Interesting. Horizontally? Not like BL to do that. Glad it fits, though. Thanks for the info!

Great spot! I'll definitely be ordering some of those in the future, if they surface on Bricklink. According to Bricklink, the mirror is 4x7 studs, which would mean that it will not fit in a 1x4x6 frame That would be a pity. http://alpha.brickli...age?P=20193#T=C Maybe we can cut it to size?

Painting Lego parts? Aaaaaaaargh! Most of us just make do with what TLG offers, parts- and colour-wise. Part of the challenge of MOC'ing. Bricklink will give you all the colours a part has been produced in and is available in for purchase. You'll just have to improvise. I agree that it would be nice for some parts to be available in certain colours ( I -like many others- would have some serious requests to TLG), but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Keep clicking thost bricks together, nonetheless!

Funny, those were my thoughts exactly. A bit of a "soaps and suds" bubbly kind of thing would have been great. Idea for a MOD? I absolutely love this set, but the medium blue (or is it azure?) trousers are a real eyesore. Not in the least because they clash magnificently with the yellow and bright light orange awnings below it

A very well-crafted creation, inside and out. Nice details and a great house design. I particularly like the tiled walls and the grilled roofs. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Well, your image hoster is buggering things up again... I shall be back later, for I am very interested.

A lovely rendition of the original; looks great in your set-up as well. I would love to see it with white window frames (and maybe a tan microfig?); any plans to make some minor changes in the future? Keep clicking those bricks together!

What a great and original idea, I love it! The colours are very nice, and it really looks like the real thing. Keep clicking those bricks together.

Hey Calabar, Not sure which parts you took out when you modified it, but I removed quite a bit of the code myself. Main part was the combo box with the wanted list names in it. I did not use it, because I only wanted the page I had on the screen to be converted to a wanted list. Also, the method the original script used to show the wanted list in a new page, was not working in Firefox, so I just replaced the body of the current page with the wanted list html. Other than that, I basically changed the code to match the contents of the rows as rendered in the new web site. Again, what you built now works perfectly for me, and I'm very happy with it.

Yes, the overhanging roof is a thing for modular purists like me, but I definitely like this build. It really has that Tudor feel to it. Well done! Looking forward to seeing an interior. Keep clicking those bricks together!

I stand amazed. My hat is off to you, sir. And muchos kudos to Fullnilson, for the breathtaking movie. Keep clicking those bricks together.

Great stuff! Since the new website of bricklink, the original firemonkey script did not work anymore. I changed the script myself, to get it working again, but that Firegesture thingy is brilliant! It saves me from setting the items per page manually. This is really a time saver for me, because I use wanted lists to create Excel-sheets, which I use to keep track of the status of my bricklink orders and my personal Lego projects (amongst other things). Thanks, and keep up the good work!

Nice one! The grey and red work well together, and even the boxy awnings work a lot better than I would have thought. Nice details on the interior, too. Slight disturbance that cought my eye: the 'T' in the sign might have looked better with a red plate, in stead of a red brick? (Edit) I know, these letterings are really difficult to get right; looks like a 1x1 on it's side, so a plate might not be an option. Keep clicking those bricks together!

I like it a lot; it has a nice façade, the interior of both the restaurant and the appartment is great, and I love that first floor large window. I would not have called it McDonald's, but hey, that's just my personal aversion Keep clicking those bricks together!

Now there's a nice truck. Love the trailer and the "roll off" mechanism. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Very original concept; I love the shape of the building and the interior; great colour combination. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Besides the fact that, if it's rum they're producing, it's technically not a brewery but a distillery , this is a very nice start! I like the colour combinations. Looking forward to seeing more of the interior in the future.

I like PR a lot better than PC, but there might be another argument to buy PC: It will probably go out of production a lot earlier than PR. So if you do not want to run the risk of missing out on it...

LDD Instructions generator?
Withacee replied to LukeWarmTea's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Hey Calabar, Where is this, I can't find the topic you mean. Sounds interesting; didn't know about this feature. EDIT: Already found it, thanks for the tip! -
LDD Instructions generator?

There is a third-party tool that I like, called BluePrint. A topic about it is here, on Eurobricks: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=108346 -
Well, a lot of mixed opinions, as usual. We loved this one at first sight, and after looking at it in more detail, we still loved it. Size, part count, we don't care. It's a lovely creation, both inside and out, and we look forward to buying it as soon as it becomes available. Hopefully the extra goody is the one containing the yellow bicycle, as speculated above.

I know the problem! That's why we always start in LDD, and order the bricks whenever where happy with the design. It's just impossible to keep that many bricks in stock...

That is really cool. It catches the atmosphere very nicely. Maybe a bit to brown-ish on the inside (I always imagine these diners as being pretty light in the interior), but that's subject to personal taste. Keep clicking those bricks together!

That's pretty cool! Looks really original, and a great use of parts.

This is a great effort! Love the non-rectangular shapes. Thanks for sharing it with us.
