Actually, they both remind me of the original. Great work, both of them.

Great interior; I love the colour combinations and the "clean" look. I'm almost sorry now that I have already built another interior for CC Keep clicking those bricks together.

Lovely build. I instantly recognised it as a "snaillad". I particularly like the boats and the details on the pavements and the tower. Keep clicking those bricks together!

As colmoore said, it's surprisingly sturdy. And indeed easy to move by picking it up by the central axis. I actually like the fact that it has no base plate; makes it look more lively, in stead of the rectangular base plates.

Well, we may have a chance, because Jamie is a great fan of anything "Fairground".A really good roller coaster (a lot better than the new Friends one ) would be great.

Cheers for taking the trouble of putting this up. I love this set; we bought it the moment it was released. It's a brilliant set, and also a lovely build. We didn't mind the repetitiveness here and there at all. I always build together with my wife, so we both took one half of the wheel and half the carriages

Lovely design. I like the blue and white scheme a lot. Nice façade, with the porch and the first floor windows. Great interior too. I agree with Dazz, above, that some foliage or flowers (or even some furniture or a bicycle) on the porch, and maybe some planters below the first floor windows would help "liven up the pattern". Lovely idea. The build looks very nice, also from the back. Nice touch to add all the workers in the interior. Keep clicking those bricks together!

A combination of light bluish grey and dark bluish grey sounds like good idea. It's an old building, that could easily have been built from old stone and marble, like castles. Also, as you said, parts are readily available. Not too sure about reddish brown. I checked it in LDD, and it didn't look brilliant. Looks more wood-like, which sort of defies its purpose, I think.

Now that's great! I'd love this as an addition to the ferris wheel and the mixer. The turning mechanism looks solid, and the motions are very fluent. I also like the idea of being able to use other carts. Micro fighters are a lovely idea! If I might suggest a slight improvement, in my opinion: The black joint pieces, rods and axles look a bit out of place, compared to the white and colourful rest of the construction. Maybe it would be an idea to use lighter colours, where possible, like white/lbg and a blue/yellow/red combination? It probably will not reach 10,000 votes (alas), in which case I hope you will put up the instructions for this one. I'd love to build it. Keep clicking those brick together!

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
Withacee replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well, each to his own. I can understand people were looking forward to this, but I find this batch completely uninteresting. More or less what I expected. Retro is fine, but these look completely outdated. A pass for me, therefore. Maybe it will lead to some better parts availability here and there. For collectors, a must have, obviously.- 4,155 replies

Great build! I think we can safely call this a MOC. It's inspired on those sets, but far more than just a modification. I especially like the façade with the set-back doors and the interior of the supermarket. How many sets did you use of both? It also looks as if you needed a lot of extra parts. I see some Simpsons Quick-E-Mart pieces, too. Keep clicking those bricks together.
-
Nice one! Fits in nicely with your other MOCs. I especially like the entrance and the roof. Maybe some foliage covering the wall?

Brilliantly executed; great details and colours, and a well thought-out scene. I have wanted a building under construction in our city for a long time. My favourites are the crane, the ground floor and the building site next to the building. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Wow, that is a great building! I especially love the colour combinations and all the different arches, The fact that you built it on a sort of rock adds to the scene as well. Keep clicking those bricks together!

Hey greg3, That looks really cool; I've seen these contraptions in action. Maybe changing the white to transparent clear of transparent light blue, or a combination of transparent colours would make it even more realistic? Keep clicking those bricks together.

Smashing build! Great details, and very nice lay-out. That tower and the terminal look expecially cool. Building an airport "City style" has always been a dream of mine. Just saw Nemo57's aircraft as well: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=117362 I'm now itching to fire up LDD and make a project of it. But, as always, there's a lot of other projects waiting to be executed as well. Keep clicking those bricks together.

Wow, these are absolutely great, Nemo57! You used some very nice building techniques there, and some great and creative part usage. Building an airport, city style has always been on my list; planes, fuel trucks, baggage cars, tower, passengers, employees, the possibilities are endless. A bit like danimarroquin did, smashing example: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=106332 Maybe your creations will inspire me to finally do it! Keep clicking those bricks together.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion
Withacee replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This confuses me... You mean to say that there are actually things more important than LEGO? But seriously... good for you to get such a nice batch! Succeeding at buying LEGO is a great feeling! Hopefully, we'll never grow up. This is a true horror scenario. Never saw this in The Netherlands. Mind you, over here, most shops don't let you feel for the ones you want... We now actually switched to buying them from Bricklink. Pretty cheap, if one is quick enough, and since we buy parts on a regular basis anyway, the shipping costs are negligible. No unintended doubles, no unwanted "misfeels". Nice. Although I must say, the excitement of opening a bag, not knowing what's in it, is still brilliant. -
I love these! Such original builds and structures, and some great parts usage. The sand red sticks out a bit in the row of houses, but it's a colour that is not often used (due to parts availability), so I still like it, even though the pink sign clashes magnificently with the façade . Always wanted to use the colour, as well as bright light yellow. Difficult. Great result. The flowers above the bike shop window are perfect. Keep clicking those bricks together! Wow, I love these Cholets! Perfect MOCing material!

These are lovely! I would love to see a nice classic side car bike, too. Keep clicking those bricks together.

Yes, I love the wheel chair too (no idea why the fig's hands are a different colour, though), and even though the hype and PC level are pretty nauseating, it's always good to see Lego making the headlines. But seriously: "Embarrassingly Overdue"? "This move by Lego is massive in terms of ending cultural marginalisation; it will speak volumes to children, disabled or otherwise, the world over"? It's Legos, people, get a grip already... EDIT: The comments on Brickset are an amusing read, by the way
