Hey Yellowbird, Good to see you here, and welcome to the club. Our (my wife and myself) experience is mainly with modulars. Our average 32x32 MOC modular with nicely detailed interior cost between 200 and 350 Euros. A 16x32 around 125 to 200. Like CaptainJackBrickster said above, it depends largely on your preference, the commonness of parts used and the models. As a rule of thumb for a modular or city house (based on our empirical data of around 20 MOC modulars): roughly around 0.08 Euros per part (only new parts, bought through Bricklink in The Netherlands, exclusively from Dutch shops). Quite a bit cheaper if you are willing to buy used parts. It might be different in your country, but hopefully this gives you a bit of an idea. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Last Friday, we received two 60134 (Fun in the park) sets, for 37 Euros each. Great deal, especially since with LEGO it has been on backorder in The Netherlands (for 44,95 Euros, mind you). 14 minifigs with new torsos (and some new hair pieces and heads), a bicycle, a wheel chair AND a baby (one of the best new molds ever) for 37 Euros? As Modular/City AFOLs, we're ecstatic. Best 74 Euros we invested in LEGO for a long time. And, since it looks like the baby will be present in CMF series 16, with different colours, a modular child care MOC might be in the making! I love kids. As long as they don't make any noise. Or show any other signs of their presence, for that matter.

O, I love these! Also reminds me of the old Isetta, with the door at the front. Great idea, and endless variations possible. About new ideas: One might be to have the two wheels in the back, and one in the front, like the Reliant Robin. In true Delboy Style! Keep clicking those bricks together. Edit: I just noticed you already mentioned the Reliant in a comment above

Cheers very much for putting up the review; always a good read. I must admit, I'm no fan of this set. It looks wonky and unfinished, and the design looks like it's designed to be complex for the sheer sake of complexity. Form over substance, that's what it feels like to me. I like Technic models, but this one I shall pass on.

On looking at the first picture, no doubt about who created this. Looks terrific. Sort of reminds me of the Bubbles & seafood wine bar at Schiphol airport, in Amsterdam. But then a some decades ago. From the pictures, it seems there are a few "illegal builds" there, but the creation is absolutely smashing. The design of the bar, and the ladies walking about in dresses are inspiring. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Yup, this looks very nice. I especially like the colour combinations and the façade. As a modular fan, I would probably have tiled all of the floors, but that's a matter of personal taste. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Nice one! I love the design of the trucks and the mechanism to pull the containers onto the back. Slight improvement, in my opinion: I think the crane and the pulling mechanism would look even better and more realistic if they had another colour than red. Maybe grey? I really like the design of the pub. Lovely façade. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Yes, that looks great! Lovely design, inside and out. I especially like the front view, with the planters and the blue columns. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Terrific! Great designs, and the variations in the buildings is great. I think I like the house of the golden frogs best, but they all look brilliant. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Takes a lot to offend a Dutchman, so no worries here. I really like this one. The overall design is great, very creative idea, too. The façade is a bit dark, and the colours clash somewhat, also with the red roof. Maybe that's on purpose, seeing it's in the red light district! The interior is brilliant. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Definitely. It's a travesty, in my opinion. But hey, I'm European.

They wouldn't do that to us, now, would they?Classic bug is the only option, as far as I'm concerned. And if not, I'll solemnly swear never to buy LEGO sets ever again. Well... for a week, at least.

I like it a lot. Great parts usage on the façade, nice colours, and a lovely interior. I love the way the balcony on the first floor sort of "breaks" façade, especially in between other houses. Gives it a nice sense of depth. The 45 degree white door below the stairs is very creative, too. And transparent toilet doors! Kinky! Keep clicking those bricks together!

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Withacee replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I don't remember if those pieces were released before or after the Brick bank, but they were definitely not in this modular.Great piece, hopefully available in more colours soon. -
In the render above it is 7 wide, but on the picture in the link above, it definitely looks more like 6.Interesting set; never saw it. Looks like it never made it to the market. Shouldn't be too difficult to rebuild from the picture in the link. Looks like it has an open back. The "Hospital" sign might be a problem, though.

Great build! The cabin/bridge is absolutely brilliant, and I love the details on the deck and the modular design. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Results for Eurobricks Mega Building LEGO CMFs Contest 2016
Withacee replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Nice one, people! Always great to see a competition like this. The creativity of the entries is smashing. Cheers for organising this. -
So basically, you added a $200 set to an order of $15, in order to qualify for free shipping. I think that's a brilliant argument, I must remember that! Remember: All is fair in love and LEGO!

Cheers for putting this review up, TheBrickster, although I'm 8 years late . This set was released during my dark ages, but I really like it. Classic LEGO, very few parts needed to create a lovely build.

Well on this Dutch blog, it has a screen shot in English, from the AFOLs of Facebook group.http://www.bouwsteen...-40221-polybag/ And on the Dutch Lego wikia, it says in the notes that were written very recently (I translated from Dutch): "This polybag appeared to belong with the 10251 Brick Bank. This polybag will probably be released as a promotional set in the LEGO Shop in a few months." http://nl.lego.wikia...40221_(Polybag)

I was so hoping to receive this as a goody with the Brick bank, but no such luck.I wanted 40221 for the new bright light orange bicycle especially. Lucky for us, 41111 (Friends party train) was on special for EUR 7,99, so we bought three of those. Three bicycles + 6 hamsters sporting party hats! Pity about the statue, though. Still hoping it will surface, some time. EDIT: Just read some rumours about 40211 being a VIP promotional set, which will be available in a few months time. No idea about the reliability of that one, though.
