hear what I'm saying. Once we're in, and the coast is clear, I'll say the first code word, which is 'Octan'. That means you should pass the mithril solution out to me. Then... We burst out and blow the place up! YEAH! What?? No! Then you stay in the barrels until I finish sabotaging the fruit and drive us out of there. You'll only need to come out shooting if something goes wrong and I say the second code word, which is 'Kawashita.' Got it? Yeah... I guess... Good. Quick, I hear something coming, get in the barrels. Y'know, this seems like a waste of our skills. A waste of your skills? Try being a highly trained scientist on a spying mission! Now shut up! Hello down there. Need a hand? I sure do, fellow employee! Don't suppose you could give me and this water a lift to the plant? No problemo, I'm headed there anyway, and I've got room for two more barrels. What an amazing coincidence! Uh, yeah... amazing! So they ambushed you and made off with your truck, eh? I knew this would happen when corporate decided to let M.A.N.T.I.S. operate on this planet. I said at the time it was crazy! Still, I hear we have a new CEO, so maybe we'll finally get some sensible leadership. Managed to squeeze in there, fella? Just about... Alright, let's get this show on the road! To be continued! Location: E01 Donwarr Tags: Land Vehicle, Exploration Spacer Steve is out in the forest enjoying an exploration mission. The air is still and a great hawk can be heard screeching off in the distance. Life is pretty good at the moment. - Its is sure nice to get out an smell the alien flora! The CEO gig was sure tough. It is good to get back out in the wilderness. CRACK - What is tha..... AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! - Agent L are you in the area? I have a bit of a spider problem. I could sure use some help about now! - Locked and loaded. I'll be right there A loud crash in the bushes can be heard as the MTG654 Dread Mech breaks through the woods. Looks like you need some help squishing a little spider! NONE SHALL STAY MY WRATH! Sorry it is easy to get carried away in this thing. S- Thanks for the help! I thought that thing had me for sure. Lets get this thing to base so our Xeno biologists can take a look at it. Location: E11 Fascini Cluster Tags: Vehicle, Land Vehicle Last time, in Ender's story: A Space Saga Begins Is it Mine Mine? Okami Bike As Ender rode across the desolate asteroid he sent off a background request on Hiro Nakamura to Shinra. He figured he'd need help chasing down these aliens and he knew Hiro would be up to the task. Almost immediately his request was returned with a positive note granting Ender permission to bring Hiro on as part of the Okami Force. It seems Shinra had already been looking into Hiro as a likely candidate to help them figure out what the aliens were after. After searching for a couple more hours and coming up with nothing he rendezvoused with Hiro. After parking his bike in Hiro's ride, Ender joined Hiro in the atmospherically sealed cockpit. They set the scanners to locate alien life and set off across the asteroid. Soon their scanners had picked up something worth investigating. It looked like the aliens were cornered and Ender was just about to put on his helmet to go confront them when something jumped over the rocks. The robot had super strength and pushed the hummer away from the aliens, allowing them to escape. After dumping the hummer on it's side, the robot ran off leaving Ender and Hiro stranded until someone could come and help them right their vehicle. The answers they were looking for regarding the aliens would have to wait... OoC: Credit for the robot design goes to flickr user markwisski.

