I really can't keep up, people. I'm running out of superlatives by now. Another perfect WV extension. Medium blue, light blue, reddish brown, lbg and sand green, who would have thought? Works a treat! Love the crooked roof, some nice part usage on the entrance and the mini-builds (tree and snowman). Good luck in the contest, and keep clicking those bricks together.

Great idea. We've been toying with the idea of a graveyard in our WV for some time. The hearse and the "coffin shed" are terrific. Love the "respectful, placid smiles" on the minifigs Best of luck, and keep clicking those bricks together.

Great set-up! I love the mountain with the tunnel. It's really fun doing this, isn't it? We put up our village every year, too. We're now working on lighting and base plates, to click them all together. Hopefully, next year we can make some pictures. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Really nice! I especially like the Christmas decorations, the interiors, the snow on the lampposts and the carriage. Good chimneys, too. I like the fact you combined lbg/dbg with dark tan and flesh. Looks great. Best of luck, and keep clicking those bricks together!

Nice one! I really like the idea of a stable. Glad you added the cottage; it looks great, with a nice interior. Good idea on the first floor door with the steps. Terrific carriage, too. Since you asked: A slight change I would make. "Rather large lampposts" is a bit of an understatement. They look nice, but they're quite bulky and high. Maybe 1x1 round bricks or a black Fabuland lamppost would work even better? Good luck in the contest, and keep clicking those bricks together!

Oh, people, stop it already! (really, please don't, keep 'em coming, by all means) I have a lot work to do here at the office, but I can't keep my eyes off of all these lovely entries. What can I say, another gorgeous build. The design of the building is great, the stable house is a perfect addition. Wonderful details, what with the stickers, milk bottles, truck, crate of straw/hay and so on. And a light brick! It breathes WV all over. Best of luck in the contest, and keep clicking those bricks together. And TWO goats! Now I'm jealous.

Great stuff. Nice architecture; difficult not to lose sight of the smaller WV scale on these themes. Good colours, too. We could do with a police station in WV. People are always trying to nick other people's trees. Good luck in the contest, and keep clicking those bricks together. Now that's so bad, that it is seriously funny

Wow, looks like the WV afol section are really trying to let TLG know there are lots of themes not yet explored. I love this idea! Wonderful roof, cute christmassy aircraft, and great interior. Colours look cool, too. And hey, where there's greasy engines, there has to be a "Biff". It's a given. Good luck in the contest, and keep clicking those bricks together.

What a lovely build. The flesh and bright light yellow go very well together. Nicely designed pot and great usage of the green whips. Love the dish cloth! Best of luck, and keep clicking those bricks together.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Withacee replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
But seriously, I wouldn't buy a re-release of CC. I bricklinked the original one with a few minor adjustments, due to parts availability, and that's enough for us, Like a lot of others, I would love to see a double building in 2017, like PS. Doctor's, dentist's, lawyer's, snack bar, hamburger place, hardware store (all Lego have to do is open lightning tiger's profile), and so on, maybe with the obligatory apartment above them. Fully residential? Fine by me. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Withacee replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Oh, here we go again... This discussion is going to split members here right down the middle (or thereabouts). Those who already own CC (or not interested) will be terribly annoyed for not getting a new modular, and the rest will be ecstatic. [insert the entire Toy Shop re-release topic below, and replace TS->CC] -
There is a tutorial here somewhere, about embedding images from you flickr account. Can't find it at short notice, but maybe a moderator can point you in the right direction. Nice MOC, by the way!

Smashing MOC. Love the façade and the colours. Really original. Best of luck, and keep clicking those bricks together.

Nice one! Great addition to a city. Nice tree. Balloon is two of these: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=553b

Lovely creation, inside and out. Love the roof gutters, the roof, the icicles and all the detailing. Perhaps slightly overboard on the greebles of the chimney. Keep clicking those bricks together!

I love it. Great structure with the tan roof supports, and I like the interior. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Wow, that is a lovely scene you created there! Very original build. The colours of the house and the trees work brilliantly together. Great tractor, and the bridge has some nice techniques. Congratulations, and keep clicking those bricks together!

1. A Koala would be nice 2. I desperately need a new goat release. I don't want to have to turn to selling drugs to be able to afford the current mould sold on Bricklink. Must. Have. Goats. Goats I say! Goats!

Lovely! A great design, and the dark red works very well with the foundation and chimney. An original idea, nicely worked out in the interior, too. I'm probably being stupid, but what are the orange flippers supposed to represent? (mind you, they look nice as decoration alone, but it looks as though they might have some significance in the cider brewing process). Best of luck, and keep clicking those bricks together!

What a lovely creation! Takes me right to the Alps. I agree it's slightly bulky compared to the rest of WV, but I think this would fit right in, considering it's a shelter. The colours are nicely picked, the two entrances to the second floor with the stairs are great, and I love the details in the interior. If one would twist my arm to nitpick: The "dark holes" in the roof (first two pic) could do with some white poly-filler (and I know from experience what a nuisance it can be to get that right, what with all the angles) . Good luck, and keep clicking those bricks together!

@Rick Giddy-up! Back on topic: We are really looking forward to this one. It seems to be a Lego custom recently to release the modular in January, in stead of December (which would mean it could serve as a Christmas present), but I guess most AFOLs either get money for Christmas, or they just return all their presents to the shops and buy the modular with the refunds. Any chance of VIPs getting early access? I can't remember from last year's modular.

Now, this is very wintervillage-ey, I like it a lot. Great detail for a 10x24 (well, 24+5) base. I especially like the busy platform, with all its details. I was going to mention the nice but sort of plainish roof, but others (including you ) already mentioned it. Maybe a dormer of some kind would look nice? Keep clicking those bricks together!
