1 10 12 14 15 This was very difficult. Great entries. Pity I had to leave some of them out. In the end, I looked at how it would look in our village, and how close to the original theme it was. Best of luck everyone!

Yes, and another thing that's special about Market street, is that most people find it butt-ugly I don't by the way, we bricklinked it, long ago, because when we discovered modulars, the first three were already unobtainable at a decent price. Welcome to the club, Daniel-Technic! You'll have lots of fun building these.

Oops, almost missed this one. Very nice idea. I like the design of the building very much. The interior details are great, and I love that paw print. Good luck!

Very pretty! The interior is especially nice, and I love the teapot.

Nice one! Great little scene. Love the trees, the water tower and the roof.

I still can't believe they actually went with one huge instruction manual, especially on such a large set... I'd happily pay a few Euros more for multiple smaller manuals, as the older modulars had. The set's still absolutely brilliant, though.

My hat is off, sir! Absolutely stunning. The details are great, and I love all those broken windows. Keep it up!

Oh, yes you do! Your setup looks great by the way. Is that house on the right your own design? It does not look familiar. I couldn't agree more. My wife and I started with Pet shop. Bought every one since. First three modulars were already retired, so we ended up bricklinking those three with some minor modifications. Once we got going, there was no stopping us. Around 25 Modulars in total in our collection at the moment. And counting... Yes! You know it makes sense. Welcome to the club. The Pet shop is a terrific starting point. Two separate buildings, great to build, nice designs. It is still in our top three.

Great design! Nice depth with the different parts of the house and the chimney, and that porch and the truck look great. The door sort of sticks out a bit, might be even better with one of these? http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=93602#T=C All things considered, a top quality contribution. Best of luck in the contest, and keep clicking those bricks together.

A lovely creation! Very original, and also very appropriate for the winter village. The layered display with the transparent vases and the workshop are very nice, and I love the porch and the front window. Best of luck in the contest, and keep clicking those bricks together!

Now, there's a modular! Looks absolutely smashing. Great colours, inside and out. Some Parisian Restaurant-inspired bits, which fit in perfectly. Favourite parts are the lobby with bar, the pool area and the attic. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Thanks, koalayummies! I like the look of this one; I might have a look into the possibilities of "modularising" it. Some interesting pieces, too. Love that curved window.

That looks great, very clever design. The façade and the entrance look terrific. Would love to see it built. Also interested in the interior. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Cheers for the review video, TheLunaBrick. I knew I wanted this set, the moment I saw it first. Time to actually order it; could do with a nice pizza van in our city. And yes, "Unfinished" is indeed the term that came to my mind on seeing the cabin floor. Keep it up!

[Review] 10254 Winter Holiday Train (with Power Functions)
Withacee replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Town
Hmm, I just noticed that as well (also in The Netherlands). And the on-line shops i checked that sell LEGO over here have this set marked as "sold out". That's weird...- 39 replies

Wow, this looks great! The colour combinations and the scene give it a post-apocalyptic look. Great cars, too.

I think that looks gorgeous. Great "Fachwerkhaus"-like façade with nice details and a very good colour combination. I especially like the ground floor interior as well. Good luck in the contest, and keep clicking those bricks togetoer!

Great scene! I would put these buildings in our Winter village with pleasure. They fit right in, as does the whole scene. Both buildings look lovely, and the details are fantastic. Best of luck in the competition, and keep clicking those bricks together!

Lovely addition to the winter village. I especially like the large brown doors, the gray tower and the "ladder vehicle". Best of luck in the contest, and keep clicking those bricks together!

An absolutely mashing façade. From a distance, it's hard to recognise it's LEGO. Hope you get a chance to complete this creation. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Great build. Love the house, and the trees, too. Ans it looks like we all agree on the picket fences Keep clicking those bricks together.

That looks great! A very original implementation, with lots of nice details. That half-finished building to the left of the crane looks terrific. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Cheers very much for putting this up. Very complete, and an interesting read. That must have been a lot of work! We can't wait to receive ours. This set looks like an absolutely smashing build. Well, both, if the wallet allows it. But if I had to choose, i'd pick the Assembly Square, simply because it fits in so well with our 30-odd other modulars. They're both brilliant, the bucket wheel Excavator being the more challenging build, I would say. So if that's an important criterion... Ah, choices, choices...

Nice one! I like the "classic" shape of the main building. The stone floor inside is very creative, as is the rest of the interior. Maybe a few (stone) ornaments on the exterior walls might help livening it up even more? Then again, a lot of churches are just like this one. Best of luck in the contact, and keep clicking those bricks together!
