  1. Interesting use of an Owl as figurehead! I like it! This way of doing the hull works well for this size ship, too!
  2. Thank you! Same as always, really, only of course white paper instead of color as I sometimes use. The white paper has a bit of a glossy finish, which I've noticed before in photographing previous vehicles. The background is just field/trees/sky (shade of course, I'm careful to make sure the sun is on the other side of the house! or behind clouds - which spares me some heat, too).
  3. You'll be seeing more of her, or at least that's the plan! Thanks! We're after stealth here, not speed. That's an interesting bit of info though. Thank you!
  4. Very nice build, that roof technique seems to be making the rounds - I'm gonna have to try it out! (Though mine will probably have an underdose of dk red as I have only one or two of those!) The interior is really good too!
  5. Pretty funny! The cage on the back is very nice too!
  6. Very nice ship! Looks quite sturdy! Would have been nice if the sails had been more cohesive, but that can't be helped!
  7. It's Eslandian. At least, that's what I'm always going to say!
  8. Unfortunately, as far as I know, no. You can see how many free-builds you've submitted but not much else, from what I can tell.
  9. Thanks all! Really appreciate your comments! Shh! Don't tell Garmadon or kabel! Thanks! Mike is right about SK style: (but I would never have thought of Oleon as Avalonia and certainly not of Corrington as Mitgardia! Thanks Bart! I was just trying out something new... I agree that it isn't quite spot on - a little too bumpy! I appreciate the frank criticism though! Thank you! That's bad news... I was hoping to bricklink a few dozen!
  10. Thanks! I am by no means a boat expert... if it looks good to me, I go with it. I anticipate learning a lot about ships throughout the course of this game! Thank you! I was thinking of the lower one as something to attach the top, rolled up sail to when it's opened. I don't know what you would call it! (Some Eslandian I am! ) Thank you Khorne! It was a bit tricky to smash the house and the boat on one 16x16!
  11. Thanks Bregir! You are probably right about the scythe. But if I had stuck it along the ground you would hardly have seen it! Besides, we're just starting a settlement and probably don't have the pick of tools!
  12. Thanks everyone! I tried to visualize it with the wheels on the outside and came to the conclusion that it would look quite dorky, given how wide it was! Thanks! Thank you! You have a point there! But I didn't have the tiles to dk green the inside, so I decided to just switch it! I actually was thinking of the Knight's Kingdom Carriage while I was building it... but now that you mention it, it does kind of remind me of a VW! Thanks!
  13. Thank you! Thanks! Yes, everyone had their own ideas as to how it should look. Thanks carebear! Thank you! Thanks! We sort of had to go with a bunch of different colors/textures and what not as the amount of pieces we had in a given color was not always too extensive!
  14. Great pair of builds, I especially like your foliage! The rockwork on the first one is really nice as well!
  15. Lots to like about this build - the crossed swords are great and I really like the yellow and green stained glass! Very nice snowscaping as well!
  16. Very nice micro, the rockwork and the Algnado both look really good!
  17. It's got double brackets. Get rid of the ones on the outside. You don't have to copy into the image tab, but directly into your post. Private/public makes no difference in that respect.
  18. Very creative. The rose in the middle of the table looks great too!
  19. That hangar is just fantastic! Both vehicles look really good too - I especially like the dashes of yellow on the seaplane!
  20. That pod is really good, the dark red on that landscape looks great as well. The other vehicle is neat looking too, especially those huge wheels!
  21. Very nice build, the water looks really good and the dam looks great too!
  22. Wow, that's one ruthless looking Octan vehicle... it looks great!
  23. Very nice ship! The greebling is great, and this definitely looks like one fighter Kawashita and MANTIS had better stay far away from!
  24. Very nice house, in a classic Eslandian style! The hints of green look great!
