  1. I would sell the parts (ie: a bag of beams etc) on ebay but it's upto you. Good luck with it. H
  2. Interesting one. Look forward to this one. H
  3. They've been sat in water for a while. You need to use alcohol wipes, what nurses and doctors use on patients. Get onto it quickly before they rust. H
  4. Great. There's a complex simplicity about it. By that I mean I want to build one now but I know it's not that easy. Well done. H
  5. Love it. Might make one myself when I can get around to some building. H
  6. An interesting construction. I'd love to make one, H
  7. I agree that you should maybe contact Lego and see if they can help. In a way you are promoting their products and I would expect it to be in their interests to protect your lego related work (but I could be wrong). As for those copying, they have nothing better to do. In the end it won't work as true lego builders will always go for the official books. Good luck (PS: I have one of your books. Interesting). H
  8. Great garbage truck and very well presented. Love the use of LA's and pneumatics. H
  9. A great review. I remember when this set came out (wish i'd bought it). As an F1 fan i was glad to read this review as i'd always thought it was made with studless. I would love to get the wheels. H
  10. Welcome to Eurobricks. Glad to hear you've rediscovered Lego and hope it helps in your recovery. I hope you complete this. Get yourself and your son some new sets too. H
  11. Lego customer service now have online payment. Used it twice this year and just got my second delivery. It's so easy now it's dangerous. Good luck buying your parts. H
  12. Lego art! It looks polished and well put together. Great work. H
  13. Love it. I agree, motorcycle tyres might add something else to it. H
  14. Congratulations to the winners and all the entries. It was a slow build up but then the entries kept on coming. Hope to have time to take part in a comp one day. Well done to Jim for making it possible. Please keep up the good work. Enjoy your prizes people. H
  15. Not sure. Could be the valve or where the tubing joins a T connector. I've experienced it myself many years ago. if you're displaying the model you could always work out another way to keep the boom up. H
  16. The possibilities are endless! H
  17. I think the air slowly leaks out overnight. H
  18. That's great. it would be interesting to add a trailer with the same sensors and see how it manages that. H
  19. I like that chassis. Look forward to the completed model. H
  20. Tough one. Enjoyed viewing the entries. 17: 10 21: 6 22: 4 27: 3 28: 2 41: 1
  21. Not posted much on the forum recently but have kept one eye on the entries for this contest. All are great, in particular the forklifts and the trucks (Note to Jim: Maybe a forklift only competition in future) caught my attention. Well done and good luck to all. H
  22. Considering what you can do with Lego I'll say it's no more expensive than anything else. Buy a video game for £50 complete it in three weeks and it's over. You can't make something else out of it. However, there are the smaller sets for kids and like many of us, they can dream about buying the bigger sets when they are older and earning. I'm sure the box size is all part of that dream. Taking that big box home and seeing all the other kids stare knowing what it is. It's all part of Lego marketing. I say buy what you can afford and if you want more then work hard, earn the money and treat yourself. I've set myself a goal and if I hit it i'll be having that Mercedes Truck. H
