    Jim, "It must have one or more function". Does a pull back motor count as a function? Does steering count? or do we mean a boom arm etc? Please clarify. I think I can now correct myself as others are building cars. H

    Great review, nice pictures and good description. For those considering power functions it's worth buying, it comes with about £80 worth of power functions. H

    Great. I'm sure the crawler comes with L motors and a servo, I don't have the set myself. in the past twelve months i've bought three L motors, a servo, power functions remote, IR receiver, extension cables and the AAA battery pack. pure joy! H

    Maybe check the lego technic website. But I'm sure they give instructions for motorising any set included in the booklets. H

    Do these cranes even have suspension? There must be some information on google somewhere, or try wikipedia for a desciption on crane suspension. Good luck with it. H

    Brilliant creation. How will your steering work with a servo? Servo is probably a bit large for your model anyway. H

    Clever valve. Only negative for me is the tracks. I love tracks but they really need some grip to be used on flooring. H

    Excellent work! Boats and ships have never been my strongest area. I spend a lot of time admiring the work of others with very little time to build my own. H

    We could maybe change the title to, "What could you build with limited parts!". My idea is to build something with a specific part list and open it out to all. Just to pass the time. H