Location: F10 Arium Major Tags: Science, Land Vehicle // PERSONAL DIARY // So as it turns out the turtles were actually the infant state of some aliens that inhabited Arium Major. The babies had made a distress call which just so happened to mess with human brains in a weird way. I guess they were nervous because from the signal intercepts they had gotten one corporation seemed to eat anything they could get their hands on, another corporation was of a warrior culture and therefore a threat, and as for our own corporation they feared we would take them as pets. Which I feigned surprise at and explained that as a scientist I was simply attempting to better observe them. It turns out that these aliens, they called themselves "Ter Tahls", lived underground on Arium Major because they liked to keep a humid environment. They also hoped it would keep our corporations from bothering them. Surprisingly they let ED-208 keep his gun as they took us into their subterranean living space. I guess the fact that we were massively outnumbered meant they were pretty secure in allowing him that bit of security. Once underground one of their elders, "Tor Tuss", came to guide us around. He explained that they had learned our language while studying us and from the signals they had intercepted. I was excited to tell him all about Dr. Long and how great she was and how he had to meet her because I was sure she would be so happy to help his species. He nodded and said there would be time for such things later. I was a bit disappointed because I wanted to show her all of this and tell her right away so she would know and be impressed with what I had discovered. I would off course leave off the psychotic episode I had where I imagined her with flames shooting out of her hand. And the panda. The Ter Tahls had a very advanced setup underground, it was quite impressive. I was sure that Dr. Long would love to learn more for our own scientific knowledge. Maybe we could even leverage their knowledge for the betterment of our own species! We headed out onto a landing platform and awaited a supply skiff that would take us to another part where Tor wanted to show us more of their incredible facility. Though we were vastly outnumbered and quite alone with an alien species, having ED-208 with me was reassuring. It was good to have a companion on this journey. And I knew just how excited Dr. Long would be and how valuable she would find me after I reported all of this to her! Extra Pics:

Sector: G03 ~~~~~~~~~~~~Meanwhile, in real life~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dr. Long: "So, yeah, I will need you to file those follow-up behavioral reports by the end of the week. But it seems he's made excellent progress." Engineer: "Well yeah! He's hardly made a peep, since... you know..." Dr. Long: "Good to know. A quiet worker is a happy worker." "Log date 470, This is Dr. Danielle Long. The Subject's behavior has improved dramatically. I await a full data sheet from his handler, but I suspect that our behavioral improvement methods have finally rendered the subject a functional employee. Perhaps we can expand these methods to solve other problematic employees. I can think of a few who would potentially benefit from them... Dr. Long out, for now. Must check progress of Top Secret rescue mission." I've been experimenting (Science!) with that vertical border technique I'm seeing so often in GoH and some other expert builds. I'm actually quite pleased by even my own neophyte work here, so I will definitely try the technique again in the future. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Location: B06 - Sorn Tags: MANITS, Land Vehicle Double D's log 22: Well, before I knew it I was back on Sorn. I was given the task to zoom around patrol several small docking zones. After a few hours of doing some jumps patrolling, I decided I pulled up next to one of those docking zones hoping to grab something to eat. --------------------------------------------------- Sorry for the lack of story....you should go read Big Sal's stories, they're great! Location F-10 Arium Major Tags, Land Vehicle. Exploration We've landed and started traveling across the land regions of Arium Major. It is a beautiful planet that we have never explored in great detail before. My redshirt brigade is excited to be apart of this mission as we are on good hard ground and in a safe exploration rig. We can travel for weeks aboard the "Big Truck" since it has all the equipment and supplies to keep itself repaired and maintained in this rugged terrain. The interior has room for five and still enough space for a light recon ATV. When the trails get tough this little rig can scout ahead and find us a safe pass. With these redshirts, safety is #1. Murphy's Law struck right away for us. Just as I brag about this Big Truck being tough we get a jammed front tire and the suspension is broke. "Ok guys, we need to change out the tire for sure and inspect the suspension for damage. Let's work together and get this done so we can get back to work." "Nice and easy, lower it down slowly.....there ya go......WATCH OUTTTTTTT!!!" "Redshirt #2? You OK?" "Hey, no worries! It landed on the plants and I didn't get hurt!" "Wow, that is some luck. Sir, #2 is alive!" "Somebody by a lottery ticket!" "Sir, the wheel is bent and the suspension needs adjusting, the toe is pushed out, I need to line it up." "OK, just be careful" "LOOK OUT!!" CRUNCH!!!! "Redshirt #7, you OK?" "Yup, a brick stopped it from crushing me!" "Wow, lets get this fixed, get done exploring and get home before our luck runs out!" Finally we are finished with the repairs and can get back on the trail. I cannot believe I didn't lose a Reshirt today, Raven will be so proud!

