  1. What a collection. Someone pick me up off the floor!
  2. Hi Guys and Gals, Thanks for the images. I'll use them as my guide. H
  3. Hi Guys, As part of my new awakening I've been refreshing my brain with pneumatics. I did not realise I had seven pneumatic cylinders, sadly though I only had three valves. Anyway, a quick look at the new lego website and new valves, pumps and tubing had arrived. I remembered how to build the compressor (all these parts by the way are when pneumatics were fairly new) and set about building a boom arm. Brilliant! Then I added it to a turntable. Fantastic! Now wouldn't it be nice if I could use the motor that controls the compressor to turn the turntable by clever use of a lever and some gears. Wonderful! Now all I need to do is ask my fellow technic legoers if they can direct me to such a technique. I can't seem to get my head around the new motor changeover techniques. I'm sure I will but thought you guys could help. H
  4. Hi All, I was lucky enough to buy two of the technic lego storage boxes many years ago. I could do with another couple. Now I use really useful plastic boxes. Problem is there are so many different elements to lego, which feeds our imagination, I don't think there will ever be a perfect solution. It's down to the individual lego builder.
  5. Nice looking set. Very refined. Is it remote controlled?
  6. Love the fire truck. I hope to make one of my own, with turntable ladder etc, one day soon.
  7. Any recommendations for a good digital camera to use with my lego technic? Something in the £30 - £50 range. I'm told panasonic lumix are excellent.
  8. Thanks everyone. I'm discovering that Lego is in the four corners of the world. Also, lego has been taking the weight of several of my jackets for twenty years. I'm looking at the coat hanger I made years ago. Still going strong. H
  9. Greetings fellow lego technic builders. I've had lego for over thirty years, since the age of seven, when my mother bought me a horse and carriage set back in the seveties. Best thing ever. However, went through a dip as I grew up, got a job and developed other hobbies and interests (including something called overtime). Anyway, to cut a long story short, thanks to the internet I've rediscovered the love and am enjoying the new bits and peices. Two dismantled pneumatic boom arms on my bed as we speak. A lego torch and a hand built lego figure on my book shelf, a dune buggy style vehicle on my desk and a jiffy bag of new bits that arrived last week. Lego is never far away in my house. Hope to get a digital camera soon and post some pictures. It's good to be back
