[MOC] NEW UCS Nebulon B - Medical Frigate 'Redemption'
Hobbythom replied to mortesv's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Simply stunning. Where do you start with a build like this? With a general frame? Just bits and bobs and fit them together? Can not imagine building something like this,.. -
Great build! I really like the white as a colour for the battle droids. People keep coming up with great part usage of that balloon part.
-
Just found this. Great mod. I especially like the changed 2nd and 3rd floors above the laundromat. Pics save to my inspiration folder!

Finally a way to build those typical, flimsy, south European shutters! Great MOC as allways

Stunning build. My favourite part is the theatre! It is incorporated in the landscape very well/ One small nitpick: the oarsmen in the galley are facing the wrong way :-)

[MOC] Johny Thunder And The Amazon Temple
Hobbythom replied to Jellyeater's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Really cool! It is a magnificent temple. I really like the colour used for the river itself, spot on! -
I take it back! A garden is a rare sight in Amsterdam though! But the pics show even better how good your build is! Again, well done!
-
Awesome build. Would suit a MadMax Moc also!

Splendid representation of the type of buildings you find in Amsterdam (except maybe for the garden on the front). The interior and the furniture is great too. My fabourite detail is the lavender tub as a... tub.

Great stuff! Especially fond of the kwik e mart building. Those colours just work! Got to get me some of those slopes in dark orange!

Missed that airport starter set in earlier reports from the toy fair. While I don't care for the helicopter I am happy to see a mail service return. I would love another small post office set. Frankly quite surprised the Friends set hasn't had one.

These are great. I take it you remove the leather seat when placing a minifig?
-
Indeed a wonderful set. Reminds me of the 90's figure packs with townspeople. Why did they ever stop making them?
-
Congrats to the winners! Looking forward to this years contest!

What can I say? Stunning is the word I am looking for I think. Yes. STUNNING! -
LegoSjaak, I believe last year's pirate sets had some darkred masonry bricks.

Build the first two sets of bags today and it is a great set. However: I've noticed that every tile (including) the shield parts have very visible spots where (I guess) the molding starts. Never had this before. Anyone else experiences this?

30 30 39 39 15 Some tough choices to make in this contest. In the end I decide to judge it by two standards: could this be a set (not to many parts, playfunctions) and would I buy it. Compliments to all contenders

Seeing the minifig head I want in the minifig-head-zip-lock-bag, carefully opening said bag, inserting my small lady like hands with the upmost care only to have the desired head inevitably slip, turn and disappear amidst all the other heads.
