  1. Great truck. loved how it climbed that slope, you could hear the motors going. H
  2. Welcome, Some great builds there. I love your trucks and the mad max style car. Get them on brickshelf if not already. H
  3. A beach buggy. Have seen a real one. Nice! H
  4. Fantastic! I'm sure that would sell! The VW lovers will love you for that. Awesome job! Good luck in the competition. H
  5. Your steering is the same as mine. Though I came up with the idea for a bike. Surprised the official tumbler does not steer. I will have to make one myself. H
  6. An interesting topic. I agree with everything said on this topic so far, it all makes sense. It would need some extensive research to discover what it would take for an idea to be taken up by TLG. There are some great ideas we've seen here that I know many of us would buy, but we're not enough. It comes back to the marketing issue. It would need to be something that would appeal to current lego buyers and potential lego buyers. I've noticed recently, with the purchase of 42029, that these sets are not that complicated. Most ideas we see on here are more complicated than the official sets, the ideas here are more complicated because our fellow forum members are displaying skill and innovation as well as the ability to have an idea. i'm not saying TLG don't display skills etc, that would be a stupid thing to say, but I would say that some of the ideas we see here are too "off the wall" for TLG. A piece of work I did some years ago, which was submitted to a international organisation was described as being "off the wall", I still have the letter now. But that's how I work, and I have a feeling some of our fellow forum members ideas are considered in the same way. Being 'off the wall" is great as I like to go a step further and break through restrictions. H
  7. I was thinkiing the same thing. Technic vans have never appeared. A good removal truck, like the winged truck, is great. I wonder if it's to do with the gaps in technic, maybe a van was not viable. But now we have panels. Nice job. H
  8. I see you're using some of the older diffs. An epic model you're working on. Cranes etc only get bigger and better. Look forward to the completed model. H
  9. Look forward to seeing the first images. H
  10. Brilliant work! It might be me but from your pictures it does not look too complicated, by that I mean it looks like you used a lot of common parts which will make it easier for others to build. One of the best technic cars i've seen here. H
  11. Ouch! That's a beauty. Could you enter this in the model team contest? What a nice official set that would be, it's great with the motors and a good video. Love the slow motion. A fine build. Hall of fame for me. H
  12. I like it. Nice to see those wheels in action. But I would prefer a manual, non RC batpod for kids to whizz around. H
  13. I will try and get those front tyres and wheels. The look reallly nice. Will check customer services once the set is released. H
  14. Nice truck! Can't wait for more info. H
  15. Great truck! Love your mechanism, I think that would be a great set. H
  16. It's a good start. I look forward to the completed model. H
  17. Love the model and those old school arms. They take me back to the 70's. H
  18. Wish I had the bricks to build in this model team style. It's very clean. Great crane. H
  19. I never left it. I always did some lego, and bought the odd small set, but nothing serious for about 10yrs. Later I discovered this forum. H
  20. I agree with Balrog about the looks but it's a great build of a car with 4wd, well packaged battery packs and all the nice features. A bit more work on the front, maybe make it longer, lower and curvier. Would love to see a video of it in action. H
  21. I agree with the above, but I think you can achieve it easily. Look forward to the completed and good luck. H
  22. Interesting. I've had the idea of a bond style car but it would need to be larger. Sadly I don't have any of the supercar sets. H
  23. I hope not until later in the year. Need to get some practice in. H
  24. 42020, 42021, 42022 and 42029. I did not realise I'd bought them all this year but as the boxes are staring at me...just a few parts to get now. H
