  1. Nice modification. I bought 42029 and love it. Anyone else bought 42029? Would love to see more modifications of 42029 and the rest. H
  2. Great truck. Good use of the old school pneumatics. I had the same idea myself as I have those from the 90's. Good luck with your studies. H
  3. That's them. Thanks for that. Lego are out of stock but now I know the numbers I can try and seek some out. H
  4. Hi People, I need to get my hands on the red flexible tubing used for curves on car models (ie: 8070) lego only have one element in stok at £0.60p each but not sure what size it is. I needs the smallest to medium size. Anyone know the element ID? H
  5. Welcome to Eurobricks. I think it's a great model. Some clever features, I love the steering and ride height adjustment. H
  6. Nice unimog and a good scale. H
  7. I'm interested to know how you achieve the gearing/switching. H
  8. Great looking tank! I like that you doubled up the small tracks. H
  9. Nice model. Shame it could not be entered into the mini comp. Wish I had thought of it. H
  10. I sliced my finger with a brick separator at the weekend. My own fault for pushing an axle through before it was intended. Did not notice it at first until it started to sting. Had many a sore thumb and finger from pushing axles through, and from playing too many games in the past. H
  11. Great model! I can imagine people having fun with that. Love the mix of pneumatics and LA's and it looks great too. H
  12. I have to say i'm impressed with the 42029 pick up truck. It's the first time i've ever bought a brand new set as soon as it's come out (wish I had bought 8258). It's a good size and reminds me of a Tamiya remote control kit. I have a Tamiya remote control truck, I must compare it in size. As someone who came out of the dark ages a couple of years ago I'm impressed with it. Much enjoyment in building it on Saturday night, was up until 2am Sunday morning, I started at 5pm with breaks in between including dinner and a few hours watching TV. The new pins will be useful and I can add the hook, which is new to me, and the string to my collection. Had string before but lost it. Am interested to hear from anyone else who has bought one of the new 2h 2014 sets. H
  13. Well done to the entrants. Some great models. 1: 2 5: 2 7: 2 8: 3 24: 2 29: 3 52: 3 55: 3
  14. I like gaming but have no time, I don't have a new console but maybe once a year the mega drive comes out, which is twenty years old now, and I do some retro gaming (sonic, golden axe etc). I'm learning some programming at the moment and looking to move into a new career. I also do some writing, am interested in sci fi films but it all started with lego. Lego is my escape. Oh, did I mention motor sport. H
  15. This has been a fascinating competition. It's amazing what you can do with upto 200 parts. I made so many crazy things and I love the entries. Good luck to all. H
  16. Good review. Bought this set recently. It's a nice little set and the rotors are great. I bought it for the parts, it's worth looking into the smaller sets as they can contain some interesting parts. H
  17. I love it! I love the combination of technic and "non" technic lego, or should that be standard lego. I need to get my hands on more bricks. H
  18. Could this be a future topic, "MOD your 42029". H
  19. Impressive fleet. Can we see them individually? H
  20. Intersting. You really need to get some L or XL motors How does it perform? H
  21. Tempting. For me, worth it for the yellow parts but I really need 42029 also. Hmm. I will keep an eye on it. H
  22. So far so good. It will be interesting to see the boom arm in action. H
