  1. Very nice and lively scene! The market stalls are really neat as is the house in the corner! The wall is great as well, feels suitably bulky and sturdy!
  2. Very nice green water! The flowers add a great dash of red as well! And good use of those pants on the native!
  3. Great suspension! And the gun on the back is a big improvement over the tire.
  4. 60 Credits to Bob please!
  5. Great job moving this story along, the carriage looks great, especially how you did the roof - I had some trouble with that on my build, didn't think of doing it back to front! The cacti are really nice too - the bright color works perfectly!
  6. Previously - Part 1 - Plots and Preparations "What a day! What miserable cold!" Malek complained. "Sir, it is 80 degrees." "Eighty! Such a chill!" The coachman shrugged. Mummies! His passenger presently resumed the conversation. "Are we almost there yet?" "There's our destination - right over that dune." "That place? I took it for a chicken coop!" The tax collector looked out of the gilt coach window, disgusted. "Guess there won't be too many taxes to collect here... but you bet I'll get a hold of whatever there is to be had." To be continued... A few more pictures of the build: The back of the carriage: Carriages are always fun and though at times this one was a bit of a pain on the whole it was an enjoyable building experience! Pretty happy with how it turned out too, though like all my other carriages, it was too big for the base! Thanks for looking! Comments are always appreciated!
  7. Thanks! Just wait 'n' see! When Ageven is stranded on a sinking rock, then he might think about giving up. Good... because that's what you're going to be seeing the next few days! Yep, that style window is simple but really looks good, if I say so myself! Thanks Garmadon! Always! Thanks! Thank you Blufiji!
  8. Another sweet speeder... those front pieces look great! The goo all over is cool too.
  9. Wow, impressive that you can build so many MANTIS sigfigs! Pretty good trick for getting them all to come! And I think you're a secret Octan fan... you use Octan software, OcMail, and now the Octan English Dictionary...
  10. That's a pretty cool Octan satellite! The MANTIS ship is neat too and you've got some good minifigure posing in your first pictures!
  11. For some reason I really like this vehicle - I think it's the tank on the back - nice work!
  12. Very nice fort - would have been nice to see it a little taller but you we're probably nearing the end of your pieces! The cutaway at the back is great!
  13. Great use of different colored logs on that roof! The offset windows are also really nice!
  14. "These are my tenants, and it's my job to protect them! I simply am not going to let any official come and..." "Yes, yes, we understand that. But you can't just..." "Why not? Aren't we strong enough - " "Excuse me, Ageven," Kha interjected, "but these Ruadh twisted pastries are just so delicious - Siedna, may I?" "Help yourself, Kha - they're there to be eaten!" "Thank you! ...go ahead, Ageven." "What was I saying? Oh yes - can't we take whatever they throw at us? What sort of knights are we, frightened off by a few dry bones?!" Ageven glared around. Aymeri glanced at his companions and shook his head doubtingly. "You know I'm as tired of the Desert King as you are, but let's be realistic here! He beat us the first time!" "Look," Masa interjected, "We just plain can't use brute force. You know that as well as the rest of us, Ageven." "So? Do we just sit back and whine?" Ageven snapped. Not being able to use force to cut the knots quickly always shortened his temper. "No." Masa lowered his voice to a mysterious whisper. "There are other ways." "Other ways?" The conspirators gathered round and put their heads together. To be continued... An overview of the build. Inspiration for the windows came from MKJ's recent BoBS build!
  15. Since the EGS has been mentioned a couple of times I wanted to stick up for the system, even if it is off topic - like Bregir says it is totally self-paced, like the Petraea University degree program (only of course, 1000x more complicated ). Of course, you could go crazy and try to get everything you possibly can, but there's certainly no need to.
  16. Beautiful build, wish we had more pictures! The houses and the wall behind both look really nice!
  17. Ocmail. We rule.
  18. Very nice build, like Bregir said it's great to see an everyday scene!
  19. Very nice build, really like how clean it is! The chimney is neat and I like the hints of dark red! Next time though, you might want to try to avoid the green stripe at the bottom of the border; it looks a little out of place. Nonetheless, you have my !
  20. Welcome to the MCTC and Eslandola, Sir Stig!
  21. Welcome to Antville! This build was a collaborative effort between myself, my two brothers (@Garmadon and W. Navarre), four younger sisters, my Dad, and a friend who dropped by. We managed to build it over the course of three days. There are 8 different 32x32 (+ border) sections. First of all, my section, the City Pool: Right across from that are a few shops. This segment was done by my 14 year old sister. As we drive down the road from there we hit the Samurai Shop, built by my Dad and a friend with a bit of technical advice from @Garmadon. Right across from that is the bank. Yes, it sticks out like sore thumb. W. Navarre just plain refused to do anything other than a cowboy style bank, so - whatever! Then as we continue our sightseeing trip, along comes the playground - theoretically built by the four year old, but actually the 14 year old did most of the work with a little inspiration from KOS Brick's great playground! Across from the playground is a residential home, built by @Garmadon. Right behind that is a barn... probably a little close to the house for comfort, but we had a limited footprint and did what we could! This was built by my 12 year old sister; I helped out especially with angling the barn. And the last section is a small Church building, built by my 6 year old sister who thankfully didn't mind me tearing down what I didn't like and was pretty good about stacking things exactly the way I told her to. And finally, one last overview: Hope that wasn't too many pictures! Comments are appreciated - thanks for looking!
  22. Very nice build, the tudor section is great and the landscaping - water, rocks, trees - is spot on! The interior is really nice as well. Just one thing - and I'm not even sure if this would really make it look better or not - but I would have suggested trying out a different color roof, probably brown but maybe dark tan or something. The black certainly doesn't look bad, but I just think a different color would look every so slightly better. However, that's a very minor criticism of a great build!
  23. Congrats to the winners! Well deserved!
  24. Wow, both legs? Ouch! And he can stand up without a stick? That's pretty good! Welcome to Eslandola!