Location: F10 - Arium Major Tags: Military, Land Vehicle, Building Gattsu? Melanie Mashkov - Murakumo Security, take that armor of and come with me, it's time for your training. Ok I'll just take this thing off and- Statement: Master I am afraid that is not an option, removing F3NR1R may disrupt the Nanomites that bonded with your body and thus result in potential organ failure. Well frag, that's just lovely. Wait, what if I have to use the bathroom? I'll see if I can find some kind of solution, I need to work on disconnecting you from the really expensive suit anyway or we'll all be in trouble. Fine, in the mean time just come with me, we are going to Arium Major for combat training. (Gattsu and Melanie take a shuttle to an abandoned Kawashita base on F10) This seems like a strange place to come for a training exercise, couldn't we've just used the holodeck or something? Don't worry, just stand right there while I get on this freight elevator. (Hangar-bay doors open and a large machine comes rolling into the hangar.) Oh frag, is that a Goliath Tank Drone, those aren't even legal for companies to- You'd better defend yourself, it's set to search and destroy mode. (The Goliath begins to tear up the room with it's Gattling arm mount.) Statement: Master I recommend activating Combat mode and dodging it's attacks, finding a weapon would also be advised. Bloody megablocks, frag frag frag, doesn't this suit have any build in weapons. Statement: Negatory Master, the F3NR1R is an enhancement type suit, while not equipped with weaponry it does come with jump jets. (Gattsu manages to avoid the hailfire and snatches a crowbar, while the Goliath now attempts to roast Gattsu with it's Napalmer thanks to the jump jets Gattsu manages to jump over the machine and jams a crowbar in it's exhaust vents disabling the drone.) Wow, I'm somehow quicker, more responsive. Statement: Affermative Master, as previously mentioned, you are wearing an enhancement type suit. You brute! You're not elegant at all. (How did those idiots think your Kawashita special forces material.) Elegant? Well at least you did one thing right, you managed to pinpoint and strike out at it's weak spot, good operatives know that everything has a weak spot. (I suppose you might be special forces material after all.) Wait, what are you talking about? This was a test, to see if you're really suited to be a special forces operative. Didn't they tell you? No. They did now. So am I like a spy now or something? I doubt it, they probably hired you to wreck things. So what's your weak spot? I don't have a weak spot. Sorry, this is just a very emotional moment for me... ... ...No! please... shhhhh... don't say anything. There are just a few things you need to know about leadership before you go. Let's get the dogs some exercise while we talk. Come Fluffer! First, we need to discuss debriefing sessions... One. Be sure to always wear quick drying underwear. When things get messy, as debriefing sessions tend to, it's nice to know that you can carry on afterwards with a quick hand wash and line dry. Use the hair dryer for faster results. Two. Adequate hydration is essential. Especially if you plan on a marathon debriefing session with the Kawashita sales and marketing team. Their presentations can go on and on and on. Three. Always keep lotion handy. It prevents chafing which can cause prolonged debriefing sessions to become painful. I carry a tube in my underwear at all times, since one never knows when a spontaneous debriefing session may occur. Four. Sometimes you'll find yourself losing stamina during a long debriefing session and you'll start to become unable to keep up with the presentations. Our Octan PharmaTech division has pills to help you stay alert and maintain your attention. I also keep a stash of these in my underwear at all times. Five. Pay attention to where our customers eyes to tend be drawn to. We have had remarkable success with focus groups remembering our brand when we place our logo on underwear, for instance. Six. Same applies to audio branding when our customers hear our name when they are focus and stimulated. We are working on olfactory, gustational, and tactile branding where customers can smell, taste, and feel our logo. Seven... Wait a second... How the hell did we get on top of this A-hole? He transfered to the Kawashita capitol ship and made his way to deck 10, room 105. Inside were a number of desks and at the end of the room an office. He saw the executive who had given him the orders in the office and made his way to it. When he got to the secretary she said, "Commander Tifa is ready see you now Sir." Ender entered the room and was greeted with, Congratulations 2nd Branch Executive Ender. Wait, what?! Didn't you hear? You're now the 3rd highest ranking official in Kawashita. We needed someone working for Shinra higher up in the organization. This Emboian problem is getting out of hand and we need you to put a stop to it now. This is your office, here in these filing cabinets is everything you need to know about your new job and the Emboians. Isn't the office a little sparse on furniture? Yes well, the original plan was to make you CEO, but Raven wouldn't have it. So we are still working on the furniture. So we are still working on the furniture. Your secretary will be able to fill you in on the rest of the details. Speaking of, doesn't she need a computer or something? And why isn't she in regulation uniform? She's an android. She is the computer. And Kawashita hasn't gotten around to writing the rules on Android uniforms yet so she gets to wear whatever she wants. Well with this nice cushy desk job, I can log more hours in the holodeck! Not a chance. I need you in the field as soon as you get up to speed. The Emboian we captured has given us a lot of valuable intel. I need you to meet up with Rose in the Mech chamber. Well, if I can't be on the holodeck, at least I get to play around with manly Mechs! *eye-roll* Just get moving. We didn't pull all these strings for nothing. A little while later, Ender found Rose. "What's this!" Ender shouted. "What have you done to the paint job on this mech!" "It's my mech" answered Rose. "I can paint it whatever color I want! Now we need to get to work. You are woefully behind on your mech training." "I'll hit the simulator with you," said Ender. "But I can't train in That! It's too girly." "Whatever," replied Rose, "But you're going to need a mech if the intel on the Emboians is accurate."
